hello

recently I have been playing a feature slot called "The High Life" at 32Red

over a few sessions in the last 6weeks the following results.

Amount Wagered on this Slot: 16,900
Number of Spins on this slot : 20,000 or over
Expected Average RTP according to 32RED = 95.7%
Average RTP paid to me (according to 32RED) = 92.5%
Average RTP paid to Me ( according to Me) = 86%

I deposited various amounts up to a total of 1050 and only once did my credit balance rise above 25% of the initial deposit amount to make a withdrawal worthwhile. which i didnt. I last played it on Friday and in two sessions the RTP% was 44% and 77% over about 700 spins .......is this normal then for an online slot game ....after 20,000 spins to be well below the "average expected RTP" ( which i have worked out at 86%)
32Red agree its below the average and not normal but said the game is working ok and I was just unfortunate. ?? and offered 20 free chips to show that they care...
16000 wagered and the conclusion is 20 free chips
was i just unlucky ? and is 20 free chips enough
i havent dealt with 32Red for long but im getting a feeling of been ripped off really.
any experienced players out there think should i complain and is there any point?

You are complaining about losing in super high variance game with biggest house edge (slots). LOL.

Play card and table games if you dont like variance and if it has to be "video game", then you should consider video poker for better long term payouts.

Your score in that slot is well under terms of normal variance.

Poor

It's poor, however this is a 5 line slot, and this makes the variance a little higher. Some slots are worse, it depends upon the occasional high win to get the payout back to the 95%. Slots such as Thunderstruck tend to rebalance from the occasional very big win, often over 1000x bet. In Thunderstruck, this would be getting wild hammers or 4 Thors in the free spins, which would pay nearly 1000x bet on it's own. 20,000 spins can go by without hitting one of these nice wins, and this can cause the payout to drop to the 90% level.
Betting lower helps even out the variance.
During the Casino Action tournaments I spin Thunderstruck between 0.18 and 0.45 The big wins can yield around 225.00 from a bonus round with wild hammers, and corrects all the lag in payout. If the hit does not come, I find the payout can drop even lower than 90%, although the tournament prizes help.

Firstly, it's got nothing to do with 32Red...Microgaming is Microgaming....period.

Second, if it's any consolation, I had an absolutely brutal weekend as well. Several deposits and on only one of them did I get over my original amount. 400-500 spins with no bonus round was quite common this weekend. Avalon, Kathmandu, Thunderstruck, Spring Break, Bush Telegraph, Tally Ho, Life's A Beach...the list goes on. I hit NOTHING......and I mean nothing. The last couple weeks have been the worst I can remember for quite a while. But it goes in cycles like that. Maybe a month or so from now, I'll cashout once or twice. When you play slots, it's to be expected....especially if you are just continually playing one game.

In Thunderstruck, this would be getting wild hammers or 4 Thors in the free spins, which would pay nearly 1000x bet on it's own. 20,000 spins can go by without hitting one of these nice wins,

..and the rest. Haven't had those in years - at least 100,000 spins at a punt

Anyway I agree with the concensus, medium/high variance slots give these long streaks and it's go with the flow. I've had many worse sessions than that one...though I prefer to forget!

Thanks for the info that "High Life" slot has 95.7% payout. This fits perfectly in the picture with 95-96% for all the MG 5-reel slots.

If 32Red is right with 92.5% then this is actually not that bad a run. It is still below the expected 95.7%, however for high variance games there will be a very few winners and lot of losers, so the majority(90%+) of the players will be below the average.

If you are right with 86% I would agree it is a very bad session over 20000 spins. But nothing to raise an eyebrow for. I have had VP sessions on JoB
with 90% payout over 10000 hands (4-play).

And as other players wrote, slots are designed to do this. Already now there is probably 99% chance that you are doomed forever on this slot. Playing same bet forever will never bring you even again. Personally I never play slots without a 50%+ cashable bonus or clearplay bonus. (unless I am reviewing new slots)

Zoozie

Yep, if you're betting 90 cents a spin and hit four wilds on SB or Thor, it pays $200. So in the free spins, it would pay $600....just over 600X bet. I think I've gotten it twice....once on Spring Break and once on Thor. Both times was a whopping 18 cent bet though, lol. Still paid $120, I was happy. :D

oh i see, you were talking about free spins even.
Uff. Would be glad to see them in normal mode once - or should i say : i exchange "the right" for 5x4 into 5 wilds once (tripled of course) :) ?!

I agree with the hammers, hit them several times tripled and these hits for me are at once cashouts every time.

btw: The weekend was horrible, as some others have said before.
MG cashing in the development costs for hitman?

Yeah, lean period here too. I'm playing a lot less though - so maybe I'm expecting too much from the short (er) wagering? Haven't been able to hit a thing in ages.

That "The High Life" can be a nightmare - pretty boring slot to do that amount of wagering too! :eek2:

As Pinababy said, it's Microgaming that dictate the payouts/odds etc - not the casino operator. At least with 32RED you're guaranteed a response, and some statistics etc - a lot of casino's wouldn't even bother. Also, they're under no obligation to comp any losers, although it does make good business sense in the long run to do so I guess.

If you're going to continue playing - stick with 32RED! You'll get exactly the same game you get at any MG casino and at least when you DO hit that nice big one - you're guaranteed to get your money quickly and with a smile! :)

Good luck!

gotta say my experience at 32 red has been pretty crappy I usually go to real casinos and play slots ..i set aside an amount each month (which i usually and accept to lose) but laid up at moment due to motorcycle crash so thought id give online a go..... what a dissapointment its been, the amount that normally lasts at least a month has lasted less than a week and in less time than i spend at real casino ....and .....no beer or Jack to make it more enjoyable as i lose my money..........left with a feeling of been fleeced.... a very empty and unexciting way to spend hard earned cash. I think next month i will just get up put the cash down the grid outside and go back to bed ..........more enjoyable than giving it to 32Red, thats for sure.

I dont blame microgaming as some have done, but 32Red ...if MG are the software provider then im sure its up to the House to set the odds or weigh them to a certain RTP% as they dictate to MG , not the other way round.
just as real casinos can re-chip their machines or ask the supplier to chip them as they like.

and anyway ive decided to go for the outside grid option next month because i reckon it will take longer to walk to the grid and back to bed than to lose a grand at 32Red ......more value for my money .....get a bit of excersise as well.

Slots have 95% payout right?
And someone somewhere will have a big hit, and win about 2,000. (And that isn't unlikely, not like hitting a 1M progressive or something).

So where does this 2k win come from? Well, everyone else's losses.
The machine is set to average 95 over everyone, so if you don't win... chances are you won't break even and hence you will end up getting a lot less than 95% return.

Win... Lose... it's all down to luck. That's the nature of the beast!

If you want a bankroll to last a bit but expect to lose it all anyway, try Single Deck BJ, No-Zero roulette, or 4 hand JoB VP.

Sorry, but at MG the casinos cant do anything about the payouts at their games.
Not even with slots...
Its different at RTG, but we are talking about 32red.

so basically what your saying is thay MG controll the net profit for all the casinos that use their software? I was under the impression that MG were the supplier of the software which is bespoke to the needs of their clients and the software can even keep track of individual players down to every spin. If MG control the odds then they must own or have an interest in most of the online casinos available, which means they are all the same with the same odds?

not the profit... only the payout ratio.
and: yes: All MGs are equal, of course some are more equal, but this a question of quality, not of winning chances.
And 32 red - not telling anything new - is by far the best in all relevant quality criteria.

If you don't like losing, then don't play slots so much. Especially not without an upfront bonus. Save your money until you get betteer then go to a casino where you'll get real comps if that's what you're after.

does anyone like losing?? i know I dont, but I do accept that if I gamble I will lose, and i do on a regular basis. but I like to feel that i have lost playing a fair game at the odds advertised or suggested, and i do play slots at casinos and will continue to do so, but not online at 32Red because their slots do not pay as they should or even anywhere near as good as a real casino, whichr they suggest they are comparable to. and its no point blaming the software provider instead of 32Red because its 32Red to whom i Gave the money to be provided with the worst experience i have had to date whilst gambling and i have played for over 20 years, at casinos here and abroad and this is the first time i have felt the urge to complain about it.
and then to be offered 20 chips and to be told its very unusual for them to pay this low a RTP% (which judging by the previous posts it is not unusual at all) and i am just Mr unusual and unlucky is patronising Bull**** ,

crappy casino , blatant rip off and crappy patronising customer service,

aghh thats better.
gotto take my chill pills now.

its really weird how the RTP% increases in jan and feb and then just seems to go lower again in april onwards for a few months until it settles for 6-7 months.
just cant seem to figure it out.......maybe i should gamble on shares instead

ive heard 32Rip oops sorry 32Reds shares have doubled in the last month

now thats a good RTP%

You don't have to lose - but I know some people don't mind as long as they get their entertainment.
I've been playing & winning consistently online for 6-years, but my bonus-hunting low-rolling style does not suit everyone.

The main problem with your experience at 32Red was it sounds like you stuck to just one slot. I don't think I've ever played 'High Life' myself, which probably means Zoozie gave it a really bad review making it sound crap.
The key to winning is to switch between slots to find the ones you like best, and have the will power to stop & switch when you are ahead.

BTW what bike do you have?
I was a regular biker for over 10 years, and toured most of Europe on my 1981 Yamaha XS750SE in the 80's & 90's. I still have the bike, but it spends 350 days of the year in the garage & is rather rusty. But it's only done 35,000 miles & still goes OK.

ive heard 32Rip oops sorry 32Reds shares have doubled in the last month

now thats a good RTP%

Not doubled... Had a bit of a resurgence, but nowhere near making up for the crash from around the 1+ mark prior to results/acquisition!

As someone who's played there, losing and winning for years now - trust me they are absolutely far and away the best MG in every regard, in fact, the best online casino full stop.

As someone very wisely posted up there, check out the Casinomeister "rogue" list for places where you'd really have a nightmare! Ok, so you had a bad run - as you say yourself - this can easily happen online or land based. My only advice would be if you do decide to play some more online, stick with the 'accredited' list.

Hope you get well soon anyhow!

I think you should quit online gambling, because if 32red does not meet your high standards, then very few casinos will. To see what a really bad casino is like, have a look at https://www.casinomeister.com/rogue-casinos/.

Thanks and judging by the posts which all say 32Red are ok you are right

so the online casinos that are rogue must be a gamblers nightmare.

get the pins taken out of leg soon so should be able to hobble to the bus stop. thanks

Kasino King , Havent seen an XS750 in years your showin your age there., used to dispatch in the 80's on a xs750 and had an 850 as well .....weighed a bloody ton.....them were days eh....Z1300's GS1000's Cb900. thats when men were men...none of this fancy plastic rubbish that go fast and stop. in them days they just went fast didnt handle and didnt stop. got a couple of bikes but just got sidewiped on my pride an joy ...A 1974 T140v Triumph, American Market one with peardrop tank , took me bout 8 years an loads of money and 3 women gone to restore it .....just need new forks now.

Anyone who would play over 20,000 spins on that game and ADMIT it is definitely crying out for help. :what: What's next on the agenda? Pouring gasoline on your genitalia and striking a match?

My limited experience with slots so far is that only ladbrokes has given me way more than deposited.

So William Hill Casino, InterCasino, River Belle Casino, 32Red Casino = lost all deposits. Never even got more than deposit once with InterCasino or River Belle. Total for 32Red is -$40 with $150 deposited. William Hill Casino = -250. InterCasino = -$200 etc.

Ladbrokes has given me many nice wins so total deposited to there is also way higher. I am still on winning side total because of this one casino even if all others sucked :) I maybe just very lucky with ladbrokes.

I prefer lighter gas actually. if you ask me anyone who has posted on this forum a staggering 1300 times is beyond help ......gotta admit its a sad lonely way to spend ones time.

yes, much worse than joining a well respected and highly useful forum to trash its most lauded and trusted casino and some of its eldest members? you gamble tens of thousands of spins and don't have an online community to share with and support? the internet has shrunk the world hundredfold. anyone who isn't active in online activities pertaining to their hobbies and interests is missing out.

would you also say someone who reads wikipedia (or even books) constantly is also wasting their time and living a sad existence? online journals and blogs are kinda gay imo, but purpose-driven forums are a great extension of a knowledge base and invaluable resource to those who follow and contribute to it.

Gee, I'm almost at 2,000 posts...I'm a bigger loser than you Tim. But not quite as big a loser as Winbig, Vinyl, Jetset and the CM himself. :D

I guess not everyone gets the "forum" thing. I like to think of us as a community here, and Ama mentioned in another post about us being "like family". I certainly agree with that....but again, not for everyone I guess.

Just as an aside Hobo, I don't think Tim meant to offend you with his comment...it was supposed to be funny. I got it. But I do think yours was a bit over the top...only given the fact that you don't know any of us personally...but many of us have known each other for quite a while.

it was funny and it was true..... and i got it too. of course i dont know any of you but my reply was not really over the top .....and when setting my genitals alight i do prefer lighter gas because it goes out quicker, petrol or gasoline tends to actually take the skin off and sets the furniture alight as you run around the room screaming. .......

Nicely put Pinababy69 :)
Canadian chicks...all class we are!

Hey Andi, this is for you. Lucky I had it saved on my server as it's not on my puter anymore, lol. Feel free to use it as an avatar if you'd like.

Lest we forget, Vortran is gifted with the knack of knock-knock jokes. When he hosts the newsletter, he lets loose on a few. He's even done some on the webcast. He's a really funny guy at times.

Thanks for replying to my post. I was beginning to think you were a wimp! Anyway, I can take it as well as I can dish it out, and I always welcome a nice comeback such as yours. You'll fit right in here! :)

I resemble that remark Pina! You will never be a bigger loser than I!

Why is it that everytime I write "loser" my mind always thinks "looser"? I guess after reading it spelled that way hundreds of times here that it kinda gets ingrained in your mind. :)

Kinda like 'rouged'. But I guess red cheeks can indicate shame, so rouge is fine for rogue, I guess.:D
