New Slot Announcement Big Time Gaming - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

Big Time Gaming is reviewed by Casinomeister - read our review and comment here in this forum thread.

BTG will never see a penny off me again after watching that!

What a shameful disgusting bonus round. Had higher wins on Bonanza of just 12 spins.

Considering the difficulty of getting to 50 spins, this is a what the fuck moment.

Nick @Big Time Gaming - care to comment please.

Y'know what they also need to fix?

That Wild symbol is awful. It doesn't fit the rest of the graphics at all. It looks wildly out of place.

And the standard BTG sound effects don't fit either. They should've adapted some of the official sounds.

If they wanted to convince players that the gàmbles are not bullshit, they should have converted the odds to a pie gambles
when the gamble selection is made, that way you could see how unfeasable a 90% winning chance frequently becomes a loser is.
Really is absolute con, they tell the player to go with the best percentage but it appears those odds mean nothing.

EH?

The wild symbol is a question mark, The slot is based on a game about questions.

All of the shows sounds are being used by the slot?.

The only BTG sounds are the big win ones, which are on everyone of their slots and kept, because we (the players) associate the bell ringing and the music as a decent win.

Had a good few plays.. all about as good as a ‘dunover pool party’ just another boring super duper mega slot with the chance of the impossible win as likely as Brexit...
Viking’s I played earlier was great, different and new, sadly reverted to donuts and the rest is history. Just don’t trust BTG one bit, not slating them at all as they refreshed slots... just don’t sit right with the average slotter whom only plays for fun..

The Wild is gaudy and colourful; WWTBAM is meant to be moody and oppressive.

And the "dings" and bells just sound cheap and out of place. There's loads of unused SFX in the WWTBAM library.

Yeah but the questions and outcomes are beyond rigged...
nothing like the real show.
Another example of a provider pulling your pants down and laughing in your face..
Bonanza, danger and dragon born are superb...
the likes of chilli and this shower are not for me.
Each to there own and I’m sure many a streamer will post wins, prefer my old school slotting to virtual lottery slots.
(No disrespect BTG, or affys)

Sure @interlog - just got into the office so sorry about any delays in a response.

Firstly when Harry is stating the RTP/Help has changed it might have. I have told members time and time again not to review or release links or game footage until the game has been certified by either the MGA or the UKGC. When games go for certification it's the final stamp across a game that sets it in stone for operators. In terms of the rules/RTP they may also be adjusted during final compliance. Also, MGA and UKGC specifically state, we must give players guidance on the best strategy to return the highest RTP and in this case, if you gamble, it is to choose the answer with the highest percentage.

The way Millionaire works is with absolute true odds, for example, if you have a phone a friend at 66% then that answer is right 66% of the time and wrong 44% of the time.

If you have an ask the audience at <A>1% <B>2% <C>7% <D>90% then the chance is reflected by these numbers.

The game might draw <A> 1% as the answer at 100/1 odds like this exist in the world for example

A match I was at many years ago gave odds of ManU vs Leeds (at home) with an exact score of 4:3 paying 100 to 1. MaunU beating Leeds at 4:2 was paying 60 to 1 odds. I put a tenner on the latter. In the last 5 minutes of the game Lee Bowyer scored the final goal of the match taking the score to the 100 to 1 which I didn't have a bet on. I also had a bet on a 3/1 draw and lost that too.

It comes down to nothing more than luck, the exact odds are presented to you and you can gamble or you can walk away.

In regards to the the video of 50 free spins he was very unlucky, we've seen a 10 free spins videos that have done better but equally if he had got 117k Ways with 8 ways Diamonds and walked away with £24K on the last spin... there would be more than a few tinfoil theories flying around!

The fact is Who Wants to be a Millionaire has delivered x30 multiplier in the free spins within a week of going live on a single casino. Fact; you can win up to x50,000 on this game, it's not easy by any stretch of the imagination but it's there and as you can see from this vid, it's possible to get to 50 free spins on the odd occasion, it just comes down to luck.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire will be available on Microgaming and Scientific Games casinos from Wednesday the 28th of November.

Any other questions, I'm always happy to answer.

Thanks for the responses - as to BTG via Microgaming - will Canadians be able to play as we can otherwise play Micro; does allowability come from you or the provider? Can you give a directive to allow jurisdictions to play?

50 spins should be "jackpot" since it's so difficult to achieve, anything else is just really bad and shouldn't be scripted in the game. I don't mean it should be 50000x but it should be atleast 1000x since it's only 1 in 2500 (?) bonuses that are 50 spins. Isn't it odd that the big megaways spins are absent or when they show up they pay 1 3oak and then no more reactions? I think it is.

As far as streamers go, I think Shirox has the most amount of spins when he had a 40 spin bonus on it the other day that paid about 530x.

See, that is what I don't understand. It is extremely difficult to get to the 50 spins, so you would expect "riches" at the end of it. Not even a 400x win is not riches in my book. The base game is capable of delivering that!

The game is called "who wants to be a millionaire" and the top is associated with being a millionaire. There is an expectation and the voice in the posted video said enough at the end of the bonus round. He wasn't jumping for joy.

It is almost like Bonanza.... the more spins you get, the more of them appear to be dead ones.

Nah Nik, that explanation won't wash really.

I have taken 100's of times the recommended strategy and funny how often 1 - 9% answers are correct. In no way does it display real world gambles.

Every time I got to 14 or 16 spins and it would display an answer with a high percentage, it was wrong close to 100/100, except in the two cases where I made it past the 20FS threshold. That is mathematically not explainable, pure and simple; other than the gamble result is a pure "yes" / "no" where the player can choose any answer and he will be right or wrong based on what the RNG result is. The percentages are just there for the eye.

As for the 50:50, I do not have yet enough samples to make a fully qualified comment but at the moment I stand at 28% won / 72% lost ratio from over 100 times being offered the 50:50 answers. Which can be down to luck but also down to the result being pre-selected.

My gut feeling is getting stronger that you somehow pre-determine the gamble results the soon a player hits 3 scatters. I would still consider it somehow random as you pull an RNG result from a pool of possible outcomes, which are weighted between the the low and high end on the gamble to account for the RTP....e.g. for 10 times giving 10 FS, the game will allow once 14FS or similar. But I think strongly that a player can pick any answer and if the RNG result is positive up to lets say 20FS, then he/she can choose any answer and will get there.

A 30x multiplier for 50FS is a laugh. On Bonanza, we have often 15x and more with standard 12 spins. The hit rate on Bonanza is roughly 1:3, I guess it is not much different on WWTBAM. So standard play should get you to 16x in 50FS without counting the cascades in a spin sequence. Getting to 30x multiplier is then a mere 14 cascades in 50 chances, and most cascades are on 3OAK or low value 4OAK. Funny how exactly in those 50FS you have plenty of them.

Plus thousands, if not tens or even hundreds of thousands players around the world have played the game in fun mode since it launched. Any 50FS occurence would have turned up on Youtube, Twitch or any other social media. To have one in one week which then pays abut 363x bet shows that players have two challenges where the odds are totally against them.

First getting to the 50FS will be something like 1:5,000 or even 1:10,000 gambles. And then the 50FS will produce maybe 1:1,000 50FS rounds a monster win higher than 10K x bet win, 2:1,000 50FS rounds a 5k - 10K x bet win, and probably over 500:1,000 50FS rounds a result below 500x bet.

In essence, not worth chasing. The odds of getting first to 50FS and then a monster win are astronomically low. DoA fares much better without all the "broohaha".

What I can’t get away from is the fact that any of you guys that record your stats properly ie not just a guess off the top of your head are ALWAYS on the negative side by some distance on a 50/50 gamble. Not once have I seen a post on the contrary to this. Surely if it was a genuine 50/50 there would be some posts of this nature. Where the player is well ahead of that stat. I know it’s a different game but that wolf hunter where the kills are supposed to be 50/50 in the base. I recorded my stats for 2 sessions and the wolf won 56 to 16 and 72 to 28. People will say that’s to small of a sample but I don’t need to do anymore to know it’s bs.

Oh yes, that is always true. But on your other comments you are forgetting something (if you read my Slots: What you should know before you play)
An RNG doesn't have to follow the
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

It only has to be random, the distribution of the results though doesn't have to be like a coin toss. In fact, it is never like a coin toss.

I realized it after I had some posts with the "what are the chances of....".
I was using the distribution of a coin toss to find the odds, the results were astronomical so it made me realize (not so long ago) that simply the RNG used different distribution.
It was one of the reasons I made that thread.

I could see after 15-18 spins exactly where this was going.
This is the first time I've nearly destroyed my laptop as a result of a bonus round that wasn't even mine. :eek2:
Dreadful.
350-odd x bet for 50 spins is vile.
Now all of you put the game on autoplay in demo and pick ANY one spin, even a losing one, and pretend from then on you are just commencing a 50-spin feature. I challenge you to work out the multiplier on paper as you go and the wins obviously, and end up with LESS than this.

For what it’s worth I’m pretty sure I’m well ahead on the Extra Chilli 50/50 opening gamble. Not over a huge number of attempts but have definitely won more than half. Expecting my luck to change any minute.

Then you've just proved it's 110% rigged lol...….:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Get ready for an avalanche of foil now because...

66+44% = 110%

lol at the maths above.
Anyway we have it set in stone now , the gamble odds are absolutly true.
Unless someone can definatly prove differently we have to accept that as being
correct otherwise BTG will in deep shit

Still not played one single spin on this slot yet, only because I kept getting an error message when trying to load it and couldnt be arsed trying it since.
Probably will do when other casinos get it.... just so I can slag it off
On certain sites I get a problem loading certain games. When I ask live chat if it can be fixed they say it’s a problem on my device. Yet I can load and play that game fine on other sites. Not sure what to make of it. I clear cache and cookies etc but makes no difference. I play on a mobile if that makes any difference.
