Never heard of them, but if they advertise on TV or other Irish media, do you have an advertising regulation authority similar to the one in England, where you could complain that the advertising of the bonus was misleading, and lured you to spend 100 Euros under false pretences?

Even if there is similar rules and regs to England regarding unethical advertising practices, it appears by the OP`s statements that the bonus T&C`s counter-balance this by the good old tried and trusted -`Our final decision stands`.

Some info on ATR:

ATR is a Genting casino licensed with Alderney (
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
)

The Genting group is an accredited group here although /this/ casino specifically is not on that list. I have absolutely no clue as to why- but I'd assume its an oversight.

It might have been worth a try to PM the rep for the group: ( https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/ ) but since you've asked for an exclusion from the casino already, I imagine you've already made your decision on them!

Hopefully, that helps! :D

At The Races Casino - powered by Genting.

This could be a white label issue.

You may already have claimed this bonus, or similar, at another of their "powered by Genting" white labels. They don't list them, so it is hard, if not impossible, for a player to determine whether this is the case, other than finding "powered by Genting" on the website.

The bonus is advertised as being for "all new players", so to claim it is by invite only, and doesn't have to be granted to a new player, is misleading advertising.

Ireland is not in the list of countries prohibited from claiming the bonus.

The software is Playtech, and such problems are common because they have a central database. You could have been "blacklisted" by ANY Playtech casino, whether or not connected to Genting, and this would cause your account to be flagged as "bonus abuser" by Playtech almost the second it was registered. Since this database does not exist officially, but the Grand Duke let the cat out of the bag by explaining why they took a similar course of action with a new player, the casino would rather burn in bad PR than admit there IS a central Playtech database of "bonus abusers" that can be tied into any casino's registration procedures.

Many Playtech casinos automatically assume ALL British players are only there to abuse the bonus, and thus may have confused Ireland with the UK and classed you as "British", and thus only out to abuse the bonus. This is a particular problem with Playtech white label casinos, which are often run using well known brands by license, rather than actually being run by the branded company, in this case Genting. Many of these white labels seem to be run from a call centre in the Phillipines, and data about players is shared between them all, and easily, since all are run from the same offices.

You would get better service from one of the Playtech casinos listed here in the accredited section. They are run by experienced operators, and are not white labels run from some call centre on behalf of some company that has bought the rights to use a brand, and farmed the running out to a call centre in the Phillipines, Israel, etc.
Incidentally, William Hill casinos has little to do with the William Hill bookies you might see on the high street. It is another of these branded white label casinos, and is run from call centres in Israel and the Philipines. The company behind it is called William Hill online, but William Hill only have a part share in it, the other partner being Playtech itself. Even this arrangement has not kept it clear of controversy, as it seems William Hill themselves have only limited say in what happens, even when the actions of it's branded online offering damages the main brand of high street betting shops.

You could even find the nearest Genting land casino, and give it's manager a piece of your mind.

This is not the first time a complaint has been aired here about one of the Genting online casinos, and it seemed quite a surprise given the esteem in which this brand is held when it comes to land casinos.

There could be alot of reasons but the issue is none was given (Our decision is final) AND THAT WAS IT.IF I had another genting ACC (I DONT) WHY NOT JUST TELL ME.I live in Ireland so it cant be a country issue and if I had another 400 ATR CASINO accs (I DONT) JUST TELL ME.The no reason and dont ask about it anymore was complet Ignorance by the casino and if they treat a new player like this god help the rest.

You get this bullshit quite a bit with Playtech, and because they are white labels, they don't really call the shots, this is down to that company in the Phillipines that runs most of them, and has that certain big database of "negative value players".

In all likelihood, your details are on this negative database, so as soon as you registered at ATR Casino, your account was flagged as "serial bonus abuser", hence no bonuses are credited, and all CS can see is "this account not eligible".

It could have been ANY Playtech casino, not only a Genting one, that put your name on this database.

To narrow it down, think of any Playtech casinos that bonus banned your account, accused you of something, or where you simply had an argument about some issue.

Whatever they say, they MUST have found your name on a blacklist, otherwise they are trying to have us believe they have "super powers" and can foretell the future that if given this bonus, you will abuse it.

Have you ever played at William Hill casino, or any of it's associated sister casinos that were originally bought from a now defunct rogue operator?

Consider yourself lucky, they could have asked you to post copies of your documents to the Phillipines had you won from this bonus:(

If you have regularly self excluded, they shouldn't even have let you open an account, let alone deposit and lose €100 in the hope of getting a bonus.

You should NOT self exclude just because you want to move on, as this can get you flagged as a "problem gambler", and you may find ALL casinos blocking you from playing. If you HAVE to take such steps on a regular basis in order to stop yourself from overspending in every new casino you join, you may well have the beginnings of a problem.

The uninstall usually prevents the "immediate gratification" of an urge to spend too much, as first you have to reinstall the casino. For most, this is enough to exercise restraint, as well as keep the hard drive uncluttered.

Closing an account isn't really hard work, it is just that casinos like to make out that it is because where a player closes an account without there being any indication that it is down to a gambling problem, the casino does their best to stall the process in the hope of persuading the player to change their mind.
