Why casinos (MrGreen looking at you) shouldn't attempt sportsbooks

So on one of the 4 days of the year when £20000+ bets are as common as people losing a gamble on WHTBAM or Extra Chilli, I decided to spread my bets round and use a couple of the less known ones at big casinos. So one I tried was MrGreen. Oh dear.

My bet a 50p EW Lucky 15, so a stake of £15.

Horses were (from memory) 20/1, 33/1, 33/1 and 150/1.

Placed bet. Stakes too high, they will be reduced and you can rebet.
Said 45p, I was like, seriously, whats the point for 5p. Tried to place it again, making sure I added the EW, same again, tried again at 10p EW, nope stakes too high, 5p, stakes too high. Worked out, it was the EW part causing the problem, so I could bet them to win but not to get placed.

WTF would I want to back a 150-1 outsider of the field win only for?
Tried Skybet, would let me do £10 EW no problem (although did tell me my winnings would be limited to £1 million and I was overstaking)
BetVictor, WH, Coral, Paddy Power, Boylesports & Unibet all would let me put it on at stakes up to £5 (highest I tried) but MrGreen not only 45p but win only.

That is a complete pisstake and if thats the way they are running the sportsbook then just remove it as they will never get serious punters to play there.
