Williams Interactive (WMS) Games Now Live At Nordicbet

I believe The reason Canadians can't play wms slots online, is because the land based casinos are government owned, hence they scoop the money, and these casinos are loaded with wms slots.
I would think, if online gambling was regulated, and the government could still scoop the money from it, it would be perfectly ok ... it's all about the money, just like it is in the states ;)

....
Portugal

Yes, it should be exactly because of that.
I play all these WMS games in the land-based casinos in Portugal

But I also play IGT in land-based and I can play them online so, it surely is related with governmental issues

Would they? It would be interesting to do the math and calculate your chance of getting the higher progressive based on the number of star(s) per screen vs the number of "bad" gifts. Avoiding the bad gifts for 4 consecutive steps could be mathematically very challenging.

I'm pretty sure that the "pick me" choices in land based slots can't be predetermined, and JPP is as close as land based as you can get online.

EDIT: Quick math for fun:

With 3 bad gifts and 1 star per screen you'd have 0.39% chance to get 4 stars.
With 4 bad gifts and 1 star: 0.16%.
With 5 bad gifts and 1 star: 0.077%

That's assuming that they have the same number of bad gifts in the first screens than the later ones.

So they can easily make it a rare occurence without predetermining the outcome. Not saying that's what they do, but it's pretty easy.

I think this has nothing to do with the thread. We are not discussing the software or the games, we are discussing when they are going to be definitely available at other casinos other that JP.

Robin from Nordicbet said they plan to bring the games back on the 18th February but they can't promise that because the games have to be stable
i want to play bruce lee again :D

Didn't they, erm, y'know, do some testing?

what about Fortune teller and a few other slots that say "Williams Interactive" when loading. They were not pulled off , are they some different WMS?

Not sure why it says Williams Interactive on Fortune Teller and a few other slots. Fortune Teller is a game created by Play'n GO - Swedish game supplier.

It may be a small bug related to the problems they had with those WMS games (I see that the Play'n GO loading page is appearing after a few seconds).

Yes the gift picking game is a nice interactive sound and light show, but like the Mega Moolah wheel, you're just watching a pre-determined result and the odds of picking the 'advance a level' star are not what the gift matrix makes it out to be, indeed, you just click on gifts until you get the COLLECT as per what was determined the second you triggered the round.

I agree entirely here. In some skewed way, it helps mentally when you hit the 'collect' present as you can accept it was always going to be a no star / one star progressive award, rather than think "if only I picked the present next door" when it reveals it was a star at the end sequence.
The only thing I would offer, and this I think would really help lo rollers get more of the excitement, would be to code out that god awful 'collect' on the first or second pick.
If you hit the JPP progressive feature and are a lo roller, then it maybe you're first ever experience (and some kind of buzz). You do not want the whole affair ending after just one pick - they could code the whole thing to award at least a few presents to the pre-determined amount before dumping you out.
Mega hi rollers don't care as much - the kamikaze max bet player cares not when the feature ends in terms of excitement, these guys are hitting it several times an hour.
A mid range better like me, £2.40 average - I tend to hit the progressive around once a month. I have had 9 shots since joining JPP about a year ago. 5x no stars, 3x 1 star and a lucky 1x 3 stars. I would like the excitement of the feature lasting a little longer even at my modest (but massively bigger odds than the 30p a spin player) stake. Hell, I even take time between present picking just to add to the excitement.
This brings me onto another thought - what if you suspended the game, i.e. closed the site during a JPP feature, and waited for more 'optimum' values to come around - i.e. the no star has just gone, and you check back regularly for that elusive £100-£200 level it can sometimes climb to - same for the other stakes - I wonder whether they would drag you over the coals for that - or would it even work ??
Sorry for off topic, but as it's gone a bit quiet on the main issue until it develops further then this seemed timely.

Hi all,

without wanting to highjack this topic, just wanted to inform you that we also released the WMS games again in most countries now. Still a few more countries to go for the simple reason that we want to try a soft release first in order not to have the same issues we had last time the games got released. Although the issue was not from our end, we still prefer to operate in this way.
All games can be found in our casino black tab under vegas slots.

Enjoy, regardless where you play them ;)

I just played Buffalo Spirit on there. I spun maybe 800 times (could have been more) and not once did I get the free spins feature, I hit the point where I get the funky music and am waiting for the 3rd reel to activate the free spins maybe 80-100 times and not once did it come up. Maybe I have the worst luck but it just didn't seem right to me. I am happy for you to check through my game play to verify, but honestly, I've never known anything like it ( and I've played the game on JPP many times).

Are they, or will they become available for Danish players? - and if yes, what is the ap. timeframe?

Im guessing we are gonna be left out "denmark" that is for a while, as its all up to spillemyndigheden to allow the software, but atleast we gotten a few netent the last 2months.

But check MG its just awfull even asked support and they just told they are stuck fighting with spillemyndigheden since not even 1 "new" slot been released since they went live january 2012.

But .dk domains is listed on the announcement from WMS that betsson group bought the rights so we can hope.

The grand Bruce Lee face-off begins!

92.05% RTP at Jackpot Party.

96.05% RTP at Unibet.

I'm going to kick them off every day in free play mode at the same time, with the same auto play settings, and spin them for as long as I'm able/willing to do so before going to bed.

I'll record the profit/loss on each variant at the end of each session.

Let's see how long it takes that extra 4% RTP at Unibet to make itself felt, or will it not actually make any significant difference over what is a single player's sample size?

Indeed, a good experiment. I can see Jackpot Party suffering here if it turns out to give the results you suggest.
See if Unibet can give the 'We like that! Yes! We f@@king do!' moment first lol.

(In reference to the 20 freespins in the old video with Wild on 1&2);)

I suspect that on such a high variance slot it'll take a long time for the extra RTP to really make itself felt, especially if the Jackpot Party version drops a 20 free spins round before the Unibet version.

Simmo I believe has said that he doesn't think a single player would really notice a difference as long as the RTP is up in the 90s (not specifically about this slot, but in general).

Hi all,

there are indeed some issues again, hence the soft testing we were doing and not releasing in all countries in one go.
As someone else already pointed out before, testing has been done extensively in the last couple of weeks but unfortunately, you can only really tell once you get a good load of players on the platform.
We hope to have the issue fixed today but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this at this moment in time.

Our apologies for the hic ups.

With regards to not hitting the bonus round and the RTP being questioned, I can assure you that we would not broadcast an incorrect RTP. We are extremely strict about that but as with all slots, (and trust me, I have been there myself several times) you can end up having a really bad streak and not hitting the bonus round at all.

All the best and once again, apologies for the issues. We are getting there though.

Dave
