I decided to wager at Diamond Sportsbook because Sportsbookreview.com gave them such a great rating and figured that this was a good reason to trust them...

After a few small deposits which totaled around $300, I hit a very large parlay for $11 which payed $1,049. When I requested a cash out of course I was given the usual run around for ID, credit card copies...etc I also had to fill out a "verification" form.

This verification form was almost 2 pages long, filled with irrelevant questions like what my credit card limit was. Then the last step of this form was to trace your credit card with a pencil. This was in addition to copies of your license and credit card. I have never heard of this before, why this was even necessary baffles me. The first fax they said was no good, not clear. Made another copy, and traced the card again and faxed from another machine....still no good. A third try now, still not clear. At this point I was very frustrated and really thought they we're trying to prevent me from cashing out. The copies we're very clear and the fact that I sent from two different fax machines made me really think that I wasn't going to see a penny. I spend the entire day making copies and running around faxing them their required documents. This was on top of the aggravation of arguing with the supervisor and several other employees really made this experience horrific.

In the end I had a photographer friend of mine take pictures and send them in which they accepted. The cash out was then not processed for 5 business days, even though I chose FedEx cash out (payed $50) and was suppose to receive the check within 5-7 business days. It is now the 6th business day and I am awaiting funds.

I find it interesting that SportsBookReview rates them A+ when I had one of the worst customer service experiences with these guys in my life. I have gambled at a lot of different sportsbooks and I will never be giving these guys another penny. Sportsbookreview rates Sportsbook.com as D- and I have had very positive experiences with this site.

Is sportsbookreview.com a reliable source for sportsbook reviews?

Why do you think Betcris is a trash book?

This was an issue between me and BetCris , I'm not trying to trash them but if the matter would have been handled in a more professional way I would probably still be playing there. Basically, we had a misunderstanding and they closed my account claiming I owed them money because of an error on their part. I thought the money was a bonus, they said someone credited my account twice on a Western Union deposit. Irregardless,I lost what I deposited and what I thought was the bonus and then they wanted me to pay them back for the error. It really got ugly with their customer service so I said to hell with it. The amount was petty in my book but I didnt like the place enough to pay them for their error. Then they started offering bonuses if I deposited what they said I owed them but quite frankly the trust bond was broken at that point.

Later I find Diamond and do a little research and discover their affiliation with BetCris and the entire episode was relived with another rep. I'm sure both of the aforementioned books are A+ to many but they broke our trust relationship I didnt know what other shenanigans they might pull.

Yes and Sportsbook.com has so many complaints against them it would boggle your mind. That's why they get a D-. Please tell Bill at SBR about your experience, they would love to know about it.

I don't know how many complaints they have or have not gotten. But from my personal experience, these ratings are the total opposite when it comes to reliability and customer service.

I was so disappointed when I today discovered too late that kind of requirements before a first withdrawal. I had already deposited USD 500.
-I do not have a fax machine in use
-it would be more than enough photocopy a ID and both sides of a credit card, but they wish also a card security numbers. Are they planning to start use it?
-and purchase limit of card -question, and trace credit card with a pencil is also ridiculous.

Another method is to scan the documents and save them as pdf. I had the same thing with another book a couple of years ago. The faxes were never clear enough for them. So I scanned them and emailed them. Everything was fine and I got my money. Can't remember the book, just the frustration.

Best of Luck,

I keep hearing these horror stories about ppl playing with a rotten sportsbook ...

Guys some criteria as to choosing:

1. Make sure the company or parent company is stock listed

2. Make sure they got numerous certifications such as the UK Gambling Commission or places like eCogra

3. Go to sites like affiliateguardogandy to make sure they pay their affiliates...

However, I want to say afterwards that I haven't had any problems with Diamond since then and I think it is A+ place. (well, perhaps sportbook bonus rules are also unclear).

Well, regardless of this post and your original thread starter post, it never wavered my opinion of DSI or sportsbookreview.com, which is relatively high. Just probably an overreaction on your part.
