So I've just requested a cashout at Platinum Play. And I decided to hop on over to Royal Vegas. £100 deposit, no bonus.
Little did I know that this was the morning of the lockout. Anyhow, I decided to start with Playboy.

Sure enough, I soon got 3 scatters again. And chose Ashley in the hope of completing a grand slam of sorts. Yeah that worked out well.
I should have known better than to pick what is arguably the worst feature out of Playboy, TS2, IR, TFROL and JP combined.
Anyhow, I've started well and head over to IR. And nothing of note happened....except for one thing. My first ever natural 5OAK of Michael in the base game. Yep....I finally did it. And I was very pleased about it. And I have now doubled up on my £100 deposit. But because I have just 5OAKed Michael, I have no intention of going to play something else. I still had to get a 5OAK of Troy and 4OAK of Michael to complete the achievements that paid out some bonus cash. But in the end, I gave up having failed to achieve either. And decided to switch to Battlestar Galactica.....
Now don't get me wrong, I like BSG. But the difficulty in achieving 100x wins, even including the free spins in "normal mode", does "irk me a bit". My biggest ever win is something like 108x bet. That said, I've had many a long session on this slot and just ground away on it without ever feeling like I'm going to lose much/anything. Just a load of break-even grinding and the hope of hitting a monster Ion Storm one day.
Little did I know that I was soon to smash this personal best in quite unexpected fashion.
I've dropped to £167 and I get an Ion Storm. Now I don't know what YOUR experiences of Ion Storm are like, but I know mine. Compared to IR's WD, TS2's WS, Jillian's WN, JP's T-Rex and TFROL's WC, this feature SUCKS for me. It doesn't just suck, it takes suck to a whole new level. Yes it's true, I have "won" something on every single Ion Storm I've ever had, but let's just say this....2 reelers on Ion Storm are quite rare. 2 reelers that lead to a 5OAK are even rarer. And I have never had a 3-reeler. So I'm not exactly confident of winning anything above five times my bet here. But then....
Reel 1 turns wild. Hmm OK....no big deal. Then Reel 2 turns wild. And that's a first for me....hold the front page already! Now I am just waiting for a 10, J and Q to hit Reel 3 and a trio of high paying symbols on Reel 4 for my anti-climactic win of around 10x bet.
Then Reel 3 turns wild.
My first 3-reeler! W. T. F.? My eyebrows have hit the ceiling and my chin has hit the floor. This is so out of left-field. And now I'm thinking...."Aha.....NOW you're going to give me the shitty 10JQ combo on Reel 4 and brick me on Reel 5."

My first 4 reeler on Ion Storm or indeed any of those features similar to Ion Storm. I've had 3 reelers on JP, IR, TFROL and Playboy. I've never had a 3-reeler on TS2, but then again, who the feck has? Note to jonmincher, dunover and Balthazar at this point....no need to answer that...I know you have managed it :notworthy
And NOW the sceptic in me has longgggggggggggg gone. I am now actually thinking "I'm gonna bloody get this". I'm not even thinking "don't you dare put a fecking 10 out there you bastid!" I am actually "more than 50% convinced" that Reel 5 is actually going to turn wild. And it's just freaking me out a little bit. This kind of win is supposed to "happen to other people", not me. Isn't it?
Erm...yeah....it does happen to other people, not me. Dang it. But still....
Pics 4 and 5 - 81x 4OAKs of mechanised toasters, along with 81 5OAKs of Ellen, A and Js bring me a win of 918x bet. I have to admit I was "a bit miffed" that it didn't reach 1000x bet. But getting that close to hitting the jackpot just gave me such a huge buzz. OK I didn't win it, but at least I got a nice consolation prize.
And that is my last ever Fortune Lounge screenie. Unless I move out of the UK (not likely). 12 hours later, the lockout began. Because Royal Vegas took until Tuesday to lock me out, I could have played on for a bit. But I didn't know that at the time. And I had the small matter of £400 in my account and I damn well wasn't gonna let Spin Casino get their hands on it. So I cashed out for a nice quadruple up. I was only with Fortune Lounge for 8 months, but damn, what a good 8 months it was, especially the last 2
