Jumio surveyed 8,003 adults across the US, UK, Singapore, and Mexico. The headline figure is that 1 in 3 adults globally plans to bet during the World Cup. That alone makes it the biggest betting event most platforms will ever have handled. But the more interesting finding is that 1 in 5 of those bettors will be interacting with an online gaming platform for the very first time.

Mexico leads betting intent at 43%, followed by the UK at 33%, Singapore at 29%, and the US at 26%. 37% of respondents said they plan to use multiple platforms during the tournament rather than sticking to one. And 43% globally already have a betting account they plan to use.

I hardly believe for a minute 1 out of 3 adults worldwide plan to bet on world cup.

Be lucky if it was 1 in a 100 lol.

Just have to take into account the amount of people who cannot gamble for religious reasons. Countries that ban gambling . Amount of people that have no Internet access for various reasons. Could go on adding to the list but what's the point 1 out of 3 is rubbish.

I could go to say one of my boys parades and have a survey asking if they should be banned and get a near 100% response of no. Where as more than half the country probably thinks yes.

Correct, I will start a survey on CM.

Should AllBritish give every member a £100 no deposit bonus.

Surprising out the the 100 registered members asked, all 100 said yes!
