Ok here is my story...
I was e-mailed an offer for American Grand casino. I then called them and spoke with a male supoort person. I asked if this was a new casino. He told me they use to be 5 Roses casino. I then told him that I had an account at 5 Roses casino. I asked him if I signed up at this casino now, would I be conisdered a new player. He said I would and then gave me the coupon for the new player bonus. I then made a deposit and collected the bonus and played black jack and called them up again to make sure I had met the wagering requirements. The male support person said I had and I could cash out and would be paid. I then waited a few days and nothing. I was then asked to send in documents such as a utility bill and license and did. I then waited a few weeks and nothing. Finally I tried to log into the casino and they had locked my account. I tried to call them a few times and was put on hold and no one would talk to me about what was going on. I finally contaced Montana disputes. Told them my story and this is the reply they sent me.

An update has been made to dispute 3003Comment: Dear Thomas, Final findings are in favor of the operator. There is sufficient evidence to support that the accounts Tdoggy and bigtom belong to the same person. This is a violation of the terms posted on the casinos website. You are allowed ONLY ONE ACTIVE ACCOUNT. Winnings will only be paid to players having ONE account. If you have more than one account, all winnings will be VOID. Thank you, The Player Dispute Team

I knew I had an account with 5 Roses and told them that. They said it was fine to sign up here as a new player because it was a "NEW" casino and even gave me the bonus. And now they wont pay me! This is not fair. They should have to pay. If they didnt want me playing they should of never gave me the coupon for the new player bonus or approved it. I bet if I had lost the bonus and the deposit there would be no problem.

I PAB but there wasn't much the Casinomeister could do.

What am I supposed to do record phone conversations!!!! I
Thanks Casinomeister for at least trying..... :D

Hi all,

I edited the above posting removing the operator's name. Reason being is that the operator is not manning the phones nor responding to customer emails. Simply put - he is not directly involved in this complaint, so the name is irrelevant. Names of operators are not drug into other complaints, neither should it happen here. Thanks for your understanding.

The problem with this issue is that there is no record of a conversation. This should be a lesson to everyone that when utilizing a casino's call center get a confirmation email detailing any agreements.

This is one reason why I do not do much business over the phone. Sure I'll blab to people, but if there are any agreements made, I gotta have an email.

Montana ruled in favor of the casino in this case because of this. If they ruled in favor of the player without tangible evidence showing that an agreement was made, it would open the door for anyone to claim that they were told something over the phone, yet it didn't happen.

Protect yourself - get everything in writing.

PS: You should have received your deposit back. I'll check into this.

sorry

:( Casinomeister sorry for naming the operator. My bad. Ok thank you for looking into it and trying to get at least my deposit back. And thanks for all your help. Going to take a long time to get over this one. I won 900 fair and square and they screwed me. But like you said you got to live and learn. And learned I have

And Kasio King I wish I would of! I didn't research the casino well enough and paid for it. When on the phone I asked who the manager of the casino was. The customer reps reply was I'm not allowed to tell you. That should of sent a light bulb off in my head!

Wow, you sure got screwed man. Looks like new casinos need to be avoided too, just in case they end up being an old one with a new name. Doesn't leave many after all the shonky slow payers, bonus abuse criers, and ID quibblers are eliminated.

:)

How very true......
