So I had the good fortune of hitting the Max Win on Buffalo King Megways for $90k CAD on SlotsMillion. Keep this is mind, I have been a player on SlotsMillion for 5+ years and deposit and withdraw frequently. Account is always verified and in good standing....I do deposit and play what some would call slightly higher than average stakes. Of course, within my means as I do have a healthy income and good fortune of winning a decent sized lottery in person a few years back. Now I have deposited and withdrawn probably in excess of 1000 times over the years and theres never been any delays or issues with SlotsMillion. They have always paid out my winnings in a timely manner. The occasional (needing game provider verification) which has always taken 48 hours or so. This is where my concern starts. After hitting the 90K max win last thursday there has been some stalling... Ive been asked for documentation , proof of address, id, which they have on file and I actually withdrew 24 hours before this without an issue... now they're asking for affordability documents... to make sure I can afford to play at the stakes I do. I of course can afford and and am playing within my means and I also submitted my government issued tax documents to show but I find this odd since they're only asking If i can afford to be playing these stakes after I won a big jackpot. If they really do care about responsible gaming and what not shouldn't they be asking players for these documents when they are in a losing streak or after several consecutive deposits? I find this odd. And lastly.... I keep getting the same response from their customer service chat.... oh we're waiting on verification from the Game Provider on the win.... it has been over a week now and has never taken this long. It is Pragmatic play. Can anybody please help me with any info on this.... I can't help but feel like they're delaying for whatever reason. Like I said, i've won $10-15k a few times previously and have never had any issues but now that I've won bigger it seems things have changed. Thanks... please do not take this as a knock on SlotsMillion but more of a concern of mine.

Yea it stinks doesn't it? Ur absolutely correct about questioning their timing around asking u about affordability. They only show concern following a big win! How transparent is that? If I were u I would close that account as soon u receive ur winnings, maybe they would behave better in future if a good customer like urself did that. I for 1 will never open account with them after reading this. Thx m8.

I think he's saying that they were looking for a loophole so as not to pay him. But if they can't find one and he's a genuine winner, then they should just pay up already without hassling him any further for p.o.a etc

UPDATE. Ok so here’s an update. As of this morning I went on the @SlotsMillion live chat and was told that moments ago the game provider had just emailed them confirming the 90k win was legit and correct. But now the affordability document I sent in (2021 T4 CANADA REVENUE AGENCY OFFICIAL DOCUMENT) showing my annual salary was not sufficient because it’s dated 2021. Well that’s our previous tax year. It’s not 2022 tax Season yet. Anyways I am sending in a monthly paystub now from this past month. We’ll see how long this takes. Hopefully not long. Again , weird how they want to confirm that I can afford to be playing the way I do only after I win 90k and not while I was depositing and losing. ?‍♂️ Standby everyone. I’ll provide an update asap.

What happens if they decide you cannot afford to play? Do they keep your money?
I sure hope not. I would like to trust that the Malta Gaming Authority would step in. I mean between my salary and my lottery win a few years ago there is no doubt that I can afford to be playing the stakes I do. Just submitted another document so we’ll see. I will keep this forum posted.

Following with interest. Hope you get it soon canuckguy, it does indeed sound a bit dodgy.

@Casinomeister

This sort of stalling should throw a casino straight to the list of rogue/blacklisted casinos imo.
The affordability check makes no difference to the fact that either way they have to pay out the win.

Also as confirmed by another rep, verifying the win took about 4 times longer than normal, what are the odds.
And then straight to requesting documents that are not necessary to pay out the win, still holding the withdrawal hostage.
Stand by for the next made up reason to stall the withdrawal.

End of rant.

UPDATE!!!!!!! @SlotsMillion ok so you can see the pictures below from my live chat conversation at 2:20pm EST. Don't know how to feel about this... but this is what i'm dealing with. No clarity and always confusion.

I was told the following in this order....
- Payments team has been instructed that they can proceed with the Withdrawals
- but my account will remained paused until the reviews are completed ( game verification and documents have been checked)
- They'll have to ask tomorrow how to proceed with my withdrawal requests
- the reviews are still pending but my account is going to be paused in the meantime but the payments team can proceed with my withdrawals. (how can I request the withdrawals if my account is paused ?)
- the payments team will be able to start processing the withdrawals tomorrow morning (saturday)
- oh wait its possible it might be Monday now because the person looking after your case isn't in til monday.

Long story short.... haven't really made any progress other than being told the payments team have been instructed to proceed with the withdrawals but they've paused my account pending a review and the person looking after my case isnt in til monday. Here goes another 3 days delay.

Why can a player not correspond directly with the payments team or the relevant department in a special instance such as this when it's a big win... they always put these CSR live chat agents in the middle and they are put in a tough spot in not knowing whats going on. Would be nice to speak directly to the person or persons that know. Winning big is not supposed to be stressful. It's supposed to be the opposite.

Stay tuned.... update to follow. @SlotsMillion

I feel for you, and understand the emotions that come with a big win. That being said.....Slotsmillion is accredited here, and while your ride hasnt been the smoothest so far, take a deep breath and trust in the system and process. You will get your money, congrats on such a big win!
Thanks bruinsdude. Ya I’ve never had an issue with them for other wins of $12-15k. This one just seems to be taking a lot longer and more is a headache.

TBH, not sure what an hourly update will accomplish; rather post what the new day brings to apprise people.

He'll get his money, if only because this thread is garnering so much attention.
He shouldn't be going through what he is going through though as a loyal customer. It just shows us that if this is the way they treat their loyal customers, then how badly could new customers be treated? Too risky for me, accredited here or not.

Sadly its all about the money & how long they can hold onto it, how many threads do we see with that similar path with some casinos, always a excuse & always at payment time.

Slotsmillion should be a shamed of themselves really, but clearly they aren't bothered, another site to add to the ever growing black list.....

Hope it all gets sorted & you find another place to play at.

Wow. They asked for and you sent them your T4? That's pretty extreme and has nothing to do with waiting for Pragmatic Play's verification. I cannot think of a single reason a foreign online casino would require all of your tax info to pay out slot winnings. As soon as that 90K hits your bank account, I would close your Slotsmillion account immediately. This is the first time you learned they are looking for a reason to keep your money. Now you know better. Don't let there be a second.

it might be against the law for a company to request a T4. I'm assuming they didn't ask for a T4 but for proof of income.
Having said that for the withdrawal it shouldn't matter how much you make. They should be paying you out and then the proof of income can determine going forward. This sounds like stalling on their part. I can understand trying to make sure from the game provider considering the amount and that's ok as long as you couldn't wager any of it to ensure you can't possibly lose it all. Once your paid I would love for you to post a video of win. Since it's pragmatic you should still be able to create a link for it in the top right corner replay (I would not post it until your paid).

Interesting if @SlotsMillion decide that the OP can not afford to gamble - and so for the protection and well being of the player they decide not to pay the 90k. The Game providor has verifed the win - so there is no excuse @SlotsMillion need to pay and should have paid already without this rather embarrasing and quite pathetic attempt to either stall or find a loop hole so as to not pay what was legitimately won. Thankfully I saw this cr@p coming a long time ago and so no longer gamble at such places. How times have changed. A friend had what I would call a huge win with a huge cashout at an offshore crypto mid October. Paid in minutes - no qs asked ... just saying )

The whole concept of getting a licence seems to be predicated on it giving an almost false sense of legitimacy to a casino: you only have to see the likes of 888 and Jumpman having one. Player Protection? Sure, have to abide by 100 autospin rules etc but that hasn't exactly stopped the likes of them continuing to act like chancers, with a lot of them still pulling out the old : we need these docs to process etc.

Personally think the argument of: you're only safe at MGA/UKGC licensed casino's grows weaker/more tenuous with passing time.

@SlotsMillion Update as of Sunday Nov. 6th 9:30pm EST ... its been 11 days now since the win. On Friday end of day the live chat confirmed that the game check from the provider came back legit and good to go but it was too late in the day for the payments team to start processing my withdrawal because they had left for the weekend. Apparently there is a note on the account for Monday morning (tomorrow) for the payments team to start processing my withdrawals. I guess we will see, I will update the forum as soon as they start processing them. Really really hoping that they don't delay anymore.

I totally agree; I once tried to cashout of playzee; first of all they would not look at withdrawal until after 3 days , then they take 3 days , you have a max cashout amount at the time ($3 or $4k) and they allow you to cancel back to account which reset the timer back to square one - and of course being a degen they had their wish and i never cashed out that $8k Fast forward to Sportsbet.io two years later win $35k plus and I withdraw and I had the money in my wallet i’m honestly less than 3 minutes - I was shocked (in a good way !)

@SlotsMillion UPDATE! So, after being told on friday that the payments team had been instructed to start processing my withdrawals the weekend has come and gone and now Monday as well. I've been on the live chat a few times today and have still not received any information. Sure seems like the live chat agents are kept out of the loop yet the customer is not allowed to correspond with anybody else. A few messages today, my account has been paused again pending standard reviews... (which apparently were completed) , the payments team reached out to their superiors to ask how they should proceed with the withdrawals but haven't heard back... the live chat agents have messaged the payments team but they aren't replying to them... and the last update was that after the game check they will proceed with withdrawal in accordance, however due to the high amount and the threshold limit , they are double checking feel details. Thats all the answered today but since its monday they're a bit busy. I am starting to get frustrated seeing how its been 12 days now. I mean I get the provider check which obviously took 8 days and way more than the standard time but now more delays... how does it seem like nobody knows whats going on ? and why is it so hard to get actual answers?
Keep in mind i have had a verified account with them for 5 plus years and they've always had my documentation and i have withdrawn and deposited hundreds and hundreds of times without any issue.

@SlotsMillion UPDATE! Happy to say that they have processed $50k of the $90k win... as per their monthly withdrawal allowance. I have not received the $50k yet but at least it was processed, and I anticipate receiving it in the day or two. I must say... the thing that makes it most stressful is how mis or uninformed the live chat agents are... not being able to talk to the relevant departments makes it very stressful. There are live agents, then the payments team, then their superiors and there is a lot of going back and forth and misinformation. My suggestion would be to have a designated associate or company representative to handle a big win like this or a unique situation. @SlotsMillion live agents all did their best with the limited amount of information they had. Stay tuned on the remaining $40k for withdrawals that I can request on dec.1st. Let me reiterate, I have played Slostmillion for over 5 years now and have played higher stakes and have withdrawn several larger winnings of 10-15k. I have never had an issue with Slotsmillion and have always received my funds. It was only this time being of a much larger amount that it took 12 days and worried me because of the way it was handled. Thanks to everyone in this forum for the info. Thank you @Casinomeister

Most places will have someone dedicated to the case email you when you win a big sum like that.

Or perhaps that's a local thing, I've never taken out more than 7.5k at once but have been in touch through email with a HVC manager when taking out "only" 2k.

Anyway, happy you'll receive your money shortly and don't play that 40k back! At the very least take a break until everything is processed and things calmed down.

Thanks. Ya I’ve paused my account until December 1st to ensure I don’t play the 40k down. ?

UPDATE AS OF DEC 6,2022. @SlotsMillion has paid out all of the $90k winnings as per their T&C's. $50k per month. But i can happily say that all $90k has been paid. Thank you very much @Casinomeister and all members here that have assisted. Thank you SlotsMillion livechat and staff.

That's really amazing to hear!!! Congratulations and enjoy your wins!!
Good news of the week definitely! :)
