Big Win at Casino Tropez

YAY! :D I'm absolutely chuffed! I have been playing at Casino Tropez for about 12 months now, and having been bumped up to VIP status, I get great support from my VIP Host (major kudos, Rick Hunter !), and I have been getting good bonuses, despite the fact that I don't usually bet big. When I bet on things like Wall Street and Fruitmania, the best I usually win is around $200 or so, not quite enough to cash out. I since rethought my strategy, and started playing Diamond Valley at $5 a spin. AWESOME game, good wins, and now I can actually get my account up enough to cashout.

Now here's where it gets really good... I quickly got a good win, $1,000  , so I think to myself, maybe I should try some of the other games, so I start to get a little greedy. Well, major payoff, because the next thing, I get into the safe in Safecracker at $15 per spin! I won $2,550 on that, and so I go to play Keno, figuring my luck will not hold out too much longer, so I better play it safe. In Keno, I hit 8 out of 9 at $2 per spin! $9,400 !! So, I cashed out.

The cashout took 4 days to process, and because I have read about all these people who get screwed over by the casinos who find ways to not pay people, I am pretty skeptical about getting paid. After 4 days, the cashouts dropped off the system, and I panicked, but they told me this happens. Then I check my bank account two days later (I requested a wire transfer) and it was all there! I actually got paid by an online casino!!!! miracle!!!!

And then I play a bit more with the balance I left in there, and got really greedy and played A Night Out, a game I love, at $50 per spin (!!!!!) and got free spins (20 x 10 multiplier). I got some good wins in those free spins.

Anyway, this is what amazes me about the whole experience:

1. They never called me to offer inducements to reverse the withdrawal, like they did on my last cashout with them (that was only a small amount, and I told them no, I would not reverse it... they never asked again)

2. My VIP host, Rick Hunter, was actually STOKED that I won. He even said for me to NOT even think about cancelling my withdrawal! And his boss, Mike C, was even happier for me! I thought casinos were supposed to be annoyed when you win! lol

3. The money arrived, quickly, within the time frame they said it would.

Anyway, to the staff at Casino Tropez, who have really looked after me, before and after my win, thanks, guys. You have even put up with my temper tantrums when I don't win, and given me bonuses when I have asked for them. Especially Rick Hunter, who has gone out of his way to get me a good comp point rate and has bumped me up to Silver VIP and actually is happy for me winning.

See? There are some good casinos out there, guys. My recommendation is that you deal with one casino over a long period of time and build up some loyalty, as they will really look after you.

Here are some screenshots of a couple of my wins:

Great luck! Congratualtions:thumbsup: It's nice to see some Kudos for a casino now and then from a real player and not the shills. WTG!!!

A real player & not the shills? I'm no expert on the matter, but this is blatant spam IMO....how many times do we got to know the name of the VIP host is Rick Hunter....since when do you call up to be convinced not to cancel a withdrawal etc....? Me thinks we won't hear much more from Jazriel. More balanced reviews next time please,

Looks authentic to me, Jazriel seems genuinely excited (and I would be too!) I don't think this is just a forum to complain in, it is all encompassing for the online gambling experience.
Some may think that a post in the winners screenshots forum would have been enough, but look at the balance of kisses and kicks here... a lot of people have no problem bashing a casino, but how often do we read about good customer service, timely payouts, etc.?

Have you had good or bad experiences with Casino Tropez? Does it really seem so out of line for a rep to look out for a player? It may not be common, but that doesn't make it unbelievable to me.

Awesome wins :D

I got some good wins in those free spins.

Please keep in mind that these "good" wins weren't extraordinary, and ~120x your bet, but nonetheless, still awesome hits.... :) Glad you cashed out!

edit: Now that I look at it, you *only* recieved ~$7000 from 20 spins with a 10x multiplier on a $50 bet?

edit2: I'm still jealous, don't get me wrong ;)

yes. and i cant help, but the whole stuff is a bit smelly.

Really? Can you provide therefore, an example, of a faked review & how they differ? My point being is that this one rings in my head, very very hollow. Im not saying one shouldn't give glowing reviews here - far from it....but to post such unquestioning slavish praise, without having ever strung a paragraph together here previously - is very suspicious....I certainly wouldn't base my casino, and consequent financial choices on it.

@mikepipe and tristan
Time will tell I suppose. Of course it is natural to be suspicious... I just don't smell herring here:D

umm... how can i prove i am a real player?

I'd like to know how I CAN prove that I am a real player....

Maybe a photo of me playing, or something....

But thanks for the congrats. I am really pleased, because I have been done over by a couple of casinos in the past (ironically they were on casinomeister's rogues list) and I am not saying my ENTIRE experience with Tropez has been perfect, but I am ecstatic that I won and that they paid me (very very important).

And, as for mentioning my VIP Host, he has gone out of his way to keep me happy, so like I said, kudos to him.

As for being able to string a sentence together, lol, that truly is not hard to do. We have a fairly high level of English here in Australia (contrary to some beliefs that we all ride kangaroos and throw boomerangs). And I did post before, a couple of weeks ago, just to say hi.... have a look in the introducing yourself section of the forums.

I have to say that comment is a little over the top. In my time I have played c.a. 150 casinos, including 15-20 'dodgy' ones in my early days and have NEVER not been paid by ANY casino. I would never encourage anyone to deposit at a 'rogue', but similarly I would not try to give the impression that the internet is chock full of non-paying casinos.

Apart from that - GREAT story! WTG x 3 :notworthy

What on earth is wrong about coming from Australia? Are we banned from using the internet or something? First I have heard of it!

I'm from Surry Hills, in fact, I am just around the corner from Brett Whiteley's studio. I'm sorry if you think I'm not... Maybe you could check with Casinomeister, and he can confirm via my IP address.

Casinomeister, without giving out my IP address, can you just confirm my location, thank you.

As for the comment about it being a miracle I got paid, this forum is full of stories of people NOT getting paid. And I have NOT been paid by another casino, so as far as I am concerned, it IS fantastic to get paid!

But hey, thanks for your comments.

The guy is sitting in his living room in Australia. Give him a break.

Ha ha ha ha :D

Nothing personal, casinomeister, but can you confirm MY location?
I told it sooo many times...using VPN, programs hiding IP or proxy-servers you can show ANY IP you want. Even from Mongolia :D

Here the top 8 processed payments over 2000 to players in June

VIP level Request date Amount Method
4 6/9/2007 $12,500.00 Click2Pay
5 6/2/2007 $2,200.00 PaperCheck
7 6/21/2007 $2,654.00 NETeller
5 6/3/2007 $3,200.00 NETeller
4 6/20/2007 $7,000.00 Click2Pay
3 6/6/2007 4,067.00 NETeller
4 6/1/2007 4,000.00 BD
3 6/8/2007 5,354.00 NETeller

As you can see some online casinos do pay players!

Please don't sweat it Jazriel, sometimes a new poster gets a 'babtism by fire':o We do see alot of shill and spam so some users are wary and suspicious, they are just trying to 'self-police' the forum; as a fellow member you can look at it as they are looking out for you too now:)

You don't have to prove anything to anyone. Don't let it put you off. You are welcome here:thumbsup:

dont go there! :) we can all post payouts, its not the correct practice on this forum.
It's not the point whether the player is genuine or not. We cant really prove that. Just enjoy the storytelling  and be happy for one another. We must all ensure that accredited online casinos get the credit they deserve. enough said

I'm going to wade in here with my 2c worth and if you listen carefully you will be able to hear me SCREAM!

The amount of doubt and disbelief which newbie posters are subjected to never fails to astonish me. In this instance Jazriel is being criticised for posting a positive encounter with a casino, and for never 'having never strung a paragraph together here previously - it is very suspicious....'. Excuse me, but where does it say in the rules that a first time poster is only allowed to add lame comments (with apologies to Littlebit :D) to other people's posts, before beginning their own thread?

And what exactly is meant by a 'more balanced review'? Could we have that rule applied immediately to the Casino Complaints section, please? Initial posts there are not balanced (the word 'Complaints' says it all!) but they reflect the poster's experiences, and as such are very valid. Ditto Jazriel's post.

When I first joined this forum, one of the first things I noticed was how newbies got a hammering from some of the established posters who seem to feel they own this forum. And this is not just my imagination - take the time to go back over some of the posts and you can see this disburbing trend quite clearly.

If CasinoMeister Land is to continue to be held in high regard in the gaming community, then I suggest you extend that same regard to newbies who are trying to share their experiences, rather than mock them and shoot them down. Give them the benefit of the doubt. And who knows, they may also turn into valued contributors. At the moment, with some of the attitudes shown in this thread, you run the risk of losing them completely.

And here endeth the lesson!

Agreed! I am now waiting for a cashout of 7k from COTP, due entirely to that game. Am luving it! luving it! luving it!

I used to play big money on some games, and still do, but this game at 5 per spin has been better to me than any other than I can remember. :D

So from being an MG afficionado, I am now veering towards Playtech in a big, big way.

Thanks for this post! x 5...no...x 50 or even x 500 times!!!! :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy
Keep it in your mind, members! And newbies are still welcome!

Congrats on your wins and cashouts, Jazriel! I am glad you were paid and are happy with your experience! That is most important.

And c'mon guys.... Yes, we get a lot of newbie shills, and it is sometimes hard to tell the difference.. but what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? I understand that we can hardly prove anything, but holy cow, let's not scare away all the newbies who might actually have something worthwhile to say or share. We're right to be suspicious but we aren't right to blast the person down just because we are suspicious. All you need to do is watch as the person posts more or go back and read old posts - eventually the truth ALWAYS comes out, as we've seen time and time again - no one can hide for long!

A forum is meant to be a community and it's not going to be one if we stick to the regular group. Everyone needs to be welcomed and time will tell whether or not they will become a viable part of the forum or if they have a hidden agenda.

Regardless of this casino group being rogued or not they have always paid me, 3 different casino's from this group at least 5 withdrawls over 3k , anyway if the stupid a**hole shillers didn't ruin it for the legitimate posters we wouldnt be so critical.

I agree, I've been wary before and even accused a stand-up guy of spamming once.
I don't get it about them ever being rogued though, my search skills must be messed up... (or my comprehension):D

I love the Diamond Valley game, and yeah, I think that the odds are great for a $5 game (I played global traveler at $50 per spin and lost $3k easily without recovering, so I am not FOR every tropez game). I used to love playing Win $2m at another playtech casino, but Tropez don't have it... maybe if enough people tell them to, they will buy it?

Anyway, thanks and just to top it off, I have another cashout ($3.5k) in progress, so I am pleased with that.

If only I could achieve the same thing on Microgaming sites... I always have bad luck on those ones.

Ha ha ha ha :D

Nothing personal, casinomeister, but can you confirm MY location?
I told it sooo many times...using VPN, programs hiding IP or proxy-servers you can show ANY IP you want. Even from Mongolia :D

I have the ability to "see" through proxies and determine the actual IP, so yes, I could confirm your location :D

As for shillin', please leave the detection of shills to the administrators of the forum (me, Simmo!, and the robot). And only a couple of people chimmed in claiming a shill-like post. So it's all not so bad.

Real shills are pretty easy to nail - and it's quite entertaining to say the least. There are far more frivolous complaints posted by newbie posters than glory reviews. I'll take the glory reviews over the complaints any day :D

By the way, Casino Tropez has never been in the rogue pit.

i think the "hammering of newbies" here is not so much aimed at potential shills/spammers, but more at those new (cough*dutch*cough) members that chime into threads about how they played so good and by the rules and the website did not say players from my country can't play yada yada, and we hammer them because we think they are frauds/colluders/"evil" players trying to abuse bryan's services.

i think we can all tell when it's a shill. and if jaz's post was a shill, it would be one of the more creative/lengthy ones i've seen.

and holy crap, you lot are sure thanking each other a lot in this thread.

quit blowing each other kisses. i think this thread has more thanks than posts.

nice win, jaz! congrats. but casinos do pay, even the rogueyest ones (sometimes). a little over the top to say "yay i found a place that pays", but you were likely over the moon at the time, and not trying to make a true commentary on the business. let's hope your luck continues.

my 2 cents

I think this guy has been through enough. I was always taught unless you have clear evidence of wrong doing, don't point fingers.

I remember my very first post in here and got reamed for being on SSD and gambling! THank God you all stood up for me saying it was none of their business because they dont know my fiinancial status

So now I say, please leave him alone and welcome him and if he is a spammer, we shall find out. Until then....Congrats J

Let Meister and Simmo do their jobs, they are more than qualified :)

i thought it was bierfest?!:what:

> Judging by the turtle neck woollen sweater - I'm guessing Germany, 1986?

No :D
I'm still in NY, and this photo was made when travelling in Europe last winter :)

I'm pretty sure that even if your actual location can't be confirmed, it could be shown that you aren't where you say you are. Do you have alarms to let you know if you are being sniffed? Packets travel and tribbles leave turds, I wouldn't be so cocky:D

wot a disgrace! lady sovereign cuts her up good in a diss track.

now, back to our previously scheduled programming:

the player has second thoughts about the casino he so lovingly pimped to the point of being called a shill just a week prior. let's watch as this drama unfolds, we're all listening jazz...

You know, at times I really would be Happy to see you go, Blokey (misspelling intended) :D

the player has second thoughts about the casino he so lovingly pimped to the point of being called a shill just a week prior. let's watch as this drama unfolds, we're all listening jazz...

I'm bowled over by the sympathy you are showing Jazriel and the situation he may now be in. Oh wait...was that the jugular I heard tearing in your stampede to your 'I told you so' reply?

I don't see you posting any comments in Winbig's thread about Grand Monaco, which is just as effusive as this thread. Or is that because Winbig has been around forever? But...ever consider that perhaps Winbig is a 'sleeper shill'?

Longevity doesn't necessarily imply trustworthiness, and as I have said before, being a newbie doesn't necessarily imply untrustworthiness.

No offence, Winbig.....:D....just making a point.

okay, now we are up to date...

the last cashout arrived, so money-wise, it's all good (except i reckon I have sunk another 5k in since, whilst trying to win the fruitmania jackpot - went off while i was playing it, at around 39k, by the way).

the big issue i am finding, and other players may have the same experience, is that as i have a VIP host, they are privvy to a lot of things that happen with my account, and they can give bonuses higher than other staff, so what tends to happen is that once a VIP host gets their hooks in you, you can find that if they just happen to work different hours to those you play, you can really lose out on support.

at the moment, i am finding that i cannot get support, no matter how long i wait, and this is a concern. maybe now that i have won, i have become a less valuable player... don't know, but one thing i do know is that i am currently getting worse support as a silver vip (and they have just advised i am to be upgraded to gold vip in a few days) than i did as a regular player. it shouldn't be that way. because of the low level of support, i had a disagreement with Nancy from tropez vip, and now i have almost ZERO support... unless my vip host and the vip manager Mike C rectify this, it sounds like it is time to move on. and as i just happen to know 3 other vip players who are a little disgruntled at the moment, they could lose out on around $20-40k per month in revenue. not trying to sound like a bigshot, because i am not the biggest player at their casino, but i think i at least spend enough as a silver vip to get 24/7 support with a smile :D
