Call from netspend

i had a cash-out at lucky red and i wanted it sent back to my other c-card seeing i don,t have a bank account but they sent it to my netspend card instead.

they then put my cards as lost or stolden and when i called them they wanted to know from what company this return was from i told them i did,nt know as i

use my card for everything on line but yes it was mine and i needed the block taken off she then told me no not until i sent in a statement saying where this return came from i told her i could,nt seeing it would take me too long and i needed that money now for bills.

she asked me if all my account transaction were made by me and i told her yes and they better take the block off and again she said no and for whoever put it in my account needed to take it back out.

at this point i was pissed and i told her no you will unblock my account i pay every month to use that card and you are not going to kidnap my money and tell me i can,t use it.

and when she said no again the fight was on i yelled for about 5 mins and a few bad words were tossed in i then told her to kiss my ass unblock my account so i could get my money and then close my account and then hung up on her.

when i put down the phone my account was unblocked and i got my money at as fast as i could.

I tried to decipher this and if I read correctly you are saying you asked for a payment back to your credit card but they mistakenly sent it to your Netspend card. How did they credit it back? I could see ACH but I had no idea it was possible for them to credit it back to the card instantly. I know at one time casinos did this for Americans but not in a long time. Consider yourself very lucky if they were able to credit back your winnings to a cc not using ACH.

HMMM I have not had a problem so far. But I do use my card for all kinds of things. Ebay purchases, google purchases for tablet, and itunes purchases for ipod. I also use for cell phone bill and house phone bill. Have also used for gas and other purchases locally. I do not mind the montly fee or reload fees because of being able to use it for MY hobby, you all know what I am talking about. However, my card is not directly through netspend, it is through a processor of theirs. Do not know if this makes a difference, but so far I also have still been able to use my 2 bankcards and do all cashbacks to them. Only one asks questions, and that is when I have a lot of transactions or try to deposit one of the courier cheques. They put a hold on the last one. The other bank never asks any questions and immediately blocked my card when someone tried to purchase a train ticket in another state with it and called me. No problem, issued new card checked all transactions with me on old card and never blinked an eye. Not sure if states making the issue, or the us govenment in general. Just my experience.

That is very concerning, what was clubworld's explanation for this?
Pam

they never got back to me but i know that the cards i put down for withdrawl was not my netspend caz i was told by them that they could not put a withdrawl

back onto a prepaid card.

i,m not mad at the casino caz i know in their terms you are told that they may put the withdrawl back the same way you deposit so thats what they did.

and they did do it fast and i was really happy until netspend did what they did.

@Pocketdiggers77. sorrie if you had trouble reading my post. i don,t know how they did it it took 3 days and i know for a fact that netspend does not do wire transfers.

so maybe yes they did it by ach caz netspend will let an ach go thought. i really don,t know i just ask for it thought pay my card and that what they did just wrong card.

If they did it ACH you would have to give them the direct deposit information. I am guessing they just credited it back like they used to do for Americans. I am glad to know it can be done but I don't expect it will ever happen for me.

why not?

Tried to use my card tonight at p**** & p**, it was declined...said not authorized. I was able using the pay p** option....I hope this is for only a short period...so aggravating

Add me to the list. I had to call and get mine unblocked. They said they had blocked it because of gambling transactions. Of course I didn't cop to that, but well you know. :( They unblocked it but told me if I did it again, it would be blocked permanently. I did do it again, :), now I have no money on it, so they can block it all they want. I'm pretty sure I'm done.......just too much trouble on so many fronts.

Odd Thing Today...Stolen Card?

Well today was a first; I went to load my ns card and was told that the card had been stolen. Of course I am from a small town and I go to this place every day so I said...nope, here it is and here I am. I told her to just hold on and let me go and call them. Well, this is what NS did. When they saw a transaction from Vestpay which is P**** and P**, they thought it was suspicious and put a "block" on the card. I told her that I had went through this with them many times and that I purchased vouchers to use at numerous places online (which is the truth) rather than giving every Tom, Dick and Harry my cc. She apologized, verified some information and said...so you do recognise Vestpay and I said yes and she said ok and unblocked the card. I told her that although I do appreciate them doing their job and trying to protect me, that it would have been embarrasing if I had went to eat (or shopping) somewhere and tried to use the card. I asked her to please "once again" put a notation on my account that I do International shopping as well as domestic shopping and rather than "block" my card, just call me. Good grief!!!

NS can't decide if they love me or hate me. The girl where I load my card had to do some fiddling with my account the last time I loaded my temp card because some transactions were 'flagged'. (I gave her the old 'I buy lots of junk online from gawd knows where' spiel). Then yesterday, out of the blue, there was a permanent NS card in the snail mail - which I didn't request, but I guess they figure they want me (and my money) to stay with them. LOL We'll see what sort of fun I have when trying to load it this weekend.

Remember if they ask about 'gaming' transactions, there's lots of games places online where players buy 'points' or whatever that have nothing to do with 'gambling'.

Every once in while, I think about all this hoop jumping.... I mean, seriously think about it.... it's beyond ridiculous.

They are at it again. Got a text from Netspend that there was a problem with my card. Tried to log in and it was locked so I had to call them.

Was told in no uncertain terms that my card had been locked because of online gambling "which is illegal in the US" and that if I did it again, my card would be permanently closed.

Did ask him which one of the charges set off the flag because I have tried not to use the same deposit option all the time. Guess I'll have to try something else. LOL!
