At what bet level are you guys hitting your randoms on RTGs?

I hit Prince of Sherwood at Cherry Red a few days ago betting $2. I've also noticed others have hit at the level. Anyone hit at $1, 40c, 20c, etc? My win was $40000, which has been authorized but I'm just waiting for the wire. Also, does anyone have any observations about any activity before one hits, ie, get's looser, tighter, etc? For me, it seems the lower bets take me nowhere but a pretty much guaranteed loss.

Since the inception of the random jackpots I have hit 3.

Caesars Empire playing at $10 ($2700)
Aladdins Wishes playing at $1 ($1200)
Lions Lare playing at $1 ($1800)

My husband hit Derby Dollars for $6300 playing a $1 and I hit Ronin for $6600 playing a $1. Nothing noticeable before the RJ hit...it just did and it was pretty:D

Did you win 40K off 2$ bet? May be it was Rushmore by any chance... Cherry Red does not have them that high as far as i know...
Anyways, i was curious how much one needs to bet to hit 40K , i guess now i know. Congrats.

Wow, I can't believe how many players we have here who have actually hit these things. And in some cases, more than one. I've never hit one, and doubt I ever will. I seldom spin over 40 cents max, usually it's 20 cents. And honestly, I don't even look at them. I never pick a game to play because the RJ is high....I just play whatever game I feel like. Maybe one day I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Funny thing is....I don't play progressives at MG either. I've always found they are money eaters, with very little return unless you hit the jackpot. And the odds of that are astronomical.

I only hit it once and i expected the slot to be burning hot when it's about to happen. Nope, it actually was not hitting well at all and was rather boring. Then it started to hit a little better, i raised the bet to $2 and voila... :D

Yeah, Prince of Sherwood was a bit tight, then I got a nice hit, don't remember exactly what, but it was somthing like prize 50, 20 free games and a multiplier of 4. I had been betting $1, but I hit almost $300. I then raised my bet to $2. About 20 minutes later, BAM! It's funny because my wife told me I was gonna hit the random. She didn't act the bit surprised when I told her I did...she was like, I told you so. LOL

And, you're right the only really big jackpot I see at CR is the jackpot cleopatra, now over $144,000.

wow, that's amazing...

my bf had a dream that he won a jackpot and i hit it a week later. I told him to keep dreaming...

I hit Enchanted Garden for $6,800.00 playing $10.00 a spin. The funny part was I was on auto play putting my phone back on the charger. I heard I hit something but didn't think much of it. Sat back down and must of spun another 10 times before I noticed my new balance, and the random jackpot down to 1k...

I mostly play Double-Double Jackpot Poker, and Joker Poker... When at $5.00 max bet it's always a long grind with large ups and downs. But when I play at $25.00 max bet I seem to have greater success quicker. Problem is I usually don't have the deep enough bankroll to maintain that level. I have to catch first at $5.00 level to give the $25.00 level a fair chance. And maybe it's just psychological but usually after spiking 4 of a kind, I stay with the same game for another 15-20 minutes and I seem to catch another 4 of a kind. Then give it the same time again. If another 4 of a kind don't come, I sign off and wait 10 minutes, then sign back in. Probably don't matter but seems to work out for either a larger bankroll or a slow death giving tons of action... I actually play those two games looking for the four of a kind spike as the main winning formula. Royals are far and few. (Hence my screen name here...)

I have seen triggering bet on about 60 RTG video-slot random jackpots.
0 was at 0.20/0.25$
1 was at 0.40$

Rest was 1$+

What surprised me was why there was so few 0.20$ triggering bets. Of course a 0.20$ only has 1/5 the chance of hitting as a 1$. Assuming RTG uses the propertional bet-size probability that most other providers does.

But maybe I am one of the few that plays minimum bets, it seems that way from the data.

nuther question, folks. What happens if a freebie player hits a big RJ? He's not getting paid, we all know that, but what happens to the jackpot he or she just wiped off the board?

I'm not concerned with that with CR, but I am one of the very few who have played some other RTGs, who's names will not be mentioned here, but who pay me. Unfortunately, two of my favs give out free chips all the time and Im sure most people who claim these dont follow the rules.

Depends on where you play.....the good RTG's will stick it back in the pot....but Virtual, etc will probably just pocket it.

I have managed to get a random jackpot twice within a couple of months. Both were when I was playing Goldbeard. It was only $1100-1300 on $2 bets.
Since it's 4 years ago it happened I think it's about time I'm lucky soon.

I've never won a RJ at RTG, but usually I don't bet more than $1 (usually less.) If they'd let me win ONE then I'd bet higher and mebbe win another! :D

Actually iNetBet is always mentioning 'soandso won a RJ on a 20 cent bet" so I guess it's possible.

I hit mine at 45c but I have played perhaps a Million spins at lower stakes and never hit One so I think you need a small miracle to hit at below 45c.

If you have not won One betting $1 a spin and play regularly I would say you have been unlucky.
On the upside you are "due"

I have hit 6 random jackpots-3 at bodog-2 on raindance, 1 on Honey to the Bee; 1 at club world on Archilles; 1 on jackpot capital on green light, and 1 on Inetbet on Honey to the bee, four playing $1 and two playing $2.

I remember an old member here, Lojo, he won two randoms in a space of a week betting only 20c per spin and that was at inetbet, it can be done on small stakes.

the thread should still be around somewhere if someone cares to find it and see what was said there.

I think one reason I've never won is that I don't stay playing a game if it's not paying....I'll do like 5 -10 spins and if it's not paying out I go elsewhere. So unless I happen to get REALLY lucky and win a RJ in my first few spins (happened at Sands of the Caribbean) or happen to hit a game that's paying out enuff for me to stick around when the RJ goes...otherwise I'm SOL

I remember that, except it wasn't Lojo same_old, it was our charm school friend Mike031 aka Audioz (and another username I can't remember).

But yeah, they were on a 20c bet, and they weren't small jackpots either...one was around 20K I think. Just goes to show, when you're lucky...you're lucky. Don't think there's anything more to it than that.

Amount

I thought I read a while back that there is no correlation between amount bet and winnning the random? In other words, a $20/spin better has same chance as 20cent/spin better. It was written that they are triggered for a certain numbered spin, no matter what the bet is. True?

FYI, I hit one random - $14k+ on a 40cent spin.

Dont believe everything you hear or read, random jackpots RARELY go on 20 cent spins and the imes they have i believe they have been `allowed` to go and probaly for purely promotional reasons at that. If people believe they can win on a 20 cent spin, stands to reason many more low rollers will deposit, in this im fairly sure that the occasional one is allowed to slip through the net, but this is NOT the norm. In this we delude yourselves. I have no fact or stats to back me up on this claim but its logical and it stands to reason. This is a money orientated society we live in and casinos are NOT going to give large jackpot prizes to pittance depositers.

I remember a few years back where a guy claimed a free chip from Virtual or somewhere like it. He hit a random of over $6000 and was waiting on his cash in. I wonder if he's still waiting? LOL
