I'm super curious...

Out of all those MEGA jackpots (above 100K) - why hasn't someone from these boards (CM, GG, WO, etc ad infinitum) won?

In other words - why hasn't someone we all KNOW won?

Hi Nisobar,

Well they arent going to come out and say, wooho someone has won the jackpot and there name is Joe Blow.

If they dont put a name to it then it wouldnt seem real, but who's to say that they post bogus names with a bogus win etc?- what about the jackpot going to a employee or someone who works for the company.

From memory a lot of the jackpots went off in 2009- the Megahh Mulah wenty off twice in the one year and from memory intercasino had thereres go off as well.

I think there was some sarcasm in Nisosbar's response about the names being impossible to confirm. We do know every once in awhile a real person (who might slip through the cracks) hits a big one and is in fact identified and becomes public. Unfortunately, this is usually the result of not getting paid or getting screwed out of half of it.

Considering all the recent confirmed facts of cheating taking place online, WagerWitche's question would be considered a given the casinos are stealing most of them. With no regulation why shouldn't they? When you consider the entire existence behind the whole casino business, which is to take in more money then they pay out, without regulation being enforced they get to take in a lot more a lot faster any way they choose to.

You would probably have a better chance with archives available figuring out the JFK assassination, then figuring out what an online casino is doing with zero confirmed information and only cheap talk available.

about 5 years ago wheni only played at belle rock, a woman names Heidi C. litterally won between 25k and 80k a day. i even emailed support saying how does this HeidiC. win huge every day. this went on for months but then i gave up and just assumed it was fake. funny thing is a year later on some other casino i saw Heidi C. win over 100k on their casino. but really i wonder often about that, i have been playing for years and my bigest was 18k, and i bet huge when i'm up huge.

I totally recognized the name Heidi C. as soon as I read your post. That was at River Belle casino. I wondered that myself back then and would always check the winners list freaking out with envy over her wins. Sometimes she was listed 7 times in the top ten. Considering what I know now, I think I was a full blown sucker back then... I made the list several times with 20k royal flushes but she ruled that page.

Yeah they dont want to tell anyone but I bet the casino's will boast about it for PR.

Also, do you all remember the winner screenshots thread about a month or two ago..

The Aussie lady who won like 5 Random jackpots at inetbet in a space of a week.

She won over $30k if im right.

I've just always wondered why no one we know has hit those MAJOR JPs

I've hit up to 25K

But in MANY spins.

I've NEVER hit a HUGE win at once over 12K. I once won 12K at RiverBellethingieCasino.

Still - knowing that I've NEVER won over that - and for as MANY years as I have played - I am finding it astounding - as long as I've been a member of MANY boards - that only one person from the board won 250K - but then disappeared. Shill???

So it was just a really INTERESTING thought.

Just because people do not post their big wins or talk about them on the forum, doesn't mean they haven't won big. I know two people that have won big in the last couple years. They just don't want to brag maybe?

That of course is very true. Even I and many others here for the most part remain humble when it comes to wins and losses. Many players would consider hitting a 4k or 20k royal flush the biggest win of their lives. For serious poker players here hitting royal flushes is common and expected over the course of a years play, (at least at one time they were) and ultimately just part of the real gamble which is to be ahead on December 31, so you could justify your insanity thrill of the gamble.

In addition what one player might view winning big to be, could be very different from the next view.

As a result of the recent rash of negative posts about online gaming, the trust level for players is at an all time low. Instead of players being excited about a real chance of being the next winner, player's (including me) are instead busy concentrating on trying to find out if in fact we're even getting a fair game with a fair chance in the first place.

I for one keep hitting a brick wall when trying to confirm fairness.

I think I totally agree with you.

It's the lack of the Big Jackpot winners that is eluding me... Winners we KNOW...

I mean - most folks here would scream at a 100K plus win.

I'm talking ALL platforms too: Slotland, Winaday, Microgaming, RTG, Rival - etc.

Not one winner of large amounts is someone we know of that has announced it.

AND MANY OF US - have been playing for YEARS and YEARS --- since the industry opened.

It's starting to get a little "fishy" to me.

Although - I do trust Slotland always have been a fan - I'm concerned that no one I know has EVER won the JP... EVER - AT ANY CASINO PLATFORM - not in ANY of the forums...

Jesus, McDonald's Monopoly game was compromised by insiders.

Do you really think that all of these jackpots actually get legitimately paid by basically unregulated, remotely located entities?

Heide C. and the lady who won 5 "Random" jackpots was most likely a relative to someone in a position to manipulate the outcomes.

Yeah I agree with all of you about all of the above, but I have to say it's not just the jackpot winners it's everything.

Im in the same boat as Kenny Lingus (whos name and avatar I love by the way).
I'm sick to death of seeing threads like Tradition casino, Ecorga, Bryans Dos attack, the whole Costa Rica casino's, the none pay of lgetimate winnings, the FU clause in terms and conditions, the blatant lies, the withholding of important info, the outrit dirty ouotfits that rip us off.

I've been here for a good 3 yrs+ and im really sorry to say it is becoming so pathetic it isnt funny anymore and it really is drving me away..

I would be lucky to spend $200-$300 per month now on gamlbing online and when I do it is usually sports.

As kenny Said, these bastards arent getting my hard earned coin anymore.

has she been back on to say if she got paid or had any hassles ?

i remember when i used to play party pokers casino , and you would see the same name pop up as having won a flash jackpot different amounts but maybe the same name 4 or 5 times a session

the most ive ever hit online jackpot wise is $100 twice on megah moola wheel thingo which really isnt a jackpot but u know an extra feature

ive hit the minor jackpot at casinos about 20 times , never over $200 but i was at the casino with a person that hit 42k (on the train feature for aussie players )

Back before the UIGEA was passed, there used to be a website where you could read about the winners of jackpots from the Microgaming casinos. Most had pictures posted with their stories, so of course, I "assumed" they were real people with real wins. I was actually invited to share my story of my jackpot win and was posted amongst the other "big" winners.

I haven't won a "massive" jackpot but I have won a few jackpots in the 7 or 8 years that I have been playing online. I won the jackpot (a little less than $46,000) on Lotsaloot at Maple Casino in 2005, and yes I was paid hassle free. I've hit a random jackpot at Bodog for a little over $10,000. 4 or 5 royal flushes for $20,000 at various different RTG casinos. A $30,000 royal flush at Crystal Palace (and believe it or not, I WAS PAID, no hassles). And then there was a $10,000 win on deuces and joker video poker at All Slots Casino.

Do I seriously think that I'll ever win any wins like those again? Not...There is always hope, but I won't hold my breath.

In the monthly INetBet newsletter she stated she was paid all of it. I don't recall the time frame but I'm thinking it wasn't more than 1 week. Her total winnings were close to 37,000 as I recall.

good to hear , a big amount of cash too

maybe thats why inetbet is bonus banning every second person now :D

i think these hits are in the way up range $$$ :D 20,000.00 would be at this time a massive hit for me :D:D

Aussie Lady

I wish I hadn't jumped on the forum tonight as it is very late but I just have to reply.....

Hi, from the Aussie Lady that won those 5 Randoms in January....seems like soooo long ago.

I couldn't help but giggle at a couple of the responses posted here. The funniest being that I must be a relative of someone from Inet :D
I can categorically confirm that there would be a snowballs chance in hell that any relative of mine would willingly hand me over 2 bob, little own 30 grand.

I can assure you that I'm still gobsmacked at my 'sausage roll' I had going over that 6 day period at Inet. It was one hell of a ride.

To answer Pinkfloyd's question about payment, I was actually really impressed and had no hassles at all.

I'm off to bed now.... soooooo sleepy
Happy Easter everyone :)

I think what some people are forgetting here, is that there are hundreds of millions of online players around the world. If you add up all the members of all the major forums, it wouldn't even come to 100,000.

So the chances of someone "we know" on here winning is very remote, infact I would go as far as saying if somebody we did know won a substantial amount, then it would be an incredible coincidence. The odds of someone on this forum winning these jackpots are so miniscule it probably may never happen.

When it comes to active members (thats the people you may consider "you know") then the player pool is even less, a couple of thousand players from several hundred million really is a drop in the ocean.

Thats why you never hear of big jackpot winners on here.

Mike
