It's a little better than the odds above because you have your draw, something like 1/40,000 to 1/50,000. Considering someone will typically play maybe 300 or so hands per hour, that's still quite an accomplishment.

The one time I ever hit a video poker royal flush a few years ago I ended up losing it back - whoops. Combination of a bad decision and some bad luck (starting with "i just want to play this slot game until I get a single winning spin...")

But the odds you gave would probably work if we're talking about being open dealt a royal flush in multi-line videopoker. Some casinos offer 50 line video poker at $.50/coin - that's $125 a round.

Multi-line video poker, especially 50 lines, is usually a much lower variance game, that's why casinos might let you make such a big bet. If you hit a royal flush on one line in a jacks or better game, that's $10,000. A nice win but shouldn't be unusual for a casino. If you get open dealt a royal flush - and hit it on all 50 lines - that's $500k, a freak hit like that might be enough to break a small online casino.

Thanks bro. Man to be honest with you, I have no idea. I hardly EVER play poker. The only reason I played this time is that when i logged on I took a look at the 3Dice Zeitgeist(however its spelled) and it said that RTP was highest on video poker at that time...So off to video poker I went. Chose the game 'Bonus Deuces Wild' because I like to play with a wild card, I like Deuces, and Bonuses arent so bad...seemed like the logical choice. LOL Go figure my win didnt have a deuce in site. If it had, it would have reduced the win a sheetload! I have heard of people also having good luck with video poker at Slotland and Bitstarz.. I think i remember her saying that she plays with live dealers at BItstarz...

the poker on 3dice is the best anywhere. I have only hit a Royal twice in my life anywhere. Both times were at 3dice. I have been running really bad on 3dice lately though and will probably stay a way for a while until my luck turns. But yeah, the poker is great there.
