IF you play Lucky Nugget, Gaming Club , Riverbelle, Jackpot City etc.... You will notice in the winners area in the promotions section and also in the winners circle a lady named Tina P in the UK winning like between 100,000 pounds and 500,000 pounds or more every day? How does a person win so much money? Especially as the games she is playing are 0.01 cent and 0.05 cents. She is constantly winning on Burning Desire game, yet the max bet is $2.50 . Are these people even real? I shake my head every time i log in and see her smothered all over the winners area.....sigh~ Maybe im just jealous lol

It depends how often the winners are updated, I used to think some of them were made up (until my own name showed up but nothing like the ones you described.) and I am sure some dodgy casinos would do this, but most reputable ones will not.

BTW the max bet on Burning Desire is $1 per line = $250 not $2.50. $2.50 is max bet at only 0.01c This goes for all Microgaming Slots, most go to $1 plus per line.

What of course you never see is how much these people deposit/spend/playthrough to hit these monster hits.

I've been playing online for probably 10 years maybe give or take - and can count on one hand the number of times I've made the 'Winners Board'

Progressives excluded, these sort of players/amounts are very much the exception as opposed to the rule.

There's been a few monster players/hits passed through these boards though.

Off the top of my head I remember Simmo! has landed a couple of five figure monsters, VinylWeatherman obviously - and I have a vague recollection of an Intercasino progressive over Christmas one year for CheekyMonkey.

I have no proof, but my personal feeling is that these "winners" are either made up, or are created in a "dodgy" way;
e.g. I think some casinos would say that if a player put $10,000 worth of bets though a slot and ended up where they started, the casino would still say that player "Won $10,000". This is not strictly a lie, but it is VERY misleading. :(

In the past I studied the lists of winners at a lot of casinos, often looking at months or even years of 'big winners' and I found a surprisingly large number of repeating names at many of the sites.

I came to the conclusion there must be quite a few bored millionaires sitting there repeatedly clicking Max Bet for hours each day, it's only natural they'll regularly hit big wins :)

Tina P is a "name" from the past!

A long--long---long time ago when Microgaming could be played in the US, I was a big fan of Gaming Club, and I would notice even then that Tina P often was a winner.

I sort of remember that this was a "place holder" name for those who wished to be completely annonymous (or something---like I said it was a LONG time ago). Anyway, they indicated that it was not a real person.

I know for a fact that a certain (previously) flash MGS casino connected to allslots was using BS in their winners marquee at the top that scrolls across as you play.

Reason I know this is that they were stating wins that were impossible to hit e.g. 576.07 on GameOn, 862.43 on Ski Bunny where the min bet is .10 and prizes are multiples of your bet so odd cents aren't winnable.

It's clear they were just putting made up names with random games and random amounts to make it appear there were heaps of winners. Incidentally, the info did not change from day dot

It kinda explains why they chose to move to that God-awful excuse for software that they have now. Totally clueless.

I think it was River Belle that used to have the term that if you won something substantial playing there you agreed they could use your name and have a model portray you on their website. I don't know if they had their own models, but if they were buying the pics from stock photo sites, then the whole "Cindy H won $xxx..." would look totally fake. Understandable that most people don't want to have a picture of themselves with their real name online, especially if they just won a bunch of money.

contest

This reminded me...Do you remember when Riverbelle had the contest where it was a story writing contest? It was several years ago and USA players could play. The storyline started about the riverbelle at dockside and a woman and man were getting on the boat....the boat pulled off and the woman was shocked....The first chapter started like that and each week players sent in a chapter and for so many weeks...each week someone won then each week you continued the story from the previous weeks winner. Each week a player that won with his or her chapter won 10k. I did the last chapter and won 10k. When I logged in I saw Linda M from USA....A few minutes later the phone rang and it was them calling me to congratulate me. I almost fell out. Ahhhh...the good old days!

I can just picture

Jason V won 1 million dollars. He plans to spend his money upgrading derelict summer camps.

Hmmm which picture to use

Hey - great story - well done!

The Gaming Club was my first introduction to online gambling - they really knew how to do business back then. They even had a monthly magazine sent through the post. I think it was called 'Cool Hand' off the top of my head.

Ahh... Loads of good hits back in the day.

If in doubt ask for proof, no proof = fraud.

I used to think like that till I won about $70k plus from them ... I have seen my name quite a few times up there. Sometimes the slot keeps paying and you could be there for days playing it ... I had 3days in a row on Cashapillar and when I drew it out it was 19k. A lot of the ones you see is the amount they are pressing collect at ... So it could be days.

I asked my VIP manager the same thing about a lady called Linda S , who was there each time I logged in and I was losing... Then within a few weeks I had about 3 places there myself. And then i pressed 22.50 on a machine with all the casino names on it .... Cant remember the name to save my life (edit: BELLEROCK!!!)and i hit about 68k ...So, it can happen.... Just hang in there.

I have no doubt they are real, just high rollers hitting big on slots. If a player wins a 1000x bet on a slot at $25 a spin and wins $25,000 then it will be posted as such on the site, what they won't post is the $50,000 they spent trying to hit that win :D

I've had my name up there too so at least some of them are legit. Also, if they were to make stuff up, one would think that they'd use different names and different games, not always Tina playing Burning Desires (which is a horrible game by the way).

i had my name up there also and i,m a low roller i think i won off a 20 deposit.

i was also in their gambling paper. it was cool i still have all the pic lol.

it was over $12,000

The "winners" are probably the players who make the largest deposits LOL
