I know everyone has their favorites, but there has to be one they made just about everything right. My vote goes to LoTR -slot, I miss it so much I could cry sometimes. No, really :)

Some of the 243 way slots are actually some of the best slots around for entertainment and are capable of providing very good hits, despite me not playing them as much now as when I first started. As an all- round candidate I would have to say Thunderstruck 2 has to be up there, or even Immortal Romance.

Personally though, the early 9- liners are the best so my choice would be Thunderstruck 1. Even without the bells and whistles it is still the best balanced slot around!

We could make it a top ten list so we have some space, and IR/TSII definitely makes an excellent contribution. To keep this alive, I would like to add Wild Rockets to the list, I just love it. Don't know how many times it has saved me :) Actually this would be my nr one choice of now active and alive slots. Good one there NetEnt

It's too early in the morning for such hard questions! :p

Personally, IR. Whilst I like a lot of the other 243 way slots The Finer Reels Of Life does nothing for me. Playboy is nice but I'm just not keen on the whole theme. TS2 I like, but it really does irritate the hell out of me sometimes. IR, although it can be just as annoying as TS2 it just has that edge. I think overall it has the best package.

TS2 from Microgaming is one of the best games to high roll. :) But still it seems that NetEnt will be the best provider. Microgaming has chosen wrong path i guess with their games. Not so innovative anymore..

I do like them, but they get on my nervs sometimes. TSII's shitty wilds, and IR's occasionally 700-800 spins to the freespins wich compensates naaathing. Best soundtrack has to go to IR btw, pure genious. The only slot that plays music good enough to make it to an mp3 playlist :)

There is no way I could choose just one. No way!

Every single time I play and it doesn't matter where, I get sad when I ran out of money before I had the chance to play just a few more slots.
I also have so many favourits that I rarely have time to play the new ones:eek2:
There are just too many out there!

I do agree to some point, seems the providers quickly get stuck in cloning themselves. But giving them some credit, how much more can you really do with a slot...

C'mon Tiriley, there has to be one you always start your sessions with ;)

Got to agree with a previous comment LOTRs the original was one of my favourite and about only 243ways slot i played a lot.
But my most played slot ever and still a favourite has to be an old slot Kathmandu as its so great for boosting your bankroll, whenever im short of funds or only make a small deposit always turn to it to see if i can get my balance up before playing others.

No, it isn't. It varies, and it depends on software too. I have a few that I like more than others but they can change too.
Sorry to disappoint you;)

No disappointment here Tiriley, never. Just a bit surprised that's all :)

Secret of The Sword bonus round game / Gonzo / etc

It changes overtime, in 2007 I played quite a bit old NetEnts such as SpellCast and Diamond Dogs, thought they had good graphics, then came IGT with Da Vinci Diamonds and NetEnt with Gonzo´s Quest (innovative at that time).

Then came Secret of the Sword- Tomb raider 2 (MG). A great slot at that time. I still consider the bonus game in this slot one of the best made ever to date. Great fun to master all continents and with secret bonuses hidden. Had my biggest win ever on this slot (8000euro).

Then emerged IR, and all those similar ones.

Now we have seen the emergence of second generation slots from NetEnts (innovative but unconventional e g Starburst, Twin Spin, Wild Water). I really enjoy Wild Water.

I also see great potential in some of the new providers on the marker including the remarkable clear graphics on the Yggdrasil slots. PlayNGo (Energoonz etc).

I know what your talking about. Sometimes the bonus/free spins feature are better than the actual game. My gut tells me the new Terminator 2 is such a slot...

For me it will always be Thunderstruck.

( The nine line version, not the 243. I'd have to be tortured for nine hours with a feather duster before playing Thunderstruck 2 ).

TS1 (and its clones) might not have the bells and whistles of new slots, but if I want video entertainment I'll put on a DVD.
Nine liners are slotting for the purist.
Apart from anything else, with a classic nine line slot you can get serious action out of the base game and you're not depending on a feature.
(Contrast that with the Terminator 2 discussion thread where so many people are saying you're a slave to the feature kicking in for big wins)

Take it from me there is no bigger kick than five wilds landing on a nine line slot.
No woman, no drink, no holiday can give you that same buzz... ;)

No WOMAN?! Seriously, you have to go out more often buddy :D Relax, just kidding  I just don't get the Thunderstruck thingy, I find it equally boring as a 25 year old Volvo...

Ha yes I probably got a bit carried away there. Ok I'll say Thunderstruck is third on the thrill list behind Women and really good rock concerts.. :)

But it's a good thing that an LOTR fan like yourself and a TS1 diehard like myself will never relate to each others' enjoyment.
Variety is the spice of life and people are different, which is why I get annoyed that MGS seem to only be interested in 243 liners now.

They built a relationship with 9-15 line slot players years ago when they released games like TS1, Avalon etc which were groundbreaking at the time, yet they don't want to service that relationship any more.

Well, as long as we agree that those beautiful women, music and sex are more thrilling than slots, I'm with you. A good sign of a healthy mind I would think :D

This top ten list is the worst ever :D but I like it anyway. It's my longest thread om CM yet, with a proper purpose and proper name. The fact that we still have no top ten list is hilarious :D

I would really struggle to name just 10 - there are just too many great slots out there to whittle it down to such a small number.

And like others have said, it's a constantly changing picture based on your most recent results. For example, when South Park came out I thought it was the bees knees and would play it just about every day. But now good wins seem as hard to find as rocking-horse pooh, so it would definitely not make my top 10 now. (... well, maybe just - at no 10!)

IMHO the best NetEnt games are Evolution & Jack and the Beanstalk.
Other choices would probably be based on the ones I've had my biggest ever wins on; Ladies Nite, Baby Boomer's Cash Cruise, Groovy Sixties, The Osbournes, etc...

KK

Ok so I'll just throw a top ten list out there :

1. Thunderstruck

2. Jack & Jill

3. Pandora's Box

4. Trolls

5. Old King Cole

6. Georgie Porgie

7. Scarface

8. Adventure Palace

9. Ladies Nite

10. Penguin Vacation

Oh, stupid me. One would think I had a nice list setup myself, but being an idiot it comes with the territory :)

1) Wild rockets (NetEnt)

2) Evolution (NetEnt)

3) Immortal Romance (Microgaming)

4) Penguins vacation (Playtech) :)

5) All aboard (Rival)

6) DoA (Netent)

7 - 10 a hard one, didn't think this thru. I guess it's the few of the NetEnt's that are playable. You know: Jack and the beanstalk, starburst and so on

1 - Thunderstruck 1 (the original slot, not the dodgy sequel) Microgaming

2 - Jade Idol Cryptologic

3 - Black Knight WMS

4 - Avalon 1 (the original slot, not the dodgy sequel) Microgaming

5 - Marilyn Monroe Playtech

6 - Age of Discovery Microgaming

7 - Arabian Nights NetEnt

8 - Penguin Vacation Playtech

9 - Bitten IGT

10 - Playboy (9 liner from the now defunct playboy casino, not the new MG game) Cryptologic

Thank's, now we're getting somewhere (doing some kind od samba :)

Right now its Creature from the black lagoon. Accidentley hit max spin 10 € bet andt hit a 100x bet win hahaha

Joking aside for me its Ruby Slippers by WMS.. Withoud a shaddow of a doubt.. Its entertaining and i have been very very very lucky on it!

There have been several threads with the same question in the past, if you search for them you might find them, but of course since this is a dynamic forum, it never hurts to ask that question again every once in awhile: as KK said things change, - people's preferences do for one, and of course the fact that there are several slots from the bigger providers like MG, Netent, WMS, Playtech/Ash Gaming and IGT*, followed closely by Leander and a handful of other providers coming out every month or so, and the newer providers like Play&Go, Thunderkick and for instance BGO are also trying hard to make a name for themselves, there are bound to be changes is anyone top 10:)

Personally i am very impressed by Play&Go, they do have a knack for some copy catting, but as i expressed in previous threads, i really think they are taking much of the best from all providers and adding a little spice of their own and popping out one insta-favorite after the other (i.m.o.)

Also very keen on Thunderkick, very promising so far, really enjoying their releases too.

BGO games ditto, but so far i have seen only two (wink-wink-nudge-nudge @ Paul), so they cannot really compete yet, but i must say that both games are very enjoyable to me personally.

If i have to pick 10 now it would be:

1: Terminator 2 (MG)
2: DoA (Netent)
3: Energoonz (Play&Go)
4: The Fairest of Them All (Ash Gaming)
5: Wizard of Oz - Ruby Slippers (WMS)
6: Fire Queen (WMS)
7: Avalon I & II (MG) - bit of a cheat here but i like them equally:D
8: Classic 9-Liners, most played Agent Jane Blond and BDBA (MG)
9: Enchanted Meadow (Play&Go)
10: Jazz of New Orleans (Play&go)

And now i am already regretting that i did not include the Jurassic Island from BGO, which would probably be nr. 11, and a few Netent slots like Starburst, Gonzo's Quest, CFTBL, which would be the next few in the list, as i am afraid the slot gods will punish me with unlucky streaks on those slots for not putting them
up there:lolup:

Also should have thrown in a few games like Goldilocks, Treasure Island, Tesla, oh my, the list goes on and on :(

I have to agree with both Tirilej and KK, it's REALLY hard to pick one or even just 10!:eek2:

*don't follow that software as it is the only one i can not play due to country restrictions

This reminds me of an old quote:
Charles H. Duell was the Commissioner of US patent office in 1899. Mr. Deull's most famous attributed utterance is that "everything that can be invented has been invented."

Ya he thought that by 1899 everything had already been invented. Same with slots, we are only at the tip of the iceburg in developement

I'm waiting for a genuine 3-dimensional game - in other words the reels have depth too, so imagine a 3x3x3 cube, where you can win on any side as well as through the middle diagonally and straight. Would make for some interesting graphics and reelmaps....:D

Never seen Cubis (Crypto) or Rubiks?
Not quite what you mean, but sort of close. ;)

My all time favorite is Triple Double Wild Cherry. I've hit the jackpot on that machine 6 times. Biggest win 25K on a $5 machine.
I also like Double diamond and the 5 Times machine.

I know they are simplistic, but I have done well on them over the years.

me opinion

here me best slots
1.- basketbull (rtg)
2.-achillies (rtg)
3.-hallowines (micrograming)
4.-elf wars (rtg)
5.-inmortal romance (micrograming)
6.- blood suckers (netent)

There should be a poll quiz where we can vote.
I'm still trying to find my fav slot of all time. At the moment i'm playing DOA most, but looking for a way out of a bad streak... and checking out the 9-15 liners at MG

My fav. was Extreme made by Sherif games. The best gamer that I ever played.Sadly, they closed down.

Netent = Meduza 2

Micro = Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park had some fantastic wins on both

My Top Ten....NB I have only ever played MG and PT for real money.

1. Jurassic Park (MG)
2. Elektra (PT)
3. Dark Knight (MG)
4. Pink Panther (PT)
5. IR (MG)
6. Agent Jane Blonde (MG)
7. Great Blue (PT)
8. Playboy (MG)
9. Tomb Raider - SOTS (MG)
10. Loaded (MG)

But depending on how I am running on them at any given time, Hitman, TS2, Tomb Raider, I'm A Celeb (MG) and Atlantis Queen, Archer, Captain Treasure Pro, Sultan's Gold (PT) could all work their way int the top 10.

If I had dabbled in NetEnt or WMS at anytime, I would likely have DOA, CFTBT and Bruce Lee. 300 Shields by (I don't know :o) also looks like a game I would enjoy.

My top 10, in no particular order because I can't really say I have an outright favourite...

1. Immortal Romance
2. Starburst
3. Dead Or Alive
4. Excalibur (NetEnt)
5. Thunderstruck 1
6. Tally Ho
7. Twin Spin
8. Deck The Halls
9. Agent Jane Blonde
10. Jack And The Beanstalk

My Top 10...

1. Life of Luxury - Riches of Rome [WMS]
This slot was my number 1, it was so entertaining with the progressive jackpots.
The free spins as well as normal play had some monster hits in the pay table. This
game is no longer online WMS PLEASE RE-RELEASE THIS !!!

2. Lucky Lady's Charm [Novomatic]
I'm surprised this has not made an appearance on here. Its a great game.
Super high variance, like many of their slots. Had many huge free spins on this.

3. Money Mad Martians Cosmic Cash [Barcrest]
I find it crazy that this slot is only available at 3 or 4 online casinos. I played
this a lot when It was released in the land based UK B3 compensated market.

4. Break Da Bank Again [Microgaming]
5. Immortal Romance [Microgaming]
6. Wizard of Oz Ruby Slippers [WMS]
7. Rumpel Wildspins [Novomatic]
8. Blood Suckers [Net Ent]
9. Zeus III [WMS]
10. Wicked Riches [WMS]

Some classic games mentioned already: Immortal Romance, Cleopatra, Pharaoh's Fortune, Book Of Ra, Bruce Lee, Ruby Slippers - they've all broken ground and lasted the course. But for me there is a clear winner:

Thunderstruck 1

Still my most played slot to this day, 10 years after I first discovered it.

PS. I have a theory on that: I come from an FPS background back in the late 90's playing games like Quake and there are distinct similarities between the two.

Well, after my recent successes on it I'm going to stick Raping/Rogering/Raving/Rampaging Rhino as my no.1

2. TSII
3. Dungeons And Dragons FoF.
4. Cleopatra.
5. IR
6. BDBA
7. Da Vinci Diamonds.
8. Frankenstein
9. Wild Rockets.
10. TFROL

1. Chan Hu Chess God
2. Jade Idol
3. Northern Lights (Ancient Intercasino slot. The little touches made it great. eg the polar bear winking at you when you hit a nice win)
4. A gypsy caravan game that used to be on the old Cantor casino. Can't remember the name though I spent hours on it. (???)
5. Thunderstruck 1 and its clones
6. Marilyn Monroe
7. Sale of the Century
8. Fantasy Realm
9. Age of Discovery
10. Arabian Nights (A-ha!)

Great to see some of these titles I didnt know, Net Ent always bad for me but after seeing Wild Rockets a couple of times got 600x my stake at 0.50p...good community...cheers.

They are always bad in comparison to most providers, the way I play netent games is very infrequently and in short bursts, if you dont hit anything within a few spins I tend to give it up, when neten slots are dead they are seriously dead and even when they are not they are often paying poor. I only really play 1-2 netent games, one of them being secret of the stones and the way I play them normally works in my favour. This happened earlier for about the 3rd time the past week, I switch to secret of the stones, 0.50 spins I think and within 10 spins had 3 scatters, paid 120x, closed game, thats happened a few times this week, if I keep playing it my money just vanishes.

Top slots in no particular order are

Immortal Romance
Cashapillar
100 pandas
Playboy
Zeus (all variations)
BDBA

I still don't get it why some of you are so convinced that NetEnt games are so bad (for one's purse). Of course, it happens, those losing streaks - but the same can be said of WMS and Microgaming slots, I just don't see the difference - had some big hits on Groovy Sixties and Egyptian Heroes. To me the difference lies in playing high or low variance slot games. And of course "stepping in at the right time" helps:).

My favourites at this moment:

1. Piggy Riches
2. Thunderstruck I
3. Groovy Sixties/Funky Seventies
4. Gold (with the Eighties "Gold" song)
5. DOA
6. Zeus I
7. Myth
8. Egyptian Heroes
9. The High Life (MG)
10. Victory
