We take a look. Full details: Slot Streamers: Who Are They? - Casinomeister
Great post I was watching one myself yesterday he pops on to millionaire £10 spins in no time at all bonus drops in and he hits £25k just like that.Just read the article and I find it written overly positive, no information about if and how they promote responsible gaming, whether they explain to their viewers that the bonuses they receive differ from what we as a normal player will get (Max stake on bonus money as one of the most important differences here).
I was watching a streamer for a short while this morning as I had to do some work from home and had the stream running on my laptop and I was more looking at the questions and comments from viewers and more than once a viewer asked the streamer why he was allowed to do €10.00 / €20.00 spins on Jamming Jars while on a bonus as they did also deposit with a bonus through his link and they were only allowed to make €5.00 bets.
These questions were ignored as if they were not there and the only thing this streamer mentioned in between was something like, if the casino wants to give me this bonus under these conditions, why should I not take it.
Nothing about, listen here guys, I am a big ass streamer and I am here to reel you all in to this casino I am promoting, hence I get better offers.
Also the streamer won a 300x stake bonus on a €10.00 bet and was giving out as it was ONLY €3000.00 he won, just pocket change eey.
Again, nothing against streamers in general as it is a nice way to earn some income and I used to watch FatsoPlays (Where did he go, miss him).
But he was playing with small deposits and did bets as low as €0.30 but up to like €3.00 if balance allowed.
So much more enjoyable.
I hope this whole thing of high stakes streaming will be made illegal in the very near feature, no need for it and absolutely dangerous to the weaker ones among us gamblers.
Selling dope is illegal, well this is selling a different form of dope to a lot of degenerate addicts.
If you see some of the comments during a live stream, I am just thinking, please mate / woman, GET HELP!
Go on. Live a littleOoo another streamer thread.
Tempted...
But no.
Poorly researched article with lots of missed opportunities.
No mention of how most of the streamers mentioned started off with £0.20 stakes and as time progressed upped their stakes as the "cock waving exercise" started.
These days many start no lower then €2 and up quite quickly to €5 or more... Ofcourse there are some exceptions but unless they stream on non-peak hours they won't get many viewers.
That’s the thing, when it was just a hobby and for entertainment to make a few quid that was fine.If you go back into time, £0.60 to £2 bets were the norm. It only took one to do higher bets that appears to attract more viewers. Others than had to follow that trend and up the stakes went.
A few months ago, there was a new Youtube video producer doing £0.10 bets on Netent slots. Only the other week he did a £1000 bonus hunt.
Back in the old days, slot streaming was seen as a hobby with any income from it supplementing perhaps another job. These days it has turned into a full time profession for some.
Give me back the old days.......
Whoever wrote it has just called @CraiGDaniel a bone:
"Craig Slots: Craig Slots is another Youtube streamer who’s built a loyal following thanks to his vibrant, no-hold-bars approach to streaming. He has no qualms about speaking his mind, and is a humerus"
I'm streaming tonight. First stream in 3 years
£2k v Big Time Gaming (bonus hunt)

I can promise the newly-enthused converts wanting to catch Nicola's stream are in no way wanting to gawp at her, no siree

I don't watch streamers, punkSpeak for yourself
Ehh right and also no mention of stealing each other’s content to lure in more affiliate earnings.....Poorly researched article with lots of missed opportunities.

No mention of the practice of doing deposit / sign up based competitions / giveaways and the legality of these.
No mention of view/chat bot practices to get the channel higher on the Casino listing page of Twitch
As Lotusch mentioned, the issue to responsible gambling.
