:mad:Well im not going to mention the casino but i been playing for 10 yrs and never was charged a fee for ewaLLET from the casino 25.00 this is unheard of just because they cant do wire transfers or checks charge me as fee? look below this is the response i got


Thanks for contacting me. We do very quick withdrawals and we allow for one free withdrawal a month but there is costs associated with all additional withdrawals. This is not something I can do anything about. It is a policy. For our regular players as well as VIP


There telling me all casinos charge a fee of 25.00 looks like ill be looking somewhere else to deposit this is not fair If im wrong ill eat my at but i know im not. Not using any names they know who they are
 
The way things are going as of late online, getting paid and getting paid quick might be worth the $25.00 dollars.

Think things out before you over react.
 
This is VERY unusual, and to try to cover it up with a blatant lie (all casinos charge this) is rogue behaviour. Most casinos do NOT charge for ewallet withdrawals, and the few exceptions that I know of charge MUCH MUCH LESS than $25.

Intercasino charge $1/1
Purple lounge charge $1/0.50

The ONLY time other casinos make larger charges is when they see large movements of funds in & out with relatively little wagering. This is to discourage it.

If they are saying 1 free withdrawal per month, then once you withdraw, don't deposit for another month, play elsewhere. This will surely cost them more than the savings they make by charging $25 per extra withdrawal.

Casinos DO pay fees, but most do NOT pass it on to the player, believing it will discourage them from depositing.

For a low roller, this is prohibitive, although a high roller might not be overly bothered, except on principle.

I have NOT seen such large fees for EVERY withdrawal option elsewhere, this is HIGHLY unusual, since casinos normally pay all the fees for the player if their deposits and withdrawals are considered "fair use", that is - they deposited because they wanted to play.

Their policies also make it even MORE prohibitive to use more than one deposit method, since single withdrawals after numerous deposits from different methods CANNOT all be sent to the same method, since the deposits have to go back to where they came from, which looks like a whole load of fees will add up just for a single withdrawal.

Once players encounter this, they may well decide to move on to another casino, where these charges are NOT made EXCEPT for the premium services.

As VWM suggests it's restrictive to low rollers. Especially when on average players may make 10 or 20 deposits. Of these, it's likely they only make play through (if on a bonus) once and enough to cash out once, for what maybe, only $500 or so.

I'm sure most of these players are still in the hole.

To expect these players to wear a withdrawal fee, is nothing short of penalising players who win.

As a high roller even though the fees would hurt me, I still wouldn't pay them. On the basis of what VWM said, principle.

Though it would be highly likely that higher rollers would have these withdraw fees waived by casino management.

All in all it's BS...I'd be playing someplace else.

It's not about shaming them it's about giving other players a heads up.

I agree. it is not about shaming them. But if this is a change in policy, you state you have played there for 10 years, then we all need to know. I don't go in and read every time I deposit to see if there have been changes. That is what is great about casinomeister. Because we all find these things out. I say name, so the rest of us know if this is also a place we regularly play. So much has changed since january that it is making it so it is not worth playing.

Last week I was told by a rtg rep here in forum that if you deposite with a cc and withdraw thru qt there is now a 25. fee on anything under 250. and it wasnt from lock casino. rep it was another accred. rtg casino here. I told her they need to let people know this before they dep. with cc. instant message them when casino opens to let us know of change. She said they were working on that.
 
The important thing here is that any charges like this must be made clear to the player before making a deposit. It should not become a surprise after a withdrawal attempt is made.

Casinos have a right to charge whatever they like to make a withdrawal. (Banks have always done so) But the difference is changing your casino account is far easier than changing your bank account.

Having a flat fee does seem a little unfair, especially to the lower rollers. A percentage based transaction fee would seem more appropriate.

IMO they should not be making a profit on transaction fees, It should be just the actual cost plus a small administration fee.
Otherwise charges like this start to become a membership fee by using stealth methods.

Not sure if I am following this correctly- is this a fee for making a credit card deposit and withdrawing to an E Wallet or they are charging this fee if you deposit by an eWallet and withdraw to the same EWALLET ?


Edit- Sorry didnt read properly- I thought it was all EWALLETS you were talking about- this fee is for withdrawals to EWALLET EXPRESS.:o

I use Neteller and there is no fee for withdrawals.

I really don't think its Lock. I made a deposit with ewallet and withdrew to usemywallet and wasn't charged anything. And I have to give them a big :thumbsup: because my withdrawal went in to my account in 7 mins. That was the fastest ever for me with rtg casinos.

Well, if this is the ONLY way players find out, when they withdraw and check fees, this is BAD. It should be spelled out CLEARLY on the website, especially since this is SO UNUSUAL in the industry; as I said, MOST casinos will pay these fees provided the player is depositing and withdrawing with the intent to play, rather than move funds. Other casinos have ONLY imposed such charges when players have "churned" large sums of money through their accounts, but played very little with them. This is to deter players from using the casino as a free money movement service, such as getting free cash advances from credit cards (in by card, out by cheque or wallet).

Usually CONSUMERS here in the UK are NOT charged for their banking, so this will be very unusual for them. The retailers pay the fees on behalf of the customer, and the baks are still offering free basic banking to customers, and only BUSINESSES get charged fees per item, or must pay a percentage on transactions.

This WILL drive players away, and more so if they are unexpectedly ambushed by this fee on a withdrawal, since they will feel there was intent to deceive, so as to not discourage deposits. Other players may well wait for a month after making a successful withdrawal, just to avoid being lucky enough to make another before the month is up.
 
They mention one free withdrawal per month for most methods, charges only apply on subsequent withdrawals. This sounds like online sportsbook terminology where charging for frequent withdrawals is not uncommon.

I don't think these fee's are reasonable at all I think it is outlandish that they want to charge this much
they make enough off of the players that don't win to void out these fees this is my opinion

Unless there's another casino rep named Elka, then it is Lock Casino. I'm afraid this may be yet another sign of the times. While it's not ideal, if it's known upfront, then I don't really have a huge problem with it myself.

With the current economic climate, and ever increasing fees for operators, and the crackdown on credit cards (for the US)...I'm afraid that some costs being passed on to players is something we're going to see even more of in the future. There are fees to deposit, fees to transfer to ewallets from banks, fees to transfer back to banks from ewallets...and so on. It's part of online gaming. Still sucks, especially for low rollers...and those who may only want to deposit $20 and cashout if they reach $100 or $150. This would certainly make you think twice.
 
If a casino is charging a processing fee, then post the casino name. It's part of their payout process which should be posted on their website and would obviously be public information.

Why the mystery? Do you think it only applies to you?

Just a heads up im already paying 10% to send money to bank you figure if im sending 1000 it cost me 100.00 from them and 25.00 from casino not cool at all
 
People should vote with their feet and stay away from this casino to show them these fees are simply unacceptable.

If it cannot afford to absorb processor fees it should not be in business. Very poor long term commercial judgement on its part.

I certaintly won't play there now.

I made my 1st WD here and was also surprised about the $25 fee. (I used ewalletxpress) I'm a small depositer and they have great bonuses, but geeez! recently signed up for a QT acct. no charge I believe.

I think that the principle behind the policy is fine but $25 is extortionate.
If you are suggesting that the charge is so high to pay for extra staffing that provides quick payouts to make customers happy it is a bit self defeating.

Why not give customers the choice of paying a fee for quick processing say 10% up to a max of $5?

If a casino charged me $25 to send my winnings to Neteller, I would uninstall the casino. In my case the casino would have shot them self in the foot because I'm a high roller.

Yes they do, but how many peeps make a withdrawal each an every time they play? Besides Lock Casino should be in a position to self absorb these fees.

Point in question. If I time my cash-outs at 32Red I'm paid to Neteller within 5 hours. And that's with ZERO fees.

The only online casinos I've know to charge withdrawal fees to web-wallets are rogue casinos. I'm sure the upper echelon of Lock Casino wouldn't want peeps to think they are like these clip joints.

Other casinos like Party Casino can pay me via Moneybookers in a few hours and charge nothing. Why would I be stupid enough to play at a casino that charges $25 to withdraw my own money ???. The mind boggles.

Its the dumbest business decision ever.
 
Well, this maybe a blessing in disguise.......Last week I posted where 3dice was the best at patout timing... Well, learned something this week....I had made several deposits and withdrawal to and from 3DICE using QT. Not much bucksd 50 and 100 dollars.
Well the last request od withdrawal was for 200 bucks and was told I exceeded my weekly withdrawal and it would cost me a fee to make thar withdrawal else i could use the "safe" I did not ask what the fee was but on principle I let it sit there waitning for my "week" to finish
The end result was after my new week began I lost the 200 bucks Well, f**** em I will take a break and will br going to Vegas where I get my cash immedfiately if I win.
These rules always pop up at the inopportune time Wish I had known that I would have used the safe if they had told me before I know my deposit and withdrawal was a bit excessive and it cost them but I was unaware
So will take a break from online gambling for a while This is the blessing I was referring to Godd Luck guys and gals
