Will Hill are a top notch outfit with the backing of a major PLC and you can be 100% certain that the denial of winnings is not due to the fact someone is ahead overall.

They have obviously detected what they think is a 'fraudulent attack' on the casino and as the alleged perpetrator has already withdrawn more than his original deposit are refusing to pay him any more funds. If this 'fraudulent attack' is no more than using the bonuses to their maximum advantage within their T&Cs then it would be a serious blot on this casinos reputation.

Mitch

Mitch, I am certainly aware that WH is a quality casino (excluding customer service:) ). That is why i seemed amazed they would do what poster is accusing them of with no explanation other than what they gave.
If they think he is staging a "fradulent attack" they should explain exactly what that is.

PS- if OP is lying he is a scum but my first instinct is always to believe the player.

I don't have any PABs from you except from 2005 concerning Crystal Palace.

Looks like they are in the dock already. The E-mail to the player is not an accusation of fraud. If it were fraud, it would surely have been picked up with previous withdrawals.
It looks like a case of being a good advantage player, coupled with making withdrawals when ahead.
This is beside the point, as the WillHill bonus scheme does not rely on the player redepositing for the bonus. Every time the casino is closed funds go back to the sportsbook account. Every time the casino is launched, the funds go to the casino, and if a monthly bonus is available it is awarded automatically.
Withdrawals are from the sportbook, but unearned bonus is not available.

As well as advantage play, it is possible to deposit, claim the bonus, close the casino and use the deposit in the sportsbook. The bonus alone can be used to play, and has a +EV long term for the patient BJ player. It's not fraud, it's advantage play, and all that should be done is disable the player from receiving any future monthly matches. Retrospective confiscation is bad, but this case is worse, as it seems the current deposit has been confiscated in order to retrospectively confiscate winnings the player has already previously withdrawn along with current winnings!!!

If the player has too many accounts with bonuses (fraud), WillHill should at least respond with the correct accusation when denying winnings. If they are going down the road of shafting players simply for winning too often, they belong in the back streets with the dodgy fruit machine arcades run by former fairground owners (I have had this from this type of establishment, but it was harder to confiscate my deposit & winnings as these at least were already in my pocket).

Are you using 2 different handles to denounce the same casino? This wont help things and would only weaken your case.
it was just an honest mistake.at that time i were not member of casinomeister site. but then i registerd an account through my friends help at casinomeister. and i sterted a thread but later i realized that the thread was posted under my friends login. that was purely an honest mistake. but then i PAB THROUGH my account and email address. nikest is just my friend. and i have PAB through my casinomeister login and my email address. thanx

i contacted neteller to report about the fraud of willhill. explained them that i made a deposit there, won there. will closed my account and refused to pay my winnings and even deposit, and i got this reply from them

Dear Mrs. Faheem,

We have received a response from the merchant concerning the inquiry we had sent to their site on your behalf. The merchant has informed NETELLER that your withdrawal was not processed because your account there has been closed.

Any such action taken in relation to an account held at their site would be the merchant's decision, made at their discretion. welll, i guess then its very easy to commit a fraud with the support of opening an account with neteller.i really dont believe that a casino can rippff me this way and even refused to pay my deposit back, without any grounds.

Wondering about the problem accounts..

Is it possible that you guys were obviously in there for the bonus ?

ie either now or in the past did you deposit, withdraw the deposit and play only the bonus ? Did you play BJ only ? Did you fulfill the WR and not play beyond it at all ?

Just wondering...

That's totally irrelevant in the case of them not refunding the player's deposit.

Actually, it's very relevant.

William Hill (same as all the others) is not in this business to lose money. The bonuses are intended to draw us in and lose our money - that's why they have all those vaguely worded phrases in their T&Cs.

If you blatantly use the bonus (ie bonuswhore) I think you should expect to get shafted. Not refunding the deposit ? This isn't a bank, and neither is it a B&M casino or betting shop. WH want to stain their reputation ? May be bad business at the end of day (depending on who reads these posts), but that's up to them. Caveat Emptor.

No, its not relevant.

So, whoever repeats his point of view most times wins ? :)

The guy should try and get his money back any way possible, and via the forum/PAB is great (I know I would if it ever happened to me). BUT it is naive at best to keep saying "that's not fair", "they can't do that", and so on.

Do you really think the casinos give a sod what's fair or not ? The casino will do what they consider to be in their best interest. If the guy was blatantly in-your-face playing minimum WR and squeezing the max out of the bonus, I would expect them to react "unfriendly" - if I were giving away "free money" I would be touchy as well....

However, if this thread creates enough momentum (which I suppose I am contributing to..) they may decide they acted stupidly - i.e. this decision cost them more money in terms of lost business than it saved in terms of keeping away bonus whores. I assume at least some readers at have already decided not play at WH any more.

If you want "fair", go to a big B&M casino. I have never yet had my chips confiscated. Even when I won....

Unless there is fraud on the player's part, the deposit should be returned. Similar to a chargeback by a player, casinos' confiscating deposits is an absolute no-no in the online gambling world.

the only "player" i've seen on this thread making a claim that his deposit wasn't returned is "nikest". Meanwhile, nikest continues to send new players to WillHill via his website so how can you take this guy seriously?

i searched nikest here and it brought up another former poster "nikest27" who was banned. could just be a coincidence...

@dd99: Man this is so ridiculous! If a player signs up at the casino, gets the new player bonus, fulfills the wager requirement playing only allowed games, what has he done wrong?? In my opinion, it is up to the casino to adjust their wager requrements so that it is fair for them and for the player. With a wager of 1600 for a 80$ you might as well loose the bonus and your own money. If a player gets the monthly bonus of 40$ again and again, month after month without ever risiking his own money it would only be fair to exclude the player from getting more bonuses in the future. But talking about being a bonuswhore when you sign up at the casino as a new player is totally nonsense ....

if you do the bonuses no-risk time after time, imo you are abusing the privilege. since they know you're going to bail if you bust the bonus funds, they are not really to blame for witholding 1x the bonus amount given each month and barring you.

not meaning anyone in particular, but playing no-risk month after month is not honest play and subject to question. take it like a man and bust your funds. one day you'll hit a 4 digit win from wh and they won't confiscate if you wagered and busted your own money at least once or twice. it's 40 bucks/25 pounds, big effin deal in the grand scheme. =P

So you claim that a new player at a casino cannot possibly be a bonus whore... Because bonus whores must play a minimum of X months to be considered a whore, or what ??

I dont understand when casino clearly states that IN THE INTEREST OF FAIR GAMING..you need to wager x amount before making any withdrawl. so whenever a player fullfills wr , he has followed the term and conditions. personally myself, after fullfilling wr , if i am having a good experience, then i would continue playing, otherwise i will just cashout.and thats should not be a prb. or else the casino should add 1 more term stating that
though you need to wager x amount before making any withdrawl, but if you dont want to risk your winnings , make sure that you wager 3x amount.

I agree totally with sumerafa. A player necessarily will have to abuse "the casinos "good will" (as they like to call it) more once to be called a bonus whore.

ok but what if it is the 2nd,3rd,4th time someone has accepted the casino's good will from the same ip? or if someone accepts the good will gesture from all the sister casinos in a short span of time? clearly patterns of abuse, no?

Signing up for multiple accounts at a casino is abuse.

Signing up for multiple casinos within a group is not, regardless of timespan.

Excellent. So in the online casino group you open up (unless you already own one :) it won't be abuse.

Now go to CR group and convince them.
