Nice win!

There are odds of 352,000-1 against a royal flush in pick 'em poker, making them about 9 times rarer than in other video poker games.

Wow, I knew it was around that number. That's partly why I was so excited. I know I may never get another royal in pick 'em ever. And besides, I usually play jacks-or-better for quarters so the extra amount of the jackpot and the fact that I was playing for halves was pretty cool. Good thing I stayed home from work that day. And I hope my boss doesn't read Casinomeister.

Guess what my new favorite casino is?
That truly is an amazing hit!

But once again, we see someone betting a HUGE amount per hand ($40), and hitting a biggie just before they run out of funds (you only had enough left for 4 more goes @ $40 a throw), so I have to ask: How much did you start off with?

PS: Any chance of a loan? :D

Fantastic! Congratulations!
That takes nerves of steel to play that game with $2 coin size, considering the insanely big variance in Deuces and Joker.

Caliban

I started out with $200.Ran it up and down between $1000 and less than $100 a couple of times betting usually $5 or $10 throwing a $20 or $40 bet occasionally.Ive noticed betting a set amount for an extended period will suck up the money in the long run.I wont even pretend to say Ive got a system but if I would lose a few $5 hands in a row say 4 or 5 then throw out a $40 bet it was giving some big wins frequently. I played for hours afterward and saw twenty or thirty 3 deuces and a joker dealt to me but never saw the forth one again.Cashed out around 16k.
:D Sorry No, no chance of a loan

A very nice $1k Spear  Dont forget to put 10 aside though ;-)
I believe I said that you had to collect that amount in person in Thailand? :)

I cashed exactly $1K. I forgot to add that this came off a $24 VIP bonus from Trident - which is one of the reasons they are and probably will always be my favorite casino group.

Slotster, you're on a HUGE roll :)

from the weekend :) i did deposit $200 and got it up to $2000 at Golden Goose Genies Gems and Spring Break Features at $9 Bets
i thought it is a good run and made some spins at $45 and got the Freegames again! i was so excited when 4x Wilds appeared so that i hit the print-key a few seconds to late.

the money hit my Neteller today morning

Sounds almost like the Beer system, but no beer. :D

Some people freak at some of my screenshots with $45 or $20 hands/spins, but my average VP hand is $5 - $10 and I rarely deposit over $200 at a time.

Simply unbelievable!! What a nice hit. Also, I forgot to congratulate Spear on the 5 wilds! You guys are amazing!

Can't say I like the new slots that much for the time being, although I did get 10800 on Witches, and a decent hit on Halloweenies even though I had no idea at all what I hit because all the symbols look almost the same!

So I went back to the "old" timers... LOL... niice hit just after raising the bet again.

These new coin-based slots are a marketing thing.

Oooh, 9000 coins.

Sounds much better than $90, doesn't it?

I think it's more a Las Vegas thing... It's very common for five line video slots in Vegas to be coin based. I remember the first couple of times I went, I couldn't understand why so many people played the cent and dime machines - before I had a go and realised they were often wagering way and above the dollar machines per spin! Weirdly, I don't tend to play the video slots in Vegas - preferring the Wheel Of Fortune three line etc...

Besides, it's only $90 if you're only wagering 1c! You can get some nice big hits if you up the stake size a little every now and again, hitting the feature at just the right time without decimating your balance.... Chain Mail has proved very profitable for me in the last few days on this basis!

One of those cheeky 'flip the bet size up in the hope the feature hits' moments... It did... I'm still in shock.

I thought the decimal point was in the wrong place!!!! Unbelievable. :D

Awesome Slotster!

I'm doubly curious about what you got out of those 3 free spins though.

Heh hee... An extra, wait for it, 9!!!! I wasn't too concerned though ;)

I still can't believe that hit... it was just so random and out of the blue - that's why slots are great! Speaking of which, Spin Palace just sent me a 'VIP Match Bonus' - and I started off on this unusual one for me at 2.25. When a few hits came in, I upped it to 4.50, then 9 - then on my first spin at 11.25 this arrived! Managed to edge up to just over 2000 at 45 a spin, but bottled it and came here to calm myself down before I decimate my balance!!!

Maybe I should go to bed at some point.

Damn Slotster! I know that feeling. I had the wilds come in on the first 4 reels during a bonus round on that game once.

Could have been a lot worse! At least I hit the highest paying symbol excluding the wilds. I've hit the five wilds on Tomb Raider a while ago, but at 3.75 and not during the free spins unfortunately. Mind you, that was worth about 1800 from memory - so that up there would have been awesome! :eek2:

Slotster, what's a typical deposit for you if I may be so bold? Some of your bets are up there pretty good. I notice that your most common bet is about $9.00/spin according to your screenies.. with an occassional Hail Mary huge bet thrown out there once in a while. ( which I might add that you seem to do alright with! Congrats on the 8 large )

I never deposit more than 200 at a time, although I have been known to do a few deposits in quick succession some days :o

Generally I'll start off around the 2.25/4.50 mark - then increase if it's going good. Moreover, I've been phenomenally lucky recently hitting nice wins on the odd occasion I've flicked the bet upwards. There's no real science to it, just increasing when I 'feel lucky' (punk), and decreasing when I don't!

When there's a nice fat balance however, I am prone to going 9/22.50 crazy for a while - before I realise I've got no money left!

i've been lucky

I've been real lucky at the online casinos - I've had 3 major progressive jackpot wins - I didn't screen cap the first one - I took a photo of the screen just can't seem to find it right now - i was too excited and couldn't think straight! It was on cashsplash for $54,000. If I find the pix for it - I'll edit this post and put them on there. I reduced the size for page loading in the forum - I do have the full size caps :)

here are other major spin and wins for me :)
I dont' think to capture all of them - hopefully I'll win more and I can cap them :)
