Some of you may be aware of this , but astrophotography is a bona fide hobby of mine, and I recently got some new scientific equipment to hone my skills a bit. I thought I'd share with you some recent shots of mine - and hopefully, there are other forum members who are into it as well.

Waxing moon 23 Aug 2018 - 720mm F/7 ISO 800 1/1000 sec. Nikon D850.

Very purty ;)
I acualyl learned something new recently - some of the stars we see in constellations are actually galaxies - did a whole lot more reading. Less boring than one would think (and very humbling)

And the Andromeda galaxy. As fall progresses into winter, I hope to make this one of my pet projects - weather willing.

What kind of equipment are you using to get these pics? I'm sure it's not only the camera you're using. I love astronomy and follow everything that NASA does and waiting eagerly what TESS finds and James-Webb after that.

Wow, great pictures Bryan. Very cool hobby, you could turn them into wallpaper (in your house):)
