5000 lb. Shark washes ashore

26 foot long. Unfortunately dying within a short time but what a creature. Simply amazing. The video shows just how large he is compared to the folks on shore.

Always sad to see these great creatures, which are so majestic and harmless out at sea, washed up lifeless like this.

A few months ago a very large pod of pilot whales mysteriously swam ashore at a bay close to our place and despite the efforts of the locals to save them only a few survived.

It was really disturbing to have to watch them keep swimming ashore even when refloated.
