Hi,

My name is Alexandre and this is my first post at CasinoMeister forum.
English isn't my mother language so please accept my apologies for the mistakes.
I'm reading this forum for a year now and I've decided to sign in because I couldn't find anything (here and elsewhere) about ElCasino which has closed last month, not even a single news.
Does anybody knows something about this story ?
I have to say that they don't own me anything, it was a BossMedia casino which is a good software/company and their casinos are OK, I was just wondering because it was one of the rare spanish language dedicated online casino.
I know there is a lot of other casinos with spanish translation, but it's not the same.

Alexandre

It is unusual for a Boss licensee to close down in an uncommunicative manner, although they do usually have this i.m.o. harsh condition that if your money is not withdrawn by a certain deadline it becomes forfeit to the licensee.

Some time ago Boss announced that various licensee casinos would be closing down in the months ahead, and that their focus was shifting to other core business interests. Since then a number of casinos have closed, but in each case it has been done in an open and communicative manner.

I haven't personally seen anything on the El Casino closure; were you a member and if so I presume they did not email players?

BTW the operator was listed as El Casino NV out of the Curcao jurisdiction.

BTW welcome to the forum, and congratulations on what I think is very good use of the English language!

Thanks for your answer Jetset...and for the comment about my use of the English language

I was a member and they've e-mailed me...well, I've received the following e-mail the 22th december but it was sent to a mailing list, so the recipient wasn't my e-mail adress but this one, which is unknown to me:
rosita0212@telesurf.com.py

Dear Valued Player,

Management at El Casino has decided to close the operation.

If you have any questions regarding your account please send an e-mail
to support@elcasino.com or call support at +46 470 705750.

Kind regards,

Casino Manager

El Casino

I've seen a similar message when I've tried to run the casino software.
I was suprised because they are closing right a the moment when it seems that the online gambling spanish market is starting to take off.
It's a pity because they had a well known brand and even if they've invested (maybe lost ?) a lot of money this last years, waiting for the awakening of the spanish market, they've decided to give up just at the moment when they could win back their loss...I've just realised that what I'm saying is the typical gambler's argument.
I was also suprised, and that's what conviced me to finally come and post here, that they didn't make any public communication about that.
Even CasinoCity still have the information page about ElCasino available:

I agree

I hadn't heard of ElCasino before - i guess being Spanish i hadn't really looked. So i can't help you Alexandre. I am interested to know which other casinos you have that use the Spanish language in the software though?

Cheers

Hi Simmo!
I'm sorry but I didn't understand exactly your question.
Are you asking which are the other Spanish online casinos (at least the ones I know) ?
Or are you asking if there is other online casinos using the same software (BossMedia) ?
Or maybe your question is a kind of mix of the 2 questions above (which are the Spanish online casinos using the same software) ?
Could you please clarify ?
Please, don't hesitate to reformulate a sentence, even if it looks redundant to you with something you, or somebody else, have said before.
It is the best way for me to be sure I understood correctly.

Hi Alex

Well, we don't have a lot of real spanish online casinos left.
I mean casinos which aren't just a bad traduction with a "spanish" or "espanol" subdomain.
There is few online casinos which are accesible in spanish on their main URL, written in proper spanish and offering a real spanish support...now that ElCasino is dead, I've just found out that Apuestas.com which was just another spanish online casino, has also gived up, victim of what we could called the spanish malediction.
It's amazing to see how many spanish online casinos have already closed in the past:
Fiestacasinos.com
Casinohispano.com
Casinolatinos.com
etc...
And this is just a little part of the list.
So which casinos are still alive ?
- Astrolabio.net/casino It's a GFED affiliate :machinegu no further comment
- Juegacasino.com.es They are OK, the software seems fair (I've never withdrawed there and I've never had contacts with them) but their games looks so ugly and they just have 11 games which 5 are slots :(
- Casino-Solera.com For me, it's the best we have in Spain, the software seems fair, they pay fast, the support is professional, the casino's theme is really nice.
I've played blackjack, roulette (I would have appreciate a single zero roulette), stud poker but I play more often at slots (the Jules Verne, The Liberty Bell and the London are my favourite).
Do you know a casino powered by MicroGaming (one of my favourite casino software) which is fully available in spanish (with spanish support) ?
What do you think about InterCasino and GoldenPalace, are they OK ? Both have a espana.intercasino.com and es.goldenpalace.com sudomain.

Hi everybody,

First off all, I would like to thank paul02085 and jsp377 for their answers.
Ive just seen that CasinoMeister will act as an independent arbitrator between players and InterCasino:
https://www.casinomeister.com/static/news/january2006.html

I couldnt find any thread commenting this news anywhere on the forum. Its a pity because its seems its important and its quit something new that a casino operator mandate a casino watchdog website, especially CasinoMeister, to resolve players/casino disputes.
When I was asking about InterCasino, it was because Ive seen that they were receiving a lot of distinctions as it can be seen on their website:

On the other side, Ive read a lot of bad things about them in the past from the website Cryptologicsucks.com, but when I started checking the sources, Ive learned who was Claude Levy and the impressive amount of bullshit this man was able to write.
I went to visit one of his online casinos, lasvegascasino.com, and all my firewall and antivirus systems started bleeping as if my computer was under a massive hackers attack.
I couldnt even try the games for fun.
The fact is that at the time I discovered the Cryptologicsucks.com website, I truly believed all the bullshits I was reading there and as far as I can see when I perform a search on this forum, a lot of people here believe the same, even if every time, theres a senior member showing up and explaining the facts.
My point is that this kind of websites, developed by competitors, can hurt badly the reputation of a casino.
Its exactly whats happening in this post:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/cryptologicsucks-com.3824/

Even worth is this kind of rumoursand I believed it myself until I became a regular reader of this forum:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...ey-solursh-from-cryptologic-inc-in-jail.6468/

The problem is that a lot of members believe this crap and its easier to attack a casino than to defend itI believed myself at the beginning that Bryan Bailey was defending crooks.
When I understood that all this story was a hoax, I must admit that I was impressed by the patience and the pedagogy the Meister was showing every time a different member of this forum was asking again and again (ignoring the Search feature) about Cryptologicsucks.com website or about the 100.000$ reward to get Jenny and Harvey Solursh from Cryptologic in jail:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/search/

Im sorry but I have to go to a meeting. I will answer jsp377 about Casino Solera and B3W Group when I come back.

Casinomeister News on January 20 this year:

INTERCASINO APPOINTS BAILEY AS INDEPENDENT ARBITRATOR

Independent rulings will be binding on Intercasino group casinos

Bryan Bailey's role in mediating problems for players on a free of charge basis as part of his Casinomeister services has been formalised by the well established Intercasino group this week.

A notice just up on all Intercasino sites announces the following:

"To further increase the protection and enhance the playing experience for all players The InterCasino Group has unveiled a unique programme in conjunction with top industry watchdog Casinomeister.com, that offers a completely Independent Arbitration Service.

"This service is a groundbreaking step by The InterCasino Group to further cement their solid programme of player protection and offer all players unrivalled customer service.

"In the unlikely event of a complaint, InterCasino players must follow a few simple rules before they can approach Casinomeister.com for an independent decision.

"The issue must first be discussed with the InterCasino Support Team and Casino Manager. If this process results in an unsatisfactory response for the player, the player can then approach Casinomeister.com for an independent decision.

"Players must contact Casinomeister.com using the application below. A response will be returned within 7 days.
"Players that approach Casinomeister.com understand that all Casinomeister.com decisions are completely independent and final.

"Casinomeister.com has the ability to offer, if deemed justified, a resolution or financial compensation to a player who has followed the above procedures."

The arrangement is a welcome and transparent step forward in player dispute resolution which should speed up the passage of any disputes at both casino management and arbitrator level.

It will be watched with interest by other reputable online casino operators who are player-sensitive.

Hi Jetset,

I dont know if youve seen it but I've posted the link to the news at the beginning of my post.
By the way, maybe you pasted the news here because I didnt explain myself properly;
I wasnt saying that I couldnt find anything about this news in CasinoMeister, I was saying that I couldnt find any thread commenting this news anywhere on the forum.
It isnt maybe a big deal for the members of CasinoMeister because they already have the chance to be represented by Bryan when there is a serious problem with a casino but I thought it was important as this announcement makes it much more official and maybe, I can only suppose, it changes the way players complains will be handled with InterCasino.
Maybe we could have few words from Bryan about the details of the arrangement because the text is presented as an announcement, between quotes, done by Intercasino but I cant find any comment on behalf of CasinoMeister ?
I know Ive slipped off the subject here so maybe it would be better to open a new thread if you think it deserves an answer.

Hi Alexandre,

I did actually announce this in the Casinomeister News announcement section of the forum and on the main website (there's more to Casinomeister than just a forum :D). The news announcement section is pruned weekly since this how often the news is updated (in most cases).

Intercasino made the announcement on their sites and in their newsletter - as did I. It just never spilled over to here in forumland.

Bryan thanks for your answer.
I saw the news, I was just wondering why nobody was talking about it in the forum.
I would like to go further because it is important for me and, I think, for many other newbies which could be tricked easily by false assumptions.
This news had a big impact on me. When I first saw it, I remembered all the bullshits I had read in the CryptologicSucks website.
Because of these bullshits and because I believed it, I have never played for real at InterCasino and I would probably never discover the truth without this news.
I couldnt believe that CasinoMeister was going to give this kind of credit to a rogue casino, so I started searching more information about Cryptologic, CryptologicSucks, InterCasino, etc
Im a newbie as an online casino player, but I work on Internet since 2000 and Im a good professional in the Search Engine Marketing business.
My job makes me aware of what a hoax is.
My clients have sometimes similar problematic:
What kind of websites appears when googling for my brand or products name ?
In other words, how to control the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page) for my brand an product names, but also for my competitors brand an product names, doing to them exactly what I fear they could do to me; creating content which gives bad information about my competitors and their products, hosted on a website which cant be related to me and which should looks like to a users website or even better, to a group a users which are telling to the entire world how the product they bought is a piece of crap.
I rarely get abused by this kind of tactics because its part of my job, but I must admit that in this case, I bought the story from CryptologicSucks.
The main reason why this happened is because English isnt my mother language and I couldnt notice, at the first look, the strange tone of these articles as Masgyver explains in his post:
Link Outdated / Removed
The second reason is the incredible abundance of these articles when you search, for example, for Jenny and Harvey Solursh Cryptologic in Googlethe guy (Claude Levy) did a strong job:
Link Removed (invalid URL)
I can see almost 700 results about webpages, all saying the same thing.700 webpages cant be wrong or bought by someone ?
The truth appears if you look further. Youll notice that these 700 webpages are hosted on 17 websites (just check at the bottom of the Google results page) and that the articles are always the same, rewritten again and again :
Link Removed (invalid URL)
This is the typical hoax signature almost the same content, duplicated on many pages, hosted on a low number of websites.

I though that this news would be a great opportunity to open a thread explaining that Cryptologic is an honest software designer, same for InterCasino as an operator, and re-open the CryptologicSucks.com, the Jenny and Harvey Solursh in jail and all the same kind of bullshit discusses, to finally close it for good.
I have to say that I have no affiliation with them and as I told I have never played there.
Its just that for the same reason that, as a player, I want to have trustable information about who are the good and the rogue casinos (and CasinoMeister is as far as I know the best place were I can find that), I feel its unfair to see an honest company being slandered. Ive noticed that every time it has happened on CasinoMeister, a senior member came and explained the all story, but I felt that this news could have been a good opportunity to reaffirm the truth in a public thread (which could be a useful thread to show to the newbies when asking about the credibility of the information published on Cryptologicsucks.com)Ill stop now because I see Im repeating myself, sorry if Im heavy.
