William Hill, shenanigans!

I still haven't received the email from them yet, I think I will wait & see how you (Sparkz) go before I make a deposit. Guess your the guinea pig :D

lmao, yay,

i gave into them in the end and sent what was needed, front and back of my card, then they wrote back saying it must b signed..grrr... pretty lame since who this day and age signs their card because its either used via "chip and pin" or with your own pin at the cash point.

nevertheless i signed it and sent it em back, they accepted,

now as i mentioned to them i dont have a fax machine they told me i could print it out and send it. As i have no printer either i wrote the exact words out and signed it...

then got an email back saying its "invalid", so i had to run down the road, go to the neighbours, copy and paste what the declaration says and signed it, i sent them a digital image of it and they best had accept it because i must of looked like a right idiot at the neighbours... "hey there, umm...i know your busy but this pain in the ass casino wont pay me unless i print off this declaration form...can i use your printer??"

edited update:

originally the writen declaration wasnt valid, now after sending a copy of the declaration i printed of the neighbours printer and signed i got the email:

"you need to print out the ENTIRE form for us to consider it as valid.

Once we received the valid document, you may rest assured that your request
will be immediately processed."

what the hell are they on about? then want the whole copy of a piece of paper? they want the whole email printed off?

its caused me no end of grief today, talk about compulsive gamblers stopping day to day activitys to gamble, iv stopped all my day to day activitys today just to satisfy them.... iv wasted no less than 3 hours today responding to them, transfering over images to send them and the rest of the time with my head resting in my hands thinking "oh dear", time i certainly would rather spend enjoying the nice day or playing with the kids :(

As far as I can see William Hill have simply franchished their name. This william casino club operation bears no resemblance to the level of service, cash out speeds etc ive come to expect from will hill.

I never actually got to cash out from casino club so I havent experienced problems financially but the live support are simply arrogant and rude and im going back a few months.

I simply wanted to know why I couldnt use "quik Cash" at a william hill operation, obviously they didnt have a clue what quik cash is. (IF you dont know then you can go to a will hill branch and deposit cash for use online, unlike the similar Ukash option which allows you to depost cash at many shops in europe the quik cash option also allowed withdrawls so in effect a withdrawl from willhill has for a long time been intstant cash)

It was at this point i thought to myself, wow if they dont except will hills own payment system for cash outs and with drawls via the BnM branches then how can William Hill Casino club be a true will hill operation.

the thing with william hill just putting their name on the proudct is that they should really be making sure that their staff are at the same reputable levels as they are in any betting office

its like there weatherspoons here sells nice ale for 1.29 a pint. if someone lived here and drunk that then moved to another town with a franchised weatherspoons pub selling the same drink for 3 a pint then that would of course piss em off a bit which is very similar to this because there local which they are used to (aka william hill betting office) for good prices is a ripoff when they try another pub with same same name which they assumed to be reputable.

talking of payouts at this casino... its pretty crap if im honest...

after spending about 6 hours taking images and sending them of signed deposit forms, my card, over n over again once it was all accepted i asked about the withdraw and they said "Your account has been updated and you will be contacted via email with
further notifications regarding your withdrawal request."

over 2 days on and still nothing... its been over 5 days since i requested the withdraw and its still only pending as "waiting" on my account :(

just as an update for people..

i emailed em last night and was told that id recieve an email when my withdraw had been processed...

today got email:

"It seems that youve done well at William Hill Casino Club s gaming tables.

Following your request to cash in on your gaming success, I am happy to confirm that weve processed your withdrawal. "

:D :D, however of course it hasnt shown as in my bank yet, by time it shows in my bank i expect it to be a total of 8 days since requesting payout

Hey that's great news, hope you receive it soon. I guess I will make my deposit now & see how I go. I still haven't been sent that email but I'm definate I have made the wagering requirements as I won nearly $4000 then played it down to $350. I do have 1 question now if anyone can help as I see the OP & Sparkz made a deposit then withdrew their winnings plus the deposit - when I make my deposit can I just withdraw my winnings & still play with the deposit + bonus or do I have to withdraw the deposit as well & forfeit the bonus. I did ask the chat this as well & they said it would be included in the email that I'm still waiting for, lol. Edited to add: Lookaway - that's great, good to hear.

hmm let me think...

im still puzzled as to them saying they will email you to tell you weather you have met the wagering requirements or not because as i mentioned when i asked on live support they checked for me and told me...

before making the deposit i advise you to make sure 100% that you have met the wagering requirements (ask again on live support) because if you did make a deposit and tried to cash it out without making the WR then you will forfeit the ND bonus :(.. although from what you say it does seem highly likely you have met the WR

from what i gather say you deposited $40 and got a $60 bonus, if you dont play at all before withdrawing then it should be fine to withdraw just the nd bonus winnings... however if you play when that bonus is applied then you wont be able to withdraw anything until you have met that new deposit WR.... someone correct me if im wrong :p

for all who wanted to know:

my moneys in my bank today :D so its taken maybe just over a week since requesting the money to get paid

im going to now email them requesting my account is closed for good, certainly they have shown they dont have reliable customer support and due to the hassles they caused me it isnt worth playing there again

i also joined the casino, i am from germany think thats the problem.

after signin up my account was locked and their customer service never answered to my emails?? wtf?

i already read in some forums they have problems with german players??

anybody the same experience?

cheers

Can I ask anyone who has taken William Hills 150% sign-up bonus - was your bonus Phantom or Cashable?
i.e. Did they take the bonus off when you cashed out?
(Not the 30 free-chip)

Thanks in advance.
KK

yeh

i got the ND bonus, played it through WR, made a deposit and got 150% bonus (40 deposit, 60 bonus)

i cashed out right away and that deposit bonus amount was taken away, if you cashout and dont play at all after the 150% bonus then it will be taken away and the cashout will go through fine, however if you play after that bonus has been applied then the funds will be "locked" until you have met the WR

RUDE - that's WTF:mad:

William Hill have allowed their brand to be trashed by these incompetents running this particular show. It has ALREADY begun to affect their B & M operations, with poor experiences with the online operation causing players to consider boycotting the high street operations too.

One of the STRENGTHS of the online operations of the high street bookies WAS this ability to withdraw from your online account over the counter at the high street branches. I am certain that this WAS on offer when William Hill had the Crypto casino, and were considered reputable despite not being accredited here at the time, but clearly they have now done away with this option- and this is PROGRESS:confused:

Coral (chartwell) also had this option, and I even have a local Corals bookie less than half a mile away. Pity it was a Chartwell casino, or I might have continued to play. I would now check whether this option still existed before playing there again, even though I would probably not use it whilst they offered quick Neteller payments. If Coral have removed this facility, I would consider this "negative progress".

CM is in contact with the top people at William Hill, but these top people need to get out of their "ivory towers" and see the bullshit being shovelled out generously to the players of the online brands, and how this is steadily damaging the entire brand's reputation.

There SHOULD be a VERY SIMPLE way for a UK player at William Hill to get verified. GO TO A HIGH STREET WILL HILL SHOP & get staff there to "notarise" your documents, cards, face etc.

Completely agree there,

I do remember it was like that, was it when they had games like 1 of my favourite slots "sheerluck holmes" ? if you won you could create a ticket, print it out and then go to william hill betting office and they scan it in/pay out the winnings...im sure it was something like that...as you say "Coral" also used it... wasnt that all hosted on something called "Eurobet"? the same as gala bingo and 1 other too

Its too true all that. Like they should of branded that casino sooo much closer to home, as you say. Would certainly be easier to go into a william hill betting office, show them id n whatnot, maybe get a "players card" in the post and then simply use that card number.

Its almost like this william hill casino isnt william hill at all but thats the problem. Iv seen more ads for this WH casino than the sportsbook and betting WH site so people may think "oh its william hill, they must be good" and then experience these problems and think "what crap, im going to avoid them altogether"

I for 1 have avoided any william hill betting offices since that occasion (we have 2 here) mainly to make a stand. After all my problems at the WH casino site i want to show its not acceptable and show the whole company has lost my custom

Just a quick question. The few of you that managed to complete the wagering - what games did you play?
I didn't take the 30 freebie, but the 150% SUB (because I thought it was cashable until I went to cash out & only then found out it was Phantom!)

Still made it though, and for anyone interested this is what I played:-

Obviously the best game was Wanted Dead or Alive; it was the first time I'd ever played it, and at first I thought it was pretty rubbish. My opinion had certainly changed by the end!
(I just wish I hadn't wasted 332 on Bonus Bears & Desert Treasure... :()

If William Hill are advertising here in the Uk, they become bound by UK laws. These have recently been strengthended to include the banning of 31 specific trading practices. The OFT and local trading standards are having a purge on offending businesses, and there is no reason that internet businesses should be exempt.

William Hill are in THIS jurisdiction, so could be held to account if they violated either of these consumer protection laws. The most likely penalties would be bans on misleading adverts, and fines. If they receive censures from the OFT and Advertising Standards Authority, their brand will suffer even further damage.

They have NOT "just acquired" many of these casinos - the deal was done months ago, and they have had William Hill casino FOR YEARS, and it is William Hill casino itself that this thread is about, so they CANNOT use the recent acquisition excuse for this.

There are NEW problems still being generated from the acquired casinos, and these problems are happening under William Hill Online management.

hi

now they also allow germans to play, and i must say this casino was great.

i got 30 nd met the wr, i deposited 40 the bonus from that was deleted by support...

in the terms it says that the max withdrawal is 300 but my question is, shouldnt it be like 300 max winnings to cash out plus depsoit makes 340?

because support told me 300 is max, because my balance got up to 800 -) these slots payed crazy.. -)

so if theres anybody who received the max amount + depsoit plese let me know..

cheers

:)

th thing is.. i still have about 500 in my account.. 300 withdrawal is pending.. but normally after wihdrawal my account should be zero? iam used to it at playtechs..

but in their terms theres no statement that says that the max cashout amount includes your deposit.

as i won from freechips i always had to make these depsoits for verification.. and received them back..

hope smb who was as lucky as me to cash out max will show up soon..

cheers
