I've always wanted to know what it looked like! :eek: Wow it makes the rest of our wins...well...look sort of TINY! Simmo you've been dethroned. Congrats!

Yup. I never saw myself as a ruler anyway...but now i have a fresh challenge! October could be "Progressive Month"!!

First win for me was in July 04 on Jackpot City (the $54,000 and some change one - the one I don't have the screen shot for)
the second win was 2 weeks before christmas in 04 - at lucky nugget casino
The BIG win - the Treasure Nile one was in Jan or Feb of 05 at Platinum Play.
I believe that there is the questionaire thing posted on jackpot city about each win. My pic USED to be on the front page. My name would be posted as "NancyM"
which btw - fortune lounge is going to put out a magazine like belle rock does, and they asked if they could post my picture in it for the Treasure Nile win, I politely declined.
If my husband ever puts his boat in the water - I"ll post a picture of it - We named it the "Cash Splash" and had decals made for it. It's not a YACHT - just a fish and ski boat - but an appropriate name I think :)

I usually only play the progressives - once in a while i'll hit the other games to build up my playing cash :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thought I would add comment about the cashouts
the first cashout took a little time since I had to submit paperwork, and stupidly requested a transfer into my checking account. JackpotCity/BelleRock
The second cashout I had within 3 days in my Neteller Account. Lucky Nugget/BelleRock
Same with the big one from Platinum Play it was in my neteller account within 3 days. Neteller will only let you withdraw 5K at a time though - so I had to make 20 withdrawals from them.
Once the casinos have your 'paperwork' they're usually pretty good. The only one I had a problem with CS or a cashout was at Slots Royale. I was only cashing out $1000 - and submitted all the paperwork BOTH times they requested - Scanned and attached to email AND faxed. They ended up just putting the $1000 back in my account. We went back and forth (Mostly just on my end) for almost 6 weeks.
Another note about when you when the jackpot - The reels don't come up one at a time - it's like BAM - and then the Congratulations Screen comes up.
You don't get to watch them line up.
And I admit it - i peed myself a little the first time I won :eek2:
wow gramma, you are sooo lucky!
did they pay you all at once to your neteller??
Can you rub us all for luck?? LOL
They paid me all in one day to neteller - but it was quite a few deposits from them - can't remember how much each was .. they don't just dump the whole amount in in one lump sum.
Simmo - Fancy a flutter? What say we stick to progressives all month, first to a jackpot!?!? ;)
Yeah i'm up for that matey :) We ought to put a sweetener in for the loser though....how gutting would it be if you banged away all month and the other won $100k - lol. We ought to identify 2 or 3 to hit and have the side-bet on who comes closest on each one. Then a reverse side-bet where the jackpot winner (if we're that lucky - lol) loses :)
... and I swear I spotted the above hit AND the one here coming... but you know how that goes :) Still a pittance but I am definitely not complaining! :)
You might have an arguement for the second one with the two cent bet (but we could also say that was because of the increased bankroll from the first hit), but if you spotted the first one coming your bet wouldn't have been 1 cent/line, would it have? Unless of course you playing less than max bet at 1 cent...
sorry, just can't help needling you :) :) :thumbsup:
You are a sly dog Jamie! ;) When I finally know that one's coming in.. I'm gonna max bet@ highest coin value.
For the first time in ages, I just got the reverse effect of my "flick the bet up" technique... Happily spinning away on Ladies Nite at 9 a spin, drop it down to 4.50 and in roll the scatters on the first push! Nice little return, but half of what it should've been!!!! Heh hee...
Incidentally - does anyone else think "nooooooo!" when you hit the scatters immediately after you've cranked the bet down?? It's weird, because you should be happy you're getting a return, but you're not. Well I'm not. Guess I'm just greedy... :rolleyes:
Occasions like this are why I rarely play "flick the bet", the slots are just too random. The only time I use high bets is when I'm playing with a sticky bonus... If I'm going to lose it anyway, let it ride.
My philosophy too on ALL bonuses :thumbsup: When i get 'em, play big - you never know. Easy come...
LOL.
Basically, if I had known it was coming, I would have raised the coin size to the largest possible - but the fact is that, with a given bankroll, you try to hang in there until it DOES arrive :D
For the second one, it was only at 2 cents because of another event previous that caused me to raise my bet - ie a Golden Goose event within 10 spins :)
I think it's possible to smell when something's coming - obviously there is no way I can know on which spin!
who knew 3 tens was worth so much?:thumbsup:
Lol. That was some free spin bonus Tal! At a guess i'm suggesting you had 5 scatters in during the free spins? First Piggs Peak screenshot too if memory serves...good choice of casino.
Slotster - you realise if he'd been playing this at $9 a spin, he'd have got $13,800 ! Sickening aint it :)
Good guess Simmo, 1st ever 5 scatters.
No way to get a screenshot from free spins,
sucks as I would've kept that one.
No you have to be v quick on the mark!
That is absolutely brilliant though - its so rare an occurence and to have it in the free spins is awesome. I know that slot too well ;) 5 scatters at 0.45 is $225 x 3 = $675 - seemed logical :D
I had the 5 scatters once at 1.80 for 900 within a month of starting playing and never seen it since, except for one screenie posted here recently. It goes to show how the slots are "weighted" as you should get it once every 100,000 spins and i've done well over a million I'm sure :)
..Yep... and I play in 's! :eek2:
Some day.... :D
Now that'd be a sure bet! There's no doubt in my mind that you'll get it someday Slotster. I've never seen someone so lucky on slots. I seriously think you should play Major Millions once in a while.
Heh hee.. I really should start posting my losses up too! I do get a fair share of decent wins though I guess.. I'm not complaining! As Simmo says too, watch this space - I reckon October is "progressive month" :thumbsup:
after 106 spins no goose!!!! some one cooked it:eek: but this came in after i "sensed" something was gonna come in 2 spins after i upped the coin value. followed by 3 scatters very next spin:D all from a 50 bonus...
This one was fun
I was playing hooky from the progressives this evening.
All those suns made me wanna put MY sunglasses on!
Hardly any golden goose spins on this game - and when they are .. they're the "squatting goose" - when I got this win - it also put up a golden goose - and the goose gave birth to 1800, the largest *I've* seen.
5 Aces?
5th Ace?? (Not that it happened this time).
Does this happen with MG Software? I have autohold, and this is what it selected. I have seen other MG VP games hold all 5 cards in this situation though.
Even if it did, surely it would just be a bug in my local display, the server will have the true result in Playcheck, and it would look bad for MG if a 5th Ace turned up "at random" - would imply something was not quite right with their RNG.
Given all the other trouble with MG though, I wouldn't be totally shocked to see a 5th Ace though, I find the 50-UP versions highlight Pat Royal on the paytable, but I have been dealt a far more modest winning combination, such as pair, 2 pair etc. I would be shocked to find it in Playcheck though.
I shall bear this in mind though, and hold all 5 cards if no higher combination is possible in future.
I wouldn't mind pat 5 Aces in Joker Poker though:D
