Betfred have been doing this for a while - They did the same to me last year when i deposited. I must of lost over 1200 Pounds and then my account was locked midway through the session. You are fortunate this happened before you started playing.

Aaron, the rep assured us he would try to streamline the verification process. Maybe send him a PM and he might be able to assist,

Asking for docs before I even contemplated WDing seems silly and not owning a scanner it's far too much headache to get docs and CC scans in prior to playing (especially since I didnt even use one yet). All in all, they came across as far more more trouble than they seemed worth

I share your pain.

When I opened an account with Nordicbet a couple of years ago, before I could even make a deposit (with a debit card), my account was blocked.

The reason? They wanted docs, DNA, my cat as hostage, my first born, etc. etc. before they would allow me the privilege of playing at their casino.

Never had this happen before - or since - at any of the numerous casinos I play at.

So, like your experience with BetFred, I felt Nordicbet came across as far more trouble than was worth.

So I closed my account, to be sent a fantastic email along the lines of .... if you ever dare try to open an account with us again, or any of our associated casinos, there will be big trouble in little China. :eek:

And all because the Lady likes Milk Tray......I mean, and all because the lady decided it was more trouble than it was worth.

Some casinos don't seem to want genuine players. Oh well. Their loss. :p

Firstly, apologies for the unnecessary runaround caused by what appears to be a number of faults in your account and website. I think there is also some confusion over bonuses, too, as IGT games sit on the Games tab and the 100% welcome is the bonus associated with Casino (which is purely Playtech content).

Please PM your account details and I'll look into it and see what caused the problems and, of course, allow you to play and enjoy one of our bonuses.

Thank you for responding Aaron. I was aware the 100% bonus was for slots (as I indicated during the chat session and had confirmed by live chat); while chatting to live chat, I was perusing the games side as well.
I'm not sure what the errors are. I'm not disputing it's not possible I once deposited in 2010 (it's 2 years ago, I simply can't recall nor swear), but a deposit does definitely not reflect in my cashier. And I didn't understand the concept of live chat first saying I hadn't taken the welcome bonus, yet was only for 'new' players...not a reflection of depositing, but rather time frame.
I'd be interested in depositing. However, I'd be curious as to whether the account would still be locked and documents required. I will PM you my account now

Well, apparently, I still need to send in documents and seeing as the CC is disposable (one time use, non-reloadable pre-paid) and wouldn't even be the same CC that I'd now have to send a scan of as the one I would be using in the future to deposit, it seems rather pointless; I'd constantly be running to a Kinko's to send scans.
Anyway, as I said, more headache than value.

Has to be the worse case of misinformation i`ve ever seen from a CS.

1). Even though most ISP`s use dynamic IP`s nowadays they will give you the same IP address no matter how long left on the lease when you turn router off.

2). Do it properly and see what happens tonight when you go to bed, start>run>type cmd, and press ok>type ipconfig>screenshot or type down your IP>type ipconfig /release, turn off router. Next day boot up router when it has assigned you an IP address, see if it is the same one.

3). Even if it did give you another IP address it will still be a Canadian IP, thus curing nothing.

4). No matter what, the MAC number of your Router is static and can never be changed, unless ofc you are being extremely naughty ;).
