After making a loss (of only 5 euros) for the first time in April's tournament, I was hoping to return to winning form.
In the end, it worked out quite well. In reverse order....

So on Tuesday morning, I am in the lead. Fast forward to Thursday afternoon and I have long lost that lead, having dropped to 10th.
I then played my Virtual City account. And during free spins, this landed....
Apologies for the shitty screenie. The missing symbols are 4 green jockeys. And just like that......
I'm back in the lead. And I've got a score that should easily make Top 5. But I'm hoping to at least match my best ever finish in a Sure Win Cup,
a 3rd place in January's tournament.
Fast forward to Sunday....less than 12 hours to go. And guess what?
I'm really surprised by this. Not only am I still in the lead, but no one else has broken 200k. I was expecting to see at least 5 scores above 200k by now. And just hope not to be owning the worst score of the 5. I'm also surprised that my Nedplay score is still in the Top 20.
Fast forward to the end of the tournament. My Nedplay result.....
So I dropped 8 places there in the last 11 hours or so. There's been late activity (no surprises there). But with less than half an hour to go, I
was still leading the tournament with my Virtual City account.....and STILL no other score above 200k. It looks like I'm going to have my best ever finish, but would I go on to win it?

I always find that interesting obviously as strategic players we try not to dip too far from our highest peak but sometimes this is unavoidable when the slots are paying terrible. Very nice winnings hard lines on the creature though! One day it will be a "blathaon" type session.

Tbh, I'm not certain mate. And it's not easy trying to work it out on GUTS because they don't have a good playcheck facility.
What I do remember is that as soon as I cleared WR, it dived pretty quickly. And I'm fairly sure my balance was never any higher than
£650 at any stage of the deposit.
