Bottom line insofar as discussing player issues goes is "yes, DOA". They won't cooperate with the PAB process -- after all, that's what scuttled their bid for Accredited status a while back -- and that pretty much ends the conversation. From what I can tell they believe they are big enough and rich enough that they don't need to bother themselves with things like the PAB process, or any player issue they don't wish to discuss, etc.

As I see it players are left with no option but to vote with their feet, and there's no argument quite as poignant as money walking out the door. Sometimes that's the only message that gets through.

You're trying to gain support in a public forum, that's easy as Nifty has pointed out. Take a cell video, or cam video of you logging into your 888 account just like you've shown in the OT. Show us a 77 year old player and we can go from there as to whether you got ripped off or not. JMO

Watch the video from the beginning till the and there is no conflict in true balance. Everything is ok with the video, You must watch carefully if you wan't to understand what's going on and only after that try to give me some advice. I couldn't get past the first five minutes. There needed to be a narrative so I could figure out what I was supposed to be looking for and what the complaint was exactly about. The video was a waste of time.

I'd like to see a video of granny playing perfect strategy with a live dealer for a prolonged period of time - alone. No grandson telling her which cards to keep or what to fold. If this person is serious, it can be done by morning's end. Since her account is locked at 888, she can open one up at 32red, Betfred, Bet365, etc., right now and use their live dealers. That would be acceptable.

That's the excuse they are using, but the REAL reason may be something I noticed in Max's warning.

•a player filed a PAB against 888 -- they had been ejected from the casino for "employing a gaming strategy" -- and when asked they submitted the requested signed statement.
•through the forum rep -- who acts as the go-between to the casinos and/or head office -- the casino's reply was "operations have given their answer to him and it won't change".
•we said "thank you but we need to see the case details", they ignored those requests.
•when asked why they were not honouring their agreement to discuss the player's case after the requested statement had been provided they said "there was no point".
•after many attempts to get them to state whether they would discuss the player's case or not they finally replied (again, through the forum rep) "due to the fact that the issue was resolved they are not willing to share any details on this issue".
•the player reported that 888 hadn't bothered to contact him, never mind offering a resolution. Presumably the casino people mean that they "resolved" it to their satisfaction. Hardly the same thing.

What got their attention is the "system" you have been using, increasing bets after a loss. Add to this a belief that this is the Grandson playing on the Grandmother's account, they can not only eject you from the casino, but confiscate the money.

Their evidence for this seems to rest on a confession they claimed you made in an email to them. You should still have all the emails you sent, and it would be interesting to see the one they believe is a confession. If this confession evidence can be refuted, 888 have nothing substantive to base a confiscation of the winnings on. The fact that your Grandson acted as your English translator just won't fly on it's own (except for the GRA maybe). If they come up with a different reason for non payment, that won't fly here either.

Since a PAB isn't the way forward, the PAB rules don't apply as they are aimed at helping the operator deal with the problem in private between themselves and the mediator. 888 don't want that, they are not interested in a mediated solution, they have decided what is going to happen, and are going to stick to it.

What makes this tale hard to accept is the idea of a 77 year old Granny as one of the best disciplined advantage players around, and with the monetary means to high roll in 6 digit numbers. Your confidence in playing bets as high as you do means you have been playing for quite some time.

Although 888 has locked you out, you could still demonstrate this by having your grandson take a video of you sat in front of a PC playing high stakes Blackjack at another casino. It would show that you are capable and confident enough to do this. The screen videos show the gameplay, but not who is doing it.

Your story about the video was that your grandson did them, so they could not demonstrate any actual bets as he couldn't risk losing $100 on your account.

This is bollocks because,

1) You have $130+ in there, so losing a few hundered bucks to prove a point is nothing to you.
2) Screen recorder doesn't care who is playing, so there is no reason why YOU could not play your account once your grandson had started the screen recording software.

You are here to warn others, far from running away when the going gets tough, surely you should be making every possible effort to shoot down every piece of "evidence" 888 has used against you. If you can destroy all their evidence, you will have PROVED that they have simply made up a load of bullshit so that they can rob you of $100K and make it look legit.

What is also suspicious is that we know this is the grandson typing after having translated into English, yet what we have here is an emotional outburst that does not seem to have benefited from the calming down expected were the outburst to have been fired at the grandson, and then translated, and only then posted. It looks more like the grandson really FELT the emotions, not merely translated them for grandma.

This only goes to support 888's case that it is the grandson using the grandmother's details and funds to play blackjack. This goes beyond merely providing advice and translation, and is against the terms of not only 888, but every single casino out there.

It is a shame that 888 don't cooperate with PAB, as if they did they would probably be proved right, whereas now we think they are probably right, but there is still the suspicion that they might have pulled a stunt on you because of your "gaming strategy" since they have a history of "pulling stunts" rather than paying other players who appear to be using a strategy at the tables.

This. Pretty safe to assume at this point that we have a classic case of a guy using his grandma's credit card and informations to play. Like Bryan said earlier, grandma is probably in the kitchen baking pies and have no idea of what's going on here.
