Played Bonanza today for the first time in forever and hit a bonus on my very first spin, at 0.60 stake. Was planning to play 25 at .60, 25 at .80 and then raise to 1 and hope for bonus but well, fate is hilarious.

Anyway I had 9 dead spins, none of the drop-downs gave wins so ended on a 4x multiplier and 7.20€ total win. So much for their average 100x.

Now to be fair I've had my share of luck on Bonanza and I'm wayyy up, but that's mostly because I haven't really played it much since my single big win on the game.

Hi, If the average is 1 out of 465 whats the distribution range (if thats whats its called)?
I have seen them before and its a bell curve showing that basically never you get it in one spin up to 1% of the time it will take 10k spins to get the bonus?
I'm not sure what data is needed to make that calculation though

Edit: Sorry to clarify.. what i was hoping to see was what is the expected maximum amount of time you could see to wait for a bonus. 5,10,100k spins.
 
The way I see it is there is no limit on how long you could wait for a bonus.It has triggered around 3,489 times in 1,622,353 spins so if you were the only one playing it and these were your stats there would still be no definite number of spins before a bonus but when playing over a very long period your average wait would be 465 spins.The fact that these are communal figures and it doesn't tell you how many players it's based on makes it difficult to make any assumptions because every extra player affects the variance and expectancy of the bonus greatly to you personally.Its still 1 in 465 overall but to work in simple terms for example if there were 10 players your average would be 349 bonuses each(of course it wouldn't pan out that way just using example).If there were 100 players you average bonus hit on that amount of spins goes to 35(roughly).If there was 1,745 players your expected bonus ratio becomes just 2.Its still the same chance of 1 in 465 because as the player numbers increase the amount of spins you make towards 1,622,353 will decrease.The point being every player added affects the possible variance greatly and this could be why we are seeing some people saying they are going thousands of spins with no bonus hit whilst others are doing ok.For arguments sake if there was 1745 players you would all contribute 930 spins and expect 2 bonus rounds but if one player hits 6 bonus rounds statistically two players will recieve 0 bonus as we know the results would be a lot more volatile than that it's merely an example.Here is another thought on the game are the reels set in stone or does the game make them up as it goes along what I mean is are all of the symbols always in the same order personally I don't think they are but I have never studied it that hard.It certainly makes the drop downs up as it goes along because that's the only time you see a +5 so I don't know how many G O L Ds are on each reel at any one time given the 1000s of winning combinations the game has the bonus probably comes up more often than the true odds suggest but is negated by the fact it often pays so little.I could be way off the mark its only my personal analysis but that's what this is all about you get to talk to people who have similar thoughts running through their mind and whether others think you are right or wrong whatever the post there is always food for thought.Sorry it's so long beardyguts I always try to leave no stone unturned hope it helps even if it's just a little

wow 5 times it took 2,750 spins to trigger a bonus ok % wise that is still incredibly low.

What would people call this bonus? Poor, average, good?

I personally believe its poor considering how super rare it is to get that many spins. Its something I really despise about this slot and we all need to accept just because you get more spins means absolutely nothing. But it should because it means more spins to build the multiplier.

That is shocking shit. I would've come out with an unstoppable volley of expletives if doing a video, in fact that is similar to the one I had when I got my only ever 6-scatter cascade trigger in one of my videos.

I didnt get pissed off because I didnt get excited in the first place. 17 spin trigger. First 3 spins were dead and I knew right then and there it was going to be a joke. 3 scatters dropped in next, next two spins were dead. I actually got up and looked out the window to see if it was snowing. I had no interest in watching the bonus. I knew exactly what was happening. I actually made a phone call during the bonus too.

Big time gaming slots are not worth being played.
 
Watched a guy who occasionally streams, 2 nights ago. never many viewers just playing with his own money. Loads up Dhv. Feaute pretty quickly, picked the one where you get 15 spins with the wild multiplier that increases when it lands.. Loadsa dead spins but then a retrigger!. Must of had that multiplier wild land about 10-12 times and out of those only hit 2 lots of 3oak wins.Loads more dead spins and ended with approx 35x.

Had a unexpected 10 bonus in Leo and actually managed to meet wagering in Bonanza. However... despite getting 3 quid bonus rounds I was ‘expecting’ a nice 200 plus wd. The results were 13 quid, 25 and 40 and a 40 withdrawal was all that came.

Improvement on no bonus in 3500 tho. Maybe a new updates being uploaded ;)

But to answer your question, nickslots has a schedule. Not that hard to figure when he streams. The guy that went into kims channel same thing but he is sponsored by leovegas who is in business with btg.

Is the above true? In my mind. Maybe.

I think the problem with bonanza is the expectation has been put out there UNLIMITED MULTIPLER (every slot players dream and very smart advertising)That plants the seed in your head that you could win thousands in one bonus round.On a very odd occasion somebody will win something out of the ordinary I am sure but it won't be anything more than a lot of other slots can do.Somewhere in the programme there will be the blocker that stops the drop down from hitting.I posted something earlier about whether people thought the reels remained in a consistent order by that l mean every symbol is in the same place on every spin.In the base game the answer is I don't know I haven't studied it for long enough but when it comes to the drop down it definitely isn't the same it obviously makes it up as it goes along or certainly puts symbols where they didn't appear before same thing really.You never see a +5 in the base game so we know they get added and you never see 2 of the letters in the same column until there's a drop down then you might see L on top of G or any combination of 2 letters in 1 column.Now they can sit on top of each other after one drop down which may of taken 1 or 2 symbols from between them yet in the base game even when we have a column 9 deep or whatever the max number is you never see 2 letters in 1 column so you know it has the ability to add or leave out symbols as and when it feels necessary.Also notice in the feature reels 1-3 more often than not contain only 2 or 3 symbols restricting possibilities of big combinations and drop downs and how often the rail carts on the top block a win.Thats not random is it?

Its funny since i started posting in this bloody thread haven't had a bonus in over 1k spins! Must be rigged...

For me however the most bloody rigged game is Reactoonz.... is there a more frustrating game out there? You get battered all day in the base game get the bonus and its **!£$* demolition.... no win. Rinse and repeat until you lose all your money! When you finally get to Gargatoon it deosnt get dropped next to the half screen of premium symbols, of course not, it gets dropped in the exact spot you would choose not to put it. Thanks for the 40x game.

That's too true because 'Reactoonz' was hailed as the second coming of Christ by some, turns out after the initial smattering of winner screenshots in its debut week it turned out to be, well, another rip-off modern slot that gives nothing back to the player :cool:

Glad to see, it took me a few years to sample several games of which only a handful are truly worth it. Hits in excess of 100x were fairly commonplace across the board, hence why your average deposit could last a fair while with a decent chance of a cashout.

Something has changed it seems, whereby even older stalwarts are playing terribly though. I thought I'd re-visit an aged MG game the other day to wash away the dirge of today's games, and it played terribly.....it flatlined all the way. I'm at the point where I always end up: hopeless exasperation before getting some major hit and forgetting all about it :laugh:

One thing's for sure though, Bonanza is not the answer. It hypnotizes players into submission, where even if you do get that 100x it will guaranteed take it back before your very eyes. Games were (generally) not like that back in the day, and by that I mean no more than six or so years ago :cool:
 
Decided to do a test today with the balance of $2100 and it turned out my thoughts were right. After all those good wins, it took it all back in over 2.5K spins with $2-$10 bets and no further FS. Triggered the Free Spins on the last $10 when I reduced to $2. :oops:

Tin foil moment! All the time nothing and then on the last few bucks with a small bet and didn't pay much either. :rolleyes:

Busted quickly after that and had to deposit again ($150). Went onto $5 bets and got then twice FS in quick succession taking me back to $900. Overall $300 in deposits from my own money and $1,500 out in the end. Still a good day, but did that annoy me. 2K lost without a bonus round! :oops:

Seen it many times mate - Thats what gets to me. Most times I need to lose 100x to win 200x then it takes 300 - 500x from me. Anyways, you ended ahead :cheers:

Yesterday I had a nice 1500x in the basegame :). I've also had a decent amount of +100x en one ~750x
I don't play many spins in 1 session (in total I think max 3000), because I can't remember hitting that big only after a long session. If it likes you, you'll notice pretty soon; otherwise leave it and try another day!
 
My personal experience is that if your going to get a decent hit it usually comes in the first 50 -100 spins.I used to sit on games for long spells but when it's robbing you blind how often does it turn around(never in my experience).ploughing more money into a game that's dead is a recipe for disaster because once it's taken a certain amount the red mist descends and you become oblivious to logic all you can think about is it must give me something it owes me something.Truth is that is exactly what the vultures are waiting for("man overboard" they shout then the reply comes "ok let the Sharks loose and keep the lifeboat out of reach"either way the end is nigh.

If you reed the Bonanza thread you have your answer. In short, Bonanza is not more rigged than any other licensed slot.
What Bonanza is, is the legal emptiest promise for big wins. And the best slot of 2016-17. ;)

Doesn't matter how experienced player you are, you have never seen anything like it, so nothing can really prepare you for what you are about to experience.
Big wins never seemed easier to get, but in reality over 700x - 800x wins are 100 - 100,000 times harder than any other slot!
Yet is perfectly legal, because law doesn't force them to tell those statistics. They tell the truth about the unlimited multiplier, the RTP and the randomness, that is all the law cares for.

That is that makes people crazy about this slot, big hope crushed by hardest possible reality. Yet perfectly legal.
Did you know that chances for a bonus are 1/500 (bit more actually but doesn't matter)? Owner said that to us, here. 99% of players don't know it and think they will get bonus every 50-100 spins but in reality with 1/500 chance going 5000 spins without bonus is very common.

People get ungry and frustrated, yet BTG does only what UKGC and MGA let them do. Hide crucial statistical data from players.
Our voices should be towards them, GC of the world, to force them put crucial statistical data in game payouts table.
 
The other thing is there's a whole lot of games out there that would be producing the same type of results as bonanza if they had as many players playing them for hours on end.The fact is a lot of these games are so boring and have no potential that they probably have only a handful of players on them at any 1 time who lose £10 or whatever and move on so the game never comes under the radar.Its only the fact that bonanza is so addictive that is highlighting what would probably happen if you sat on a lot of these games and did 5000 spins
 
Bonanza may have more bells and whistles than ole DOA but the latter is and always will be the superior game. This is why it's probably the best slot ever devised.

With Bonanza, some will get that initial 'luck' but that soon peters out when you realize it's just a glorified AWP. DOA, though a bastard on occasion at least ramps up the wins with extended investment.

Here's hoping BTG get caught out on tax evasion, lose their licence and get forced into liquidation hehe :cool:
