Bryan, this is a very good and imaginatively thought-out initiative, creating an effectively endlessly spiralling sum by squaring off an infinite number of operators against each other. It would be IDEAL if a good group wins the bidding, but that's just a nit-pick, brought to the fore by the general atmosphere of dislike of rogue operators but still a nit-pick in the context of the thing. I was not going to mention anything to save the man some embarrassment, but after Bethug's banning last week, he tried to sabotage the auction at least once this weekend with fake bidding. When I confronted him about this, his reply was:

There are several others who are privy to this as well.

It's hard to believe that this is coming from an adult who sells real estate in Southern California.

There was another attempt to screw up the auction by malicious bids, but I'm not sure if it was Damian or not. I couldn't really care less.

I think some of these comments are coming out of a perspective that has been hanging around the messages boards a bit too much.

For one thing, Spearmaster stated that if you don't like who's bidding, then contact your favorite casino and have them bid - bear in mind there are a number that are waiting until the last day. Spear and I are making this available to casino operators, if you have another plan to drive a large amount of money from players or portal owners, then knock yourself out. But in this situation, to complain that you don't like who is standing up to the plate, go find a different batter. I'm concerned about knocking the ball out of the ball park - not so much on who's hitting the ball.

What are you talking about "If two wrongs don't make a right, does one wrong and a bigger right make a right in the end?" I don't follow your logic, sorry. Supporting criminals? Who is more of a criminal, players who defraud a casino and post fraudulant complaints in forums, or casino operators who shut these players down? That's a rhetorical question not to be persued or answered in this thread, but I will be glad to answer this in another.

Further, this auction is not about ebay and publicity, and I'm happy as hell it's not onebay since I am able to waive any seller or bidder costs. I am also able to weed out any fraudulant bids (there have been two already). This is not about publicity. Everyone who needs to know about this auction, knows about it - and they know where to find it. And anyone who wants to act as a spectator and cheer their favorite team on knows what to do as well.

The fake bids were particularly irresponsible and nasty, and clearly the most potentially damaging of these actions.

The site is rather like a naughty little boy spraying insults on a school wall, and about as effective. Damian, you need to remember that you are representing people in your capacity as the President of the OPU - you're not just an eccentric individual any more.

This is not creating the right impression of a balanced and reasonable adult, and you need to put a stop to this ridiculous behaviour before you harm your reputation any further.

I have donated what I could to UNICEF and I hope that it in no way helped a criminal organization. I did my research on UNICEF and it appears that most of the money does not got to the CEO or other expenses, but to the people we want to help. I did my research on Crystal Palace and it appears that they are dishonest. So with all due respect, I will donate it a way where my giving does not have the reciprocal effect of hurting others, even if the others are not in as great a need. I will leave it at that other than to say that when you run an auction on ebay, you can cancel bids. Cancel rouge bids, it is simple as that. Then the charity wins and innocent players don't get burned.

I just clicked that casinomeistersucks.com and I can say the following:When we judge people we do not define them but rather we define ourselves are someones who need to judge,label people.If you dont like casinomeister you have the option to not visit.Also in this occasion i can see a lot of hatred coming out from some individuals.That tells me that if hatred comes out from then that's whats inside them.It's the same like when you squeeze an orange.What comes out is always juice because that's what inside.

I watched TV last night after I got the juice back and saw a report on the disaster areas - absolutely unbelievabkle, the devestation and misery.

We all need to kick in here - I chose to do it through Neteller because it is most convenient for me.
