Banking issue in US

Well, I said "software evaluation and testing" when questioned once at a cheque cashing place.

But I don't have the same concerns as US players. I did tell the DHL (courier) driver one time when he asked that it was a big fat check. He was wondering since he makes a number of them (was from Casino Rewards) and he said everyone was always happy to see him, and he had been wondering.

so your saying tatoo if my bank asks me what navajo networks is i should say porn. ?? oh goodness is there another option here??? lol

I recently tried using my debit card at Rich Reels and to my surprise it went through. I deposited 3 times and then it stopped working and my bank put a hold on my card. When I called them to ask them to activate my card the lady on the phone would not do it until I admitted it was for gambling. I told her my ex must have done it. I havent been at the forum much lately, is this what has been going on?

i have a question . i want to know if my bank questioned me about my ewallet transactions what would i say navajo network is?? is it clothing. electronics or indian merchandise. ??? my transactions at times in a month will state about 6 to 7 transactions to navajo networks. they might think thats a lot of merchandise for me to be buying in one month. havent been asked as of yet but dont know exactly what i would say if i ws caught off gurard

All you need to say is that it is a purchase of merchandise from eBay or something similar... don't give out that it is an eWallet, because that's a red flag and will likely cause your assets there to be frozen while they conduct their "investigation"... but if the transactions are rather small, and you don't cause overdrafts, I see no reason for the bank to question it, especially if it is ACH - debit cards I can understand, but if it's ACH, you should be OK.

I know you can wire out to WP but what about NS.....they provide a routing and acct# that I use for DD all the time.....and usually a casino asks for routing and acct # when withdrawing.....so my question is can you send to NS or not I have not tried so I dont know:what:

NetSpend doesn't accept Wire Transfers... If you tried to use the acct/RTN numbers for a wire transfer it will be rejected and returned to the sender. The RTN/Acct numbers are for ACH deposits... Not many casinos (if any, for US players) do a direct ACH transfer anymore, due to the complications it would cause if the payment processor was located in the US (which is where the ACH transaction must originate from).

What you CAN do though, is this...

1. Cash out to UMW/QT (or wire directly to Wired Plastic).

2. Wire it to Wired Plastic.

3. ACH it from WP to NS.

It's a lot of money moving, but worth the hassle to avoid detection.

Edit: You may be able to even do an instant load on NS from your WP card. I haven't tried it yet, but there is an "Instant Bank Transfer" option in netSpend that allows you to fund it directly with a debit card from a checking account. I'm unsure as to whether or not this works, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Hiya: The other day i just flat out asked the managers at 3 different banks, "I have a friend who deposits money into your bank from internet gambling, what do you do with the money if you KNOW it is from On-line gambling?"

All 3 said the same thing, "As long as it Clears, we do nothing". Maybe if you are having banking issues, you should move here to Vegas?.......;)

If US banks stop or seize a transfer prior to December first of this year, it will NOT be because of the UGIEA. The UGIEA does not go into actual effect until 12/01/09.

Maybe you guys should all open a bank account here in Europe in Luxembourg at the post office. I know it sounds crazy but you can have an account there (since you will not have a working contract, its easier). Just get something that you are registered here in the country. Say you will be back in 6 months and going away on vacation back to the states and voila. And get a prepaid card hooked up to that account and do the transfers online within seconds and pull it out at the ATMs in the US. Where it's legal in Europe do to this.

Every month have a wire sent too you, and since it's out of the country you pay no taxes. Hell you can always gift it too yourself and what not. :)

Ghost.

P.S. Then again this would only be worth it if you won large amounts of money all the time and had a bunch of transfers. :)

So far, I have never been asked by my bank or check cashing place, where the money came from, nor has my bank ever questioned a transaction or wire transfer. I've been with the bank for 20 years and they all know me, so don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. However, I have wondered what my reaction would be if I was questioned and I've decided I would go down fighting. I'm a grandmother of 7, mother of 3, and I've been married 40 years, so bring it on. What are they going to do to me? Freeze my account? I pay my bills and remove any extra, nothing left to freeze. Don't they have to notify you if they're going to freeze your account? Here they do, so it gives you time to remove money. I am so irate about having to even think about this at my age! So much more important things to ponder and worry about in life. So, be smart, be careful and be brave!!

I just received a letter from Chase deposit investigation and they informed me that as of 11/01/2009 that they are closing my account and any transactions after 10/30 will be declined.

They also stated they didn't have to give me a reason but was giving me the courtesy to let me know that they were closing my account. I really did like Chase bc they have banking til 6 p.m., you could deposit at any time and it was credited instantly and they have banking on Saturday. I do have two other checking accounts but this is a bummer.

I'm definitely not going to ask them why they're closing as I already know it's got to be those quicktender deposits and withdrawals.

I just started using NS and wished I had used it sooner. I'm tired of all this crap trying to have fun online...I think it's time for a long break or at least until it's legalized.:D
