Hey guys,
Often we lose our money in gambling because we don't know WHEN to stop. Many times I've reached to $10,000 and drop my balance all the way to zero.
Coz the trick to win alot of money is to know WHEN TO STOP.
For example: Our balance is $1000.00 , we spin 5 rounds and down to $900. We spin another 2 rounds go up $1000, We spin another 10 rounds go down to $800,
It's up and down, so when to STOP ??
Any tips anyone, from a professional or experienced gambler?
In my view, one has to learn something from every experience with gambling.
All of us have been in situations like the one you describe, and the way i have come to look at it is this:
If you hit big on a game, its very easy to think "whoa here we go its gonna pay out its on a streak" and, as a result, up our bets and keep pressing in expectation of that streak. However, in reality, that streak almost never happens. My experience tells me that it is very rare to hit 300+xbet wins, so when I do hit one, I realise that its probably even more unlikely that its going to pay something like that any time soon. How many times have we hit a monster and given most of it back by pressing our bets? As a result my aim is to preserve as much of a big win as possible by:
1. Not taking bonuses too often and none with big WR.
2. Cashing out immediately after a big win (if possible) and leaving 2x my original deposit to play with.....believe me, it makes you adjust your thinking when you have a much lower available balance. In fact, I try to play like I did before I hit big, which has prevented me playing back most big hits over the past five years at least. If you really like to press bets, then maybe leave 3 or 4 x deposit to play with.
3. I set a cashout target of 5x deposit i.e. when I deposit $50 and reach $250 I cashout $200 and keep playing with $50. I then cashout $100 each time I reach $150. It's not for everyone, but the way I see it is that you know have 4 new deposits that you can use somewhere else on another day (working on a $50 deposit average). In addition, you still have some funds left to press your bets and you don't get that awful feeling of losing the lot. A new and new deposits bring a fresh attitude and can prevent "chasing"
4. Request for each cashout to be flushed, or at least play where the pending period is no more than 24 hours. A casino who doesn't offer at least one of these services is hoping you will reverse and lose.....don't give them the satisfaction. NEVER EVER REVERSE. Yes, you might win more, but the vast majority of the time you will lose. After all, remember how hard it was to win it in the first place?
5. Have a list of material items or holidays or projects that you would like to spend money on and stick it to your monitor. When you have a nice win, spend a set % of it on something from your list. At least this way if you deplete your bankroll later, you have something to show for your win.
There's other little things I do but I'm sure I've bored everyone enough already. It works for me, but you need discipline.....and imo if you don't have any, you shouldn't be gambling.
