Some of the 243 way slots are actually some of the best slots around for entertainment and are capable of providing very good hits, despite me not playing them as much now as when I first started. As an all- round candidate I would have to say Thunderstruck 2 has to be up there, or even Immortal Romance.
Personally though, the early 9- liners are the best so my choice would be Thunderstruck 1. Even without the bells and whistles it is still the best balanced slot around!
Actually this would be my nr one choice of now active and alive slots. Good one there NetEnt
It's too early in the morning for such hard questions!
Personally, IR. Whilst I like a lot of the other 243 way slots The Finer Reels Of Life does nothing for me. Playboy is nice but I'm just not keen on the whole theme. TS2 I like, but it really does irritate the hell out of me sometimes. IR, although it can be just as annoying as TS2 it just has that edge. I think overall it has the best package.

TS2 from Microgaming is one of the best games to high roll. But still it seems that NetEnt will be the best provider. Microgaming has chosen wrong path i guess with their games. Not so innovative anymore..
There is no way I could choose just one. No way!
Every single time I play and it doesn't matter where, I get sad when I ran out of money before I had the chance to play just a few more slots.
I also have so many favourits that I rarely have time to play the new ones
There are just too many out there!

C'mon Tiriley, there has to be one you always start your sessions with![]()

No, it isn't. It varies, and it depends on software too. I have a few that I like more than others but they can change too.
Sorry to disappoint you![]()

It changes overtime, in 2007 I played quite a bit old NetEnts such as SpellCast and Diamond Dogs, thought they had good graphics, then came IGT with Da Vinci Diamonds and NetEnt with Gonzo´s Quest (innovative at that time).
Then came Secret of the Sword- Tomb raider 2 (MG). A great slot at that time. I still consider the bonus game in this slot one of the best made ever to date. Great fun to master all continents and with secret bonuses hidden. Had my biggest win ever on this slot (8000euro).
Then emerged IR, and all those similar ones.
Now we have seen the emergence of second generation slots from NetEnts (innovative but unconventional e g Starburst, Twin Spin, Wild Water). I really enjoy Wild Water.
I also see great potential in some of the new providers on the marker including the remarkable clear graphics on the Yggdrasil slots. PlayNGo (Energoonz etc).

For me it will always be Thunderstruck.
( The nine line version, not the 243. I'd have to be tortured for nine hours with a feather duster before playing Thunderstruck 2 ).
TS1 (and its clones) might not have the bells and whistles of new slots, but if I want video entertainment I'll put on a DVD.
Nine liners are slotting for the purist.
Apart from anything else, with a classic nine line slot you can get serious action out of the base game and you're not depending on a feature.
(Contrast that with the Terminator 2 discussion thread where so many people are saying you're a slave to the feature kicking in for big wins)
Take it from me there is no bigger kick than five wilds landing on a nine line slot.
No woman, no drink, no holiday can give you that same buzz...![]()
Relax, just kidding No WOMAN?! Seriously, you have to go out more often buddyRelax, just kidding
I just don't get the Thunderstruck thingy, I find it equally boring as a 25 year old Volvo...

Ha yes I probably got a bit carried away there. Ok I'll say Thunderstruck is third on the thrill list behind Women and really good rock concerts..
But it's a good thing that an LOTR fan like yourself and a TS1 diehard like myself will never relate to each others' enjoyment.
Variety is the spice of life and people are different, which is why I get annoyed that MGS seem to only be interested in 243 liners now.
They built a relationship with 9-15 line slot players years ago when they released games like TS1, Avalon etc which were groundbreaking at the time, yet they don't want to service that relationship any more.

I would really struggle to name just 10 - there are just too many great slots out there to whittle it down to such a small number. This top ten list is the worst everbut I like it anyway. It's my longest thread on CM yet, with a proper purpose and proper name. The fact that we still have no top ten list is hilarious

Ok so I'll just throw a top ten list out there :
1. Thunderstruck
2. Jack & Jill
3. Pandora's Box
4. Trolls
5. Old King Cole
6. Georgie Porgie
7. Scarface
8. Adventure Palace
9. Ladies Nite
10. Penguin Vacation

1 - Thunderstruck 1 (the original slot, not the dodgy sequel) Microgaming
2 - Jade Idol Cryptologic
3 - Black Knight WMS
4 - Avalon 1 (the original slot, not the dodgy sequel) Microgaming
5 - Marilyn Monroe Playtech
6 - Age of Discovery Microgaming
7 - Arabian Nights NetEnt
8 - Penguin Vacation Playtech
9 - Bitten IGT
10 - Playboy (9 liner from the now defunct playboy casino, not the new MG game) Cryptologic

Never seen Cubis (Crypto) or Rubiks?I'm waiting for a genuine 3-dimensional game - in other words the reels have depth too, so imagine a 3x3x3 cube, where you can win on any side as well as through the middle diagonally and straight. Would make for some interesting graphics and reelmaps....![]()

There should be a poll quiz where we can vote.
I'm still trying to find my fav slot of all time. At the moment i'm playing DOA most, but looking for a way out of a bad streak... and checking out the 9-15 liners at MG
My fav. was Extreme made by Sherif games. The best gamer that I ever played.Sadly, they closed down.
Netent = Meduza 2
Micro = Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park had some fantastic wins on both

I like that game too, but just for the record, that is actually a Nextgen release![]()

) also looks like a game I would enjoy. Some of the 243 way slots are actually some of the best slots around for entertainment and are capable of providing very good hits, despite me not playing them as much now as when I first started. As an all- round candidate I would have to say Thunderstruck 2 has to be up there, or even Immortal Romance.

PS. I have a theory on that: I come from an FPS background back in the late 90's playing games like Quake and there are distinct similarities between the two.

Great to see some of these titles I didnt know, Net Ent always bad for me but after seeing Wild Rockets a couple of times got 600x my stake at 0.50p...good community...cheers.
