Had a very strange experience at Bwin. I signed up for an account and tried to deposit - neither Neteller nor Visa card were accepted. I have used both in other casinos with no problems. I spoke with Neteller who said they had not even received any requests from my account from Bwin.
Bwin had this to say:
"We regret that your inpayment via Neteller has not been accepted due to our security measures.
There are a number of internal security measures which our system applies to all attempted deposits.
If your chosen method of payment does not comply with these measures it will not be accepted. Please note that it is perfectly possible to have successfully used this method of payment on other websites but which nevertheless fails to meet the strict measures our system applies. "
Well, bar some wasted time, no problem on my part - I take my business elsewhere. I am wondering, however, what these "security measures" are ? Perhaps funded by the 2% charge Bwin levy on deposits ?
