Good Morning, please let me introduce us – we are 4ThePlayer.com a new casino games startup based in London.

We are a bit different to all the content providers out there now, making games from a player perspective. Being players ourselves we know what is frustrating and what we like! Expect great graphics, brilliant math and big win potential.

We also have lots of innovative ideas to make games more exciting and entertaining. We focus on quality over quantity – we won’t be releasing 20 games a year - much less. Each given the love and attention they deserve, also players deserve.

The company was founded by Andrew Porter and Chris Ash then joined by me – Henry McLean. Some of you might recognise the names as we all worked together as the original team behind Ash Gaming many many years ago – Chris being the Ash in Ash Gaming, Andrew being the math and Head Product guy, I ran the marketing.

Our first games are starting to go live later this year:
  • 9K Yeti
  • 100 Bit Dice
  • 1 Left Alive
As soon as I can share more details I will give you a run down. We are just doing final deals with platforms (where the games go onto before going live on a casino) so cannot share too much info until them. Although we have a little more info on our website.

Look forward to posting more soon :)

So you all got fed up with Playtech and left to start 4ThePlayer?!
114243

Let's hope you don't end up being taken over by Playtech. They seem to buy studios like candy, the more the merrier. :D

Tough times ahead in this cutthroat business. Your first game should be spectacular to get any attention from the very spoiled player community! Any Playtech diatribe and you won't find many fans.

Are you planning to set-up a marketing area on your site with downloadable logos/screenshots/game sheets/demo links etc without the hassle of needing to register? I have dozens of registrations and I am getting slowly fed-up with doing it. :D

Welcome!

When you say you'll do things differently, is there anything specific you can point towards? Im sure most providers would say they focus on the player, and I've never heard anyone that makes games say they focus on quantity over quality.
Not making 20 games sounds good though, I appreciate that!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

To answer a few of the questions:

Yes, we are working on one now, I have heard from a lot of people that they are fed up with registrations  Out of interest anything, in particular, we can provide to make your life easier or any pet hates other than registration :D

Sorry, I can’t show you exact examples yet, when I can share games hopefully you will see exactly what we mean. We also have lots of innovation and I don’t mean innovation for the sake of it. Innovation that improves the gameplay, making it more immersive, exciting and action-packed. We are also going to talk directly to the players - after all, it's you that play the games!

Thanks for your prompt answer Henry :)

The main things I need are logo horizontal and stacked (if the title is long), both without background, then a game background screen or other scenic shots to create the game cards and covers (first is 500x500, the second 1900x444), screenshots, game sheet and demo link.

I don't like to use a common 500x500 card because it looks the same on all sites and if possible prefer to create my own stuff. :) .... Especially when UK-focussed they have to be as neutral as possible to please the UKGC.

Usually, I do game reviews 4 - 8 weeks before release, so the demo link is pretty important to get a feel for the game. But we are not always blessed with the luxury that early, so until I get the links I write the review using my experience and/or game sheets and then add the remaining part later.

Yep, we have got all that covered it has been thought about from day one.

Especially when UK-focussed..

We are committed to 100% adult design, no childish themes or styles - it's really important to us!

The confusing coin stuff is nonsense IMO which hardly anyone understands instantly.

Thanks, will take a look.

I always wonder what company's really mean when they say 'from a players pov' etc, because literally every company out there says the same stuff, "we're different" blah blah blah - but they don't explain how and then they do the exact same thing as everyone else as far as I can usually tell. Obviously there are developers who introduce new features and stuff sometimes but for the most part it's the same.

Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with, especially the more adult slots - not adult in that way, obviously haha. Unless your making another Playboy type slot?

Oh and if you are taking requests I really like slots with more of a story element to them. Cheers!

Totally understand on RTP, pleased to confirm the RTP of our first games:
  • 9K Yeti - 97%
  • 1 Left Alive - 97%
  • 100 Bit Dice - 98% - 99%

I like it like that! :)

I agree with the previous comments on info. Clarity in your game info.

I like the look of your portfolio. Would like to try some games when ready and my feedback will always be honest.

Thanks for giving us the chance to be involved!

One thing I urge you to do when people open the paytable. Please display current bet on top and the win values in real money. So people can relate directly. Here's a perfect example:

Yes, that particularly annoys me too. Paytables should be dynamic and show the wins in relation to current stake. Some developers actually do this, i.e. represent the pays in the same way the RNG data is delivered such as 1.5x, 5x etc. Best though is the cash amount. The worst you ever saw are the Red Tiger ones which are so convoluted they even provide a formula in writing to 'help' the player work them out!

Do you think that many operators still rely on sorting casino lobbies alphabetically, and what do you reckon a supplier could do to take advantage?
Appreciated, and good luck guys!

Every casino lobby is different, we design our game names to stand out and be different from all the endless ones out there.

Appreciated, and good luck guys!

Thank you!

The current value being in the paytable deserves emphasis for sure - I'd also say don't drag the paytable out over like 8-10+ different screens to individual click little arrows through. Having the info in concise, digestible screens is so nice and not having it is very noticeable.

Please, please, please dont have your games set up so that any form of accidental big bet can be made by clicking from the title screen.

Its cynical and some of us have itchy trigger fingers.

There is a game, cant remember which, but both my pal and i have been on it and been caught out the same way. Something to do with the coin level being more prominent than the actual bet information and neither of us realised until we had done a few spins that we were betting bigger than what it obviously seemed.

Its just not cricket.

Totally agree, we want players to have good experiences not accidentally placing large bets without meaning too - that is just not right! We are slots players ourselves so things like this we really understand.

gl
just hope in the end there's variety in them rather than the 3 zillionth book of dead clone, games ranging from low to very high volatitily/variance and a line range from 9 to all-ways

no need to re-invent the wheel though some innovation is always welcome

peeves here:
a max button so close to spin it's too easy to click
defaulting to a ridic high wager, rather than min, and choosing to bet up
muddly confusing dashboardsa..ex wheres info, is that 50 cents total or 50 cent stake per line

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you some more information on our first two game releases

9K Yeti (Release Mid November)

115023

This is a 4,096 ways game themed around a mount Everest adventure to find the mythical Yeti.
The name comes from the max win of 9,012 x your bet and mount Everest being 9,000 meters high.

The main feature of the game is the free spins with Snowstorm feature. The number of free spins awarded is determined by the number of Footprint scatters you get. The more footprint scatters the more free spins awarded. You can get up to 88 free spins initially and they can retrigger giving a maximum of 880 free spins.

115018

During free spins, a Yeti symbol combined with an Everest Wild triggers a snowstorm where any losing spin is swept around the reels into a guaranteed win. I love this feature as it makes the free spins more exciting, hopefully preventing that endless run of non-winning spins.

The game also features our innovative Big Reel Portrait Mode, this makes playing portrait in mobile a much better experience as uses 60%~ of the screen rather than the 20%~ games do now. To do this we have stacked the reels and they spin right to left. Nothing else in the gameplay or features is changed just the reel presentation.

115019

Try it and you will love it – it’s a much more immersive experience as it makes better use of the screen. The game also has classic play if you are a stickler for tradition ;)

This game is going live on the 14th of November - anywhere that has Yggdrasil games will be able to take it. I will give an update exactly where to play nearer the time. For more information check out our website:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

The RTP is 97%

100 Bit Dice (Release early November)

115020

This game is something totally different.
I don’t know how many of you are familiar with the Crypto/coin space?

This is a version of the very popular Satoshi Dice/Crypto Dice game. However, the big difference is it's reborn for real money, on RNG in casino. We also spent a lot of time on the UI making sure it was intuitive and easy to play on mobile.

You simply set your bet, drag the slider and place your bet – roll under or over, Green or Blue. Watch as the dice roll and the outcome is displayed.

115021

The game features all the stats and data you would expect to find in the coin version as well as some interesting autoplay options.

115022

The game is going live early November. Anywhere that has Relax can take it, again will list exactly where soon.

The RTP is 98 – 99% (the average is 98.94% with a random bet configuration).

I will save the last slot of 1Left Alive for nearer the time as that’s not till December.

The Yeti game looks good. Just hope it does not end up being abominable :eek2:

Good Morning & Happy Halloween!!

I can now also share with you all a video for our next game - 100 Bit Dice!

RTP is 98 – 99% (the average is 98.94% with a random bet configuration).

I mentioned it before on the thread but just to recap....

Have any of you played with Crypto games? This is a version of the very popular Satoshi Dice - just on RNG in 'Real Money' Casino.
You simply set your bet, drag the slider and place your bet – roll under or over, Green or Blue. Watch as the dice roll and the outcome is displayed.

This game goes live on 5th November 2019.

Any questions let me know, thanks :)

Hey! How come the RTP is a range and not just set? My experience with crypto games is that the expected value ends up the same, just up to you how risky or safe you want to play. This looks similar to me so curious to know! My guess is how you round up/down.

Brilliant question and glad to see you have seen this type of game before. There are a couple of reasons for the RTP range:

1. Crypto currencies can divide down into minute divisions e.g. Bitcoin's smallest division is 0.00000001, Euro's smallest division is 0.01 (1 cent) so rounding applies more on real currencies.

2. In this game, we are proud to offer the player the opportunity to take the bet on either side of their chosen value, not commonly done in crypto dice games. Some chosen values, however, would result on one side of the bet having exactly 99% RTP and the other side having a significantly lower RTP. In these cases we adjust the chosen value so that it as close to what the player wanted but ensure very similar RTPs whichever side the player decides to bet on, this means lowering the RTP slightly but ensures that there is no bad choice for the player to make. It is worth noting that if you setup the game randomly each time and chose randomly which side to bet on your average RTP would be 98.94% so the adjustment in the vast majority of cases is insignificant.

Never even heard of Crypto games and ive got a bit of cryptocurrency to offload, might as well use it on games instead of my bank balance. Where can I find out more about them?

Depends on the type of game but if its dice games, like our game, take a look at a site called 'Dice Sites', they list quite a few sites that are popular. Need to say obviously the site is not related to us. Good luck!

Quick question regarding Yeti. Has it been tried on a chromebook? I only ask because i have one and newer YGGDrassil games give screen freezes on the animation making them unplayable. Ive only found their games to do it and just wondered as you mentioned the link?

I know i shouldnt have been a cheapskate but really didnt anticipate these issues and its strange its just them.

Like the look of that game though.

Another question - will there only be one RTP version at that rate? i.e. will we need to check for lower versions on different sites?

I've been playing the 9k Yeti and it isn't bad actually, 912x max win, it's 4096-ways and instead of multiplying wilds in the FS like the Rapist has, you get a modifier when a Wild and Yetis are on the screen in a non-winning spin - they move position to guarantee a win. 88 FS for 6-scatters, maximum of 888 FS in any one bonus round. I shoulda made a video of it but too busy atm.

Glad you like the look of it :) 9k Yeti is being released now with one RTP.

Chromebook - interesting, could be the performance of the device. I will see if we can look into it and if get anywhere let you know.

Great to hear Dunover, from you that is a compliment ;) Did you try Big Reel Portrait Mode?

As soon as 9k Yeti is released will let everyone know, so you can try it for real.

100 Bit Dice was released today, has anyone had a play with it? Although I know you all prefer slots.

@4ThePlayer-com - Which casinos is it available at? Please can you list them all?

EDIT: I found it at Rizk Casino. So I suspect it will be at all MT Secure Casinos. It uses Yggdrasil Platform. So I also suspect it will be at the majority of casinos that have Yggdrasil slots.

I don't see it at VS

VS take time. As they only add new slots between 11am-4am every weekday, not at weekends. They also only add between 3-6 slots per day. So I suspect it might be at VS tomorrow or next week at the latest.

Had to post straight away. I was excited to try this @ Guts and get 6 of a kind Yetis after about 30 spins......

Screenshot 2019-11-15 at 12.21.32 PM.webp

Nearly 150x......

Couple of things, so it does seem to play ok on my crappy chromebook except for I have no sound. Have checked in settings and my own settings but cannot solve. Just mentioning in case you get more similar feedback.

Also had a 6 of a kind just before.

And finally, cancelled autoplay to try and get the Yeti screenie but i was too late, the spin started but didnt complete because as I cancelled the autoplay it reverted back to this......which was the winning screenie I was after. Thing is, I thought I had dropped another 6OAK Yeti. All other games I have come across see out the spin once it has started.

Chuffed with the win, thanks! off for the bonus!

That is awesome, well-done @bamberfishcake thanks for sharing! Hope you hit the bonus soon and manage to find those elusive Yeti's there too.
