The bank statement on the transaction reference will show the last 4 digits of your old card. So then they have proof that it was spent using the old card.

What is draconian is requesting the statement be signed and stamped by the bank staff. Why is this, when you would not require this for other pdfs like current account statement or a proof of address? What makes the old card so special it needs the extra layer of security?
 
Hi all i have just checked my emails in inbox deleted spam etc. The emails that royal slots have stated they sent requesting verification only started in november??? I have referred this all to ibas as cannot deal with them anylonger. Thanks all for your advice and help happy crimbo xxx

Hi Winnerette. What's the hold-up again with providing a bank statement proving that the account was closed? Was it the principal? There's really nothing that should be stopping you from getting that letter over to the casino to get paid in full, other than if the card that you used to deposit bared someone else's name on it or something silly like that.

Are you going to put the pedal to the metal and get that letter over to them? Wishing you good luck!

Why don't you just ring your bank and request a letter/email to be sent.

They have asked on multiple occasions for this to be sent, but you have not. Why?.

They will have proof their end asking you for said documents before withdrawal request, so going to IBAS is probably pointless.

It really is not a big deal to request a letter from the bank via email and forward it to the Casino, unless theres an issue with the card, I,E not in your name, or something.

The delay of payment is all down to you.
 
Someblunt responses but hey i can take it lol. Bank wont supply a letter for proof of closure. I explained everything and it was a clear NO. so its not a case of suspicious activity as assumed by several. Tut tut. Tried logging into the account but now it says ive self excluded til 2025?? Not requested that but at a guess its the ibas complaint. Keep you posted and tip of the day DONT ASSUME

How did things turn for you from trying to get a withdraw paid without a required document to being banned from One Click Limited sites for 5 years due to them thinking that you have a gambling problem.

This is quite shocking. What happened in between?

I had told them in my email that i was upset thatbi could not withdraw as borrowed money from a family member on strength of my winnings (not the whole amount) and now i had to pay back out of own money. I wasnt aware id ever have a problem withdrawing as had never before. They keep moving goal posts. Im in touch with ibas and revolver. Im mortified they are assuming im a gambler how dare they. Then self excluded me and am not able to play on any of their sister sites yet telling me i should not play on any site and should inform all sites ive got a problem. I most certainly will take this further not sure if citizen advice is the right organisation as its a deformation of my character. Ty for replying

Agreed. I think your issue is way greater than first met the eye. I'm not entirely sure that any member here could say anything to assist you in this situation. Good luck with IBAS and Revolver. I hope that the predicament that you're in gets squared away positively. Good luck.

Just wanted to ask if the bank will supply you with bank statements even though they won't give you proof of closure but at least on the statement it will show your deposits to casino. Also I don't understand what kind of bank will not help their customers, its only a letter.

And it seems the only stumbling block on your withdrawal is the proof of card, yet you won't or more likely can't deal with this issue, as it will blow your case apart.

Apart from case im disabled no 1 and need help with getting out and about as need to get to the branch which is 10 miles away as with covid will not sort over phone no2 and for your pice of wood no 3 i didnt use the acc in question, i still should not be stopped from being able to.withdraw may 2020 LCCP. Get the point ill ask the bank for some manners for you too whilst at it as said stay off my post unless constructive now shoo

I cant get it at the moment mines barclays. Just upset me how some people hace spoke to me on here assuming im doing something wrong. Its been a terrible time anyway. Ty for sharing information makes me feel better
 
Yeah I'm waiting on a withdrawal and casino asking for back of card ive provided front as had a photo of it but missing the back and they said they would accept front and bank statements in live chat which I have provided but still waiting for the relevant team for the past week lol

It looks quite strict forward, casino have given their final reply and referred to use 3rd party complaint service. Options are to get them proof of that card, use these complaint channels (which most probably can't do much as request proof of used payment method is very standard requests and in line with AML regulations) or forget your money and go on.

Getting proof that some card have have belonging to you is not mission impossible to do, even statements where transactions made with this card could help. There's always trace if you have used that card within last 5 years.

You don't need to go into branch, just call them and they have to send you statements.
As they requested this before you withdrew they aren't in breach of their LCCP I'm afraid.

Th casino wants to make sure the card used is in your name and not someone else's that is why they need proof with your name visible on the card.

You can get a statement sent out over the phone, if they refuse ask for a SAR to include the last 12 months statements, they have to provide them by law.

I'm getting confused. In your first post in this thread, you said you had shown them both sides of your two debit cards,.

The card they are requesting is an old one?.

You do not have the old one anymore, yet made your last deposit with it?.

P.s, They have every right to hold onto your winnings, they are not in breach, You only need to ring your bank to get this issue dealt with. Yet seem very reluctant to do so.

15th of November you started this thread, ample time to of sorted this, but you keep saying they should pay me, when infact they are completely in the right, it's only you delaying payment.

Have you ever submitted a photo or scan of that old card to any other casinos?
Maybe check your sent mail to see if there's an attachment of it, sent elsewhere.
Or if it was uploaded, contact that casino, and explain the situation. they'd have it on file
 
I tried to get a proof of ownership of one of my old cards from RBS and they said no, that nothing like that existed. In the end I only had to provide the casino the transactions showing the last 4 digits of that card.
 
I had added it to my account but when asked if it could be removed when i closed account they wouldnt without proof do just left it on account as with royal you can add but inly they can take a card off. So i just left it alone and was using my other accounts for which i have proved with id

ok, so you need to supply proof. Have you rang the bank yet? The last statement will have the account closure stated on it.

Winnerette might be an elderly/disabled person trying to do all of this but is simply lost or barely knows how to do online tasks.. That's also taking her typing responses like grammar into consideration.

But then again, she knows how to login to a casino and deposit, plus post on CM about the issue she's having, so I'm a little confused.

Im disabled as in i cannot walk or drive to the bank you prune. I do not want pity i am just saying that until im able to get to my local branch which i have been informed to do i still believe the slot company has no right to keep hold of my winnings. I have arthritis of the fingers which makes it difgicult to type always on letters intended. Your discrimination is truly horrifying. You make me feel inadequate and im sorry im not perfect like uourself. Its people like you that make disabled people feel a distinct difference between abled bodied and those like myself . Thank you for that
