Another casinomeister?

I found it a couple days ago and forgot to mention it - it's weird though, I was on my laptop and I typed in the name wrong so it came up with a google search with some suggestions, and that site was actually above yours! :eek2:

The .de no longer seems live, I get "cannot connect".

Google then asks if I mean casino-meister(dot)com, so I try it, and up pops Mybet, but a German language version.

To double check, I type www(dot)casino-meister(dot)com into the browser - same MyBet page yet again.

To TRIPLE check, typed same into different browser, Chrome - and yet AGAIN the German language page for MyBet comes up.

I get the same - if you go to mybet(dot)com and click on the german version it doesn't go to that domain though. Maybe Bryan needs to talk to them as well.

 BTW did you know that the domain casinomeister(dot)ca is actually available? I was going to buy it, but I don't want to get hit on the head.

Edit.

I tried to type in casinomeiste.com (without "r" at the end) and "Bet365" popped up :)

One of those fake landing pages. It is an EXACT copy of the genuine site, so I began to think it was an official "mirror" site set up by MyBet.

Maybe this fake landing page is where links from a spamming campaign end up, and what's the betting the spam emails misuse the Casinomeister trademark in order to induce recipients to click through to the fake landing page, and if they have heard of Casinomeister, induce them to think this is an official endorsement of the operation by Casinomeister.

Since MyBet is in baptism by fire, it should take care to avoid sitting on this fire by taking swift action over this.

It is possible that this affiliate thought up this trick after finding out that MyBet had just entered the baptism by fire, and hoped to make money off the back of it.

If so, he clearly hasn't been around CM for long, as he would have realised that there was a very high risk of him getting "busted", and rather than making a fortune, he would risk losing one though having his affiliate account sanctioned in some way.

For MyBet, one of my pet peeves is casinos that don't say what software they are using. Fine if I recognise it from the advertising on site, but hardly inspiring confidence if I am not sufficiently familiar with the games to identify the software.

I think this oufit was offering both Net Entertainment and Chartwell Tech games, along with live dealer action from a studio in the Philippines. The poker is on the iPoker network, with the whole licensed by Malta’s LGA.

It is understood that the owners are Personal Exchange International (PEI). There have been reports recently that the operator has been confiscating winnings under suspicious circumstances, and SBR downgraded the site to a D early this year.

<sigh> another douchebag that needs a spanking.

On the bright side it does seem many are willing to take advantage of the reputation garnered by this site. I hope you dont mind Bryan but you have limited time and resources and cannot step up too much marketing effort to promote this site. This site is a prime site for players with a reservoir of info on online gaming and will help many players, whether they are newbies or just lone players. The accredited casinos should take an active role in promoting this site for their own good. Actally, I hope that soon at least 30-40% of online players know about this forum and dont get ripped-off by those rogues.

Looks like casino-meister#com has been around for a while but just recently updated.

Updated Date: 21-sep-2011
Creation Date: 16-sep-2007
Expiration Date: 16-sep-2012

As for www.casinomeiste,,,,,,,com it does not seem to have aff tags at all (that I can find) and is not registered to Bet365 as far as I can tell.

'casinomeiste.com' has an affiliate tag to it. They just cloaked the url. The afftag is: hxxp://casino.bet365.com/?affiliate=365_077615
