After becoming disappointed in the way virtually all RTGs have been playing for me this past year, I ventured over to Bodog. I said before that I wouldn't play there, but for some reason I decided to give it a go. I know some of the games still run on the old RTG platform, which Bodog has the source code to, supposedly. What immediately grabbed my attention, was how much playing time I got on what I deposited ($150), compared to the other RTG's I have been playing. There was a deposit bonus of 15% applied to this deposit, but I went to live chat and requested the bonus removed. I played for a whole week on that money. I could have withdrawn about $300 total at one point, but I went chasing a couple of random jackpots, which I didn't get.

The following Monday, I logged in and there was a comp in my account of $15, which I ran up to $500 on Witches and Wizards, then decided to go chase some more RJ's. Not their fault, but mine for being willing to take that risk. Oh, well...I'm sure we've all been there.

Today, I sent off an email because I wanted to know specifically what my payout options are, being from the USA. I wasn't sure about accepting a check or Mypaylinq. They have another option called "money transfer" and I wanted more specific information on it. Not even 30 minutes from when I sent my email, I got a phone call from a nice lady, who explained that my future withdrawals could be sent to me by Western Union and I could pick up my money in person at any Western Union location. This was pleasing to my ears. I was very impressed with this prompt customer service too.

So, there are 3 perceptions I have:

1. If I win, I can get paid easily

2. Customer service is great, so far

3. I feel like it's possible to win there, which is a refreshing change

They just sent me a 50% reload code with a 20x playthru and it has no max and from what I see, it does not say non cashable.

Am I crazy, or is this a very good casino? How fast do they pay?

If you were able to get all that from an RTG (love the Western Union option:thumbsup:) I may have to revisit them. I've never really played there. Thanks!

Well, I just confirmed by phone that the bonus is cashable, once wagering is met. I never normally expose 100% of my money to a 20x rollover requirment for anything less than 100% match, but I think I may try it, since I can cash out everything. I think there is a fee for Western Union, however.

If it is nominal I would do it. Anything below $70 is practically a gift anymore....the fees the processors and casinos are charging is ridiculous.

I don't play there anymore, but it was always on my shortlist of favorite places - payouts are nearly as fast as 3Dice, and yes, the Monday morning comp (some % of last week's losses) always made Monday mornings something to look forward to. Once verified, which was admittedly a bitch, it was always smooth sailing. People here complain, for what reason I can't figure out, but it was my favorite place to deposit, esp. because they had the poker room, as well. The deposit bonuses are relatively new - they didn't have those this time last year.

I really miss Bodog.

Did you get on a losing streak, or why did you quit playing there?

Even if you request a check, you will receive it faster then most other rtg's send you e wallet payments.

Good casino, also nice that you can play poker there and bet on some sports games all with the same wallet.

Well I decided I would give Bodog another try...I have deposited there several times and never got any playtime...However, I have always felt they are very reputable..I know I see Bodgo Becky in the forum quite a bit..One thing I do remember is how slow this casino is to download...I will be waiting all night for it to install....Hey but maybe I will be lucky:D

Thank you for the positive feedback, I will send this thread directly to the Bodog Casino manager for his review. :)

Also, just to clarify the RTG situation, the casino software licensed to bodog brand licensees is no longer accurately described as the “RTG Casino” product. BodogBrand acquired the rights to the RTG Casino source code in early 2007 and since then the product has been significantly enhanced and has undergone continuous development. Today, the casino platform licensed to the Bodog brand licensees is effectively a wholly proprietary product.

Thank you very much and please let me know if you have any questions,
Becky

Becky, thanks so much for coming into this thread and posting! Could you suggest to the engineering department that they make it possible to press the space bar to spin the slots. Other than that, I can think of nothing else and look forward to playing again. :)

When it comes to feedback, You don't get too much of this variety?

Enhanced is a matter of perception I guess. "When someone says something is better, it's usually just their opinion" Here is one, "I have enhanced the color of this font" Well, I can't read it any easier, but it's been enhanced none-the-less.

Besides 3 dice, can u think of another example where "proprietary" is a good thing? I had the most incredible first month there. And cashed out one time since.

You see, I'm in a different camp than you. I have 120 deposits under my belt at different RTGs. I don't see how my game can be any worse. Since it was recently revealed that there are settings the operator can use on an individual basis, I've jumped ship. My gaming these days is much more casual and for less $$$. Lesson has been learned. My experience at Bodog, so far, at least means I might get to have some fun for my dollar, which is far better than a quick 15 minute whacking at the other joints. ;)

Since you are winning , I assume there is no 'individual rtp settings' in play. In that case, it must have been introduced post 2007...?

I also see you mention the 120 'losing' deposits again. I dont believe for a second that you had NO opportunity to cashout during that time - in fact, given you had opportunities to cashout at bodog already and haven't, it appears your previous losing streak had more to do with discipline than 'individually rigged' software.

You are saying bodog has better payouts based on a few deposits which isnt nearly enoughto make that kind of judgement. The losing streaks will come just as surely, and your rtp will most likely be roughly the same in the long term. Why not ask the 'rigged' casino to provide a personal rtp? Ill bet its a lot closer to the norm than you think especially when you add in the $40k in jackpots you won. Deposits vs cashouts is NOT an indication of rtp.

My pleasure! Good news- the space bar feature is already on the Bodog Casino road map to add to future slots. :)

Thanks and please keep the feedback coming,
Becky

I've not taken a bonus at Bodog, but have everywhere else most of the time. Problem has been in not being able to make the playthough ahead.

Same here. The bonuses are the problem.
My last cashout from any RTG was 13 months ago now.
Cannot for the life of me clear a WR.
Came close at Manhattan Slots a month ago, but with only $500 playthrough left and a $260.- balance the RTG black hole opened up and I still ended with nothing.:(

And I know bankrollmanagement, I know variance and what games to play at any point during the WR, and I'm a very defensive player, I cash out whenever I can.
I dont know exactly how many deposits, but its close to or over 50, not counting the freebies.

If I just compare the results to MG or Rival, where I also take bonuses, the difference is shocking.
Its that small chance of hitting a random that keeps me coming back, but only when I have a healthy Neteller balance, and deposits will be 80-90% less than what it used to be.

I'm sure its just a run of bad luck, but once you get to the point that you can no longer enjoy the games, its better to switch to other software.

Maybe I should try Bodog in the future, bonusfree, but not until that spacebar is activated!;)

Say what??? I'm not saying it's totally out of the question, but I've never heard about this...do you have a link or anything to back that statement up?

Becky can you see if you can get them to add quicktender as a deposit and withdrawal option

I think it is a good sign that players are complaining about not winning.
If you look at it this way; non-payment complaints are far worse.

The good casinos always have player complaints like this.

It is kind of like the end of the road for casinos.
When the casinos get their act together and iron out all their other problems what else is there to complain about besides the poor RTP?

oh yes, please. i'd like to try the casino. my problem is that no umw, no play for me (cuz that's option is the only one i have.)

Now how am I supposed to complain about non-payment if I cannot win in the first place?!?!:D

But I forgot to say, the bonuses are the problem.
Too high WR, non-cashable..
My results would have been far better if I had not taken the bonuses.

The enticement to take bonuses for me has been that if I don't I won't get to play very long. I'm working on forming the habit of not taking bonuses and I think my results will turn around. Truthfully, I believe the casinos and players have become too accustomed to bonus play. I know we are better off not taking them and getting fully cashable comps on our play instead, even if for a smaller amount than the bonus would have been. Wouldn't it be much nicer to hit a grand, then be able to cash it right off? I know, I'm preaching to the choir, as this is not a new concept. :D

I forgot all about that casino. I do not think I even remember my log in details anymore there. I have had horrid time at the other rtg's. One thousand gone this last two weeks, with no playtime. After that run, I am taking a break.
