Auditing for 3Dice?
Greetings,
I've been watching this thread. Enzo seems like a generous and helpful man. A likeable man. I trust him and doubt that he has any motives other than to be an ambassador for his casino. I have no reason to doubt the fairness of the software at 3Dice.com.
I have a simple request to make of him and 3Dice.com. This request seems natural and will settle most of the matters brought up recently in this thread.
I believe 3Dice should hire a company like Price-Waterhouse-Cooper, ECogra, or Gaming Associates to audit all of their software. To avoid a conflict of interests (because of this post), I ask not to be the auditor. By reference to their web site, I can find no token for an auditing company listed.
3Dice may consider making the RTP (return to player) for various games public, but at the very least, they should have a seal of approval on their site from one of the top named auditing agencies on the planet for all of their games.
Their software is proprietary and in-house, as far as I know. That does not mean it is not fair. It just means that it needs to be audited, at least once, by an independent third party company and the results of the fairness test should be made public.
Many on-line casinos post some type of statement about the return to player (RTP) of their slot machines. 3Dice should consider this as well. High "variance" means that most players lose small amounts at the expense of a few big wins. But the RTP is what really matters for their slots. Hopefully that will be disclosed, and it will then give 3Dice a competitive position in the marketplace that is known.
For the record, here is the fairness statement in the FAQ at 3Dice.com:
How can I be sure the games are fair?
All software has met strict criteria to guarantee fairness for our users. In addition each individual game (hand, spin, etc.) is recorded in the Casino Server and is easily accessed by our Customer Support Team at your request.
with best wishes,
Eliot
