Hello fellow forum members :) ,

For quite some time now, I was wondering where other posters have had their best luck. Not necessarily the names of the casinos, but specifically which software provider their casino of luck is/was using.

Now, I understand that it may be pointless to look any further, because as we generally know, MG and Cryptologic are widely regarded as the most fair, and will pay-out at the end of the day. A wide-range of PlayTech's, RTG's, Boss Media's, and others, do not. Having said that, while I prefer MG and Cryptologic casinos because of their standards, I've not necessarily done any better playing them as opposed to the others.

If I could think about where I had my best luck, down to where I had my worst luck, this is what the list would look like...

#1 - PlayTech

#2 - Cassava

#3 - Cryptologic

#4 - RTG

#5 - MG

#6 - Boss Media

-------------------------------------------------------------------

- *G-Fed

- *OddsOnn

This is the list of the casinos I've deposited the most of my money into over the +4 years I've been playing online.

#1 - PlayTech

#2 - MG

#3 - Cassava

#4 - RTG

#5 - Boss Media

#6 - Cryptologic

Note that I hadn't listed G-Fed nor OddsOnn because I had never deposited at these casinos, although I had taken them up on their no deposit bonuses that have been offered over the years. I should note that while G-Fed is certainly rogue material (they should just call it G-"Rogue"), off of the 5 G-Fed casinos that I've played at, I'd managed to do quite well each time. Not sure if the results would be the same IF I were to ever deposit (which will never happen in a million years).

Now, I know that PlayTech takes quite a few hits here, and understandably so. Heck, I originally came to Casinomeister.com because of my becoming impatient and worrisome about their delayed payments, not to mention bottoming-out on literally every sticky bonus that they'd frequently credit to my account.

Having said that, over the years, I'd done incredibly well at PlayTech's in general. From '02-03, I had incredible luck with their multi-hand BJ, their VP, and more recently, I've done relatively well on their slots (although these are based on meager deposits).

Cassava (888.com) probably has the best BJ (although no longer visually appealing these days) on the net, maybe the best card games on the net. Harrods may be equal, but personally, it's a not-too-distant second from my experience.

***

Anyways, to keep things simple, I was wondering where others have had their best luck. Remember, not specific casinos, but which software provider the casino uses. Also, not who pays the quickest, who offers the best bonuses, loyalty programs... no. Just which software you've had your best luck with.

Thank you. :)

Here is my list..

1. MG
2. Grand Virtual
3. Cryptologic
4. RTG

I just don't get lucky with playtechs... so I did stop playing them...
I think you just can't generalise by software... but it will be quite interesting to read the postings here just to find out the favorite software what people like the most...
It depends on lots of things if the software works for you...
betting strategies.. amounts deposit and your betting limits per game...
but thats gets to specific for this post here... and wasn't the intention of this post anyway..

good luck to everyone...
whatever for software works for you... stick to it...

I can see what you're saying Andreas, and personally, I like MG software the most (in terms of fun, options, and graphics). But, this isn't about favorite (favourite ;), playing both sides of the pond) as opposed to just where you've been the "luckiest". Heck, I might have considered listing G-Fed (based on luck), but I never deposited there, and I certainly wouldn't want to promote them.

Anyhow, thank you guys for your responses.

 I know... my engl. is a little rusty... :) it allways gets me back on track if someone corrects me.... thank's... the problem is, I was living in the states for about three years.. I got there with almost no engl. language skills.. So basically I learnd this language to speek on the streets, but its very hard for me to write correcty because just of the fact that I never learned it correctly... I talk a lot better than I write... I hope my english is at least understandable.... 35 and still learning... :) and... I'm not mad at all if someone corrects me... It just helps me to get better with it...

I know that this was going a little far for this thread, it was just asked for the software what has been the most generous.... I was trying to keep this short.... sorry about making this to complicated.... wasn't my intention...
but my opinion is that it depends exactly on such things and more that you get the most out of it....
may we start another tread for this...

Anyway, the most generous software to me:
1. MG
2. Grand Virtual
3. Cryptologic
4. RTG

Good Luck

The biggest wins always come from where one plays the most....the old bait-in-the-water-catches-the-fish analogy. So for me the biggest wins have come from MG, namely What On Earth, Golden Gopher, Good-To-Go, Jacks or Better and also a big win from Net Entertainment, Keno (which has a decent return% at Cherry, as Keno goes.... Caruso don't even start;)) which I believe is my biggest win at 4,000 bucks, for a 5 dollar bet.

As for which software has generally been the luckiest, which was the original question, well it's hard to say. I feel Playtech has always given me a good bang for my buck, possibly because I play smaller-variance games there. Trouble is I don't find the Playtech games very exciting. Maybe the new 20-line slots will do the trick.

But I think Net Entertainment's software has been the luckiest for me. I haven't even played there that much, and I've scored a few big Keno wins, a 10,000 coin jackpot on a slot, and generally my bankroll lasts a long time there. The problem with Net Entertainment is, the casinos can tailor their payouts so make sure you check the paytables. I think Cherry has the most generous paytables.

Then again, as you know Steed I don't believe in any of that :) so I rarely (<5%) play other than MG, because they've got the best casinos, or rather The best casino IMO. I'll just wait for luckier days.

Truth be told, I've played at Intercasino a bit recently, and my luck notwithstanding, I don't like any of their new slots, the superhero slots for instance.

Sorry about digressing as usual:oops:

Cheers,
SM

Not at all Andreas. My apologies, I see how that could have come across as being rude. I was trying being "worldly" there. :D As far as I know, Europeans generally write it as "favourite", whereas as North Americans generally write it out as "favorite" (at least that's what my Webster's Dictionary is saying). So, just to be clear, I wasn't correcting you in the least. Actually, upon visiting my friends and family back in my motherland, I noticed that they could use lots of English lessons. ;) And at times, so could I.

ERROR - After submitting this thread, I noticed that I had used generous as opposed to luckiest. While I meant to use generous in the context of luck, it could be taken as those casinos which are most generous to us. I can't edit the thread title, but I can clear this up now. Just simply, what software have you the most luck playing on.

I'm not looking at bonuses, comps, loyalty programs, B-Day and X-Mas specials, great customer support, most fun, best graphics, best games... none of that. Just where you've been the luckiest with the games.

I would have to say Crypto & MG are pretty equal, and WagerWorks has been pretty good to me too! Don't really play any others enough to form an opinion.

Going back to your original post I would say I've made most profit (which is the only sort of luck I'm really interested in) at Crypto's (mainly due to bonuses, comps, loyalty programs, B-Day and X-Mas specials, etc... ;) )

No need to appologize, I didn't found this rude at all... I guess I did understand what you are trying to say... ....

so then it looks like I was eventually right with the spelling, I probably learned the north american version... :)
Maybe there still is another version for europeans what where learning the language in north america... :) any suggestions anyone???

maybe some people would be kind of mad correcting them, but not me... So, no headaches....

Good Luck

You're quite right SM, as I would generally stick with the trusted list of casinos (and stick with The best casino ;) ). I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to PlayTech, as opposed to sticking with the best in the business (32Red, RoxyPalace, Trident Group, InterCasino, ect...)

If the majority of PlayTech casinos were on par with MG casinos, in regards to customer support/quick payouts/recognizable licensees/ect... I'd imagine that they would be 2nd if not equal to MG in terms of dominance. I would agree that MG games are better, but that would be specifically with the slots (not necessarily the other games... which are more even). I certainly love playing Chinese Kitchen and Vacation Station, and some of those newer games (that were introduced recently) are okay (not great either), but I think that PlayTech is falling behind the competition with not offering as many great slots. Where PlayTech does have the advantage though, is that a few of their casinos offer live BJ, and while not everyone will agree, their comp/loyalty points build-up quickly. If all PlayTech casinos were like the MainStreet group or Bet365, we'd be looking at them much differently.

I guess I should check-out the new 20-line slots, I've not seen them either. But I will say this, the flash version for PlayTech's are quite nice. They've been making some nice touches with their software lately (ditto with Cryptologic).

Ditto. I really wanted to like them, they're fun... but it's not fun going forever without hitting any features.

It's nice to see that you had some luck with Net Entertainment's software.

I've yet to play with that software.

Thank you everyone :) .

(about the crypto Superhero slots) I played only a little bit, and hit the Hulk feature all the way to about a $150 win on a 2.25 bet couple times, but I busted out before WR anyway, and I still don't like them because they're real ugly (in Xmen I can never figure out if I have a winning line or not) and the bonus feature is overdone IMO, runs real slow on my computer, too. But that's just my opinion.

I like the playtech Flash casino, too. Works on my Mac without a hitch, loads fast and it's got all the games as far as I know and not just a selection. And if you have a short budget for the night, Capn's Treasure will let you play a long time usually.

I wish MG enhanced their Flash casino to work on different systems. I hate that "your browser is not supported" message. If playtech can do it, why not MG? I hate to have to fire up the Virtual PC every time I play MG. I mean, 10% of computers are macs, so there's a good number of customers who would like to see a Mac friendly Flash casino. 888.com startpage offers "Mac OS X Casino games".

Cheers,
SM

for the longest time Oddson was very lucky for me...for about a year or more I took home a royal flush at least twice a month. Then it dried up and I don't play there anymore. Since then, MG is KING.

I generally always use MG flash version because the full-download version is a nightmare on my PIII computer (although it's a loaded PIII that can play almost any computer game). I also have never cared that the MG flash version doesn't carry every game (because again, I can't play the newer games in regular mode). And yes, I also agree that the PlayTech flash version loads swiftly.

I think it's a sloppy and lazy design on MG's part, because looking at their games, there's little reason as to why you couldn't play those games an older system. Why all the steep system requirements? It's not like we're playing "Call Of Duty II" or '06 versions of any EA SPORTS games, which have the best graphics that you're going to see, and understandably will require more from your Pentium/Mac.

Side-note: Not that I'm expecting anyone to know what I'm talking about, but way back in '96 when WarCraft II came out, it was a very sharp looking game at the time. While literally all new games at that time required a P1/75 (minimum) to run, I think the great design team (BLIZZARD) made the game so it could still be played on the old 486 PCs (not even a Pentium!!!). So it baffles me that MG games require so much space, when honestly, it's nice on the eyes, but isn't exactly cutting-edge (compared to the newer computer games).

Side-note II: I'm going a little off-topic here, but I can't understand why InterCasino takes forever to load, as opposed to Littlewoods Casino. They're using the same software, why so long for InterCasino? :what:

Thats just the quality of the gamingservers and network connections...
Online casinos should allways use the fastest and most reliable servers and connections...
The software itself can't have anything to do with this... But the software can only work fast on fast servers with gigs and gigs of memory...

It also depends on how many players are online and playing in the casino at the same time... then its just normal that the gamingservers are sometimes slow... Its just on the casinos to put up more memory to avoid the slowdown of the servers... many forget about this but having on the other side steady growing playerbases...

basically you can compare this with a normal website... just take this forum here or any other membersites, it will make a big difference if 100 members are online or 2000... you defenetly will see the difference... by the way, the server of the meister is great... Casinos are usually keeping up adding memory... it appears that some of them just don't keeping this in mind...
I guess I didn't tell anything new here.. thats just my experience with servers and connections...

> Highspeed connections and sofisticated server technology == enjoyment pure...

ok, lets get back to the original topic.... :)

Cheers

My best run would have had to be at lasseters followed by PlayUnited (though their practices are shady at best)

I generally always use MG flash version because the full-download version is a nightmare on my PIII computer

Hey John Steed, the computer I got for myself is only a PIII, and I have no problems whatsoever with full download MG casinos. I did have my puter modified slightly when I bought it....it's all I could afford at the time. I had some concerns, but so far all has been good. I did get extra RAM installed, and a much larger hard drive, but that's about it. Now my only problem is that I have way too many casinos installed. I think that's a project for this week, is to clean this puter up. Seeing as I only play about three casinos max now, I am going to remove all else.

On to your question....

Microgaming, lol. The reason being that is the only software that I play anymore.

Now I did cashout 7K at VIP Casinos, before they switched to RTG, I'm not even sure what software it was they used, but I liked it alot. Tons of the neatest slot games, with tons of big paying bonus rounds, lol. I don't play Playtech period anymore. And I seem to get quite lucky with freebie chips from RTG, and do make the occasional small deposit at a couple of reputable RTG's. Matter of fact, I just received payment of $50 from a $5 freebie on an RTG chip. Just my luck though, it wasn't the most reputable casino, and it took me 18 days, about 30 emails, numerous live chat sessions, and tons of bitching to get my $50. It's the principle of the thing. Now the cashiers have sent the $50 to my old, now disabled, Firepay account...and I have to get Firepay to transfer the funds to my new account. So much work for $50.....whew.

I've also had some pretty nice luck at Lasseter's in the past, but have never been smart enough to cashout.

Hi Pinababy69 :) .

All I know is that whenever I play a game like Thunderstruck, or a Tomb Raider (in full download version), I can't see any of the spins while they're happening. The screen is almost completely black (although everything is still being played as usual). My Samsung computer has a pretty good video card, and it has lots of memory. Out of frustration one time, I literally deleted every file (games/videos/music/casinos) to make room, just in case that was in fact the problem. It wasn't. I had the A/S man come and check-it-out (as he plays as well), and nothing could be done. Thus, I had no choice but to use the Flash Version. Not necessarily for each game (a large percentage can still be played in the full download version), but most certainly for the games that have been introduced over the past couple of years. For the life of me, I can't see why there are such steep requirements to get it run properly.

I've been fortunate enough to play some of the newest computer games, which require a P-4, and games which have wonderful/rich graphics. I like MG graphics, but I can't see why they're so demanding (on my computer anyhow).

1- Grand Virtual
2- MicroGaming
3- PlayTech
4- RTG

All of my biggest withdravals was in GV and PlayTech.
But in Microgaming i win usually ^^

Maybe I am the only one but I have really no idea of which software I have won the most on.

However, I would bet that Crypto casinos have paid me the most, but this is all due to their monthlies

Well, considering that this thread is basically a year old now, here's an update on how I did this past year.

1st - PlayTech
2nd - Microgaming
3rd - RTG
4th - Cryptologic
5th - Rival

This has been a great year for me, as I've done really well on all the major platforms.

I pretty much ignored PlayTech in '05, and was lured back over the summer because I was looking to try their slots. Impressed with that, while being impressed with a small handful of their top tiered outfits, I'm back on the (albeit) small PlayTech express. Even when the "FREE SPINS" don't come on the slots, I've been fortunate enough to keep getting solid hits to keep me in the action. I can't say that for any other slot, say for Rival.

I was also surprised that MG's started getting hot for me. Not only did I surpass the $2,000 barrier for the first time, I even went as high as $3,000! Although I've done that countless times on PlayTech, I'm still pleased with the game play in '06, because I was REALLY pissed-off what drek I was getting in '05... the worst I've ever seen.

There were some BIG hits on RTG, but I've gone sour on their software in the past couple of months. I don't care for the whole adjusting the payouts thing, or how about, just being aware of it. Nevertheless, I think that RTG has made the greatest strides this past year in the "Winner Screenshots" thread. The "Real-Time Series" has been a success for them... but boy, do they ever get cold... and frozen lifeless cold like you'd find on Pluto... brrr...

I was about even on Cryptologic casinos this year. I like the variations of slots that they have, and I think that they're the most unique in terms of creativity with their games (I can't say the same for MG). I'll be going to Cryptologic casinos more often in '07, although I promised myself that I would do that in '06.

My order is: Best Overall Luck

1. Brick & Mortar -- The winning slot spin that started it all pulls this up. My net gain is nearly 10x the overall amount I have wagered.

2. Parlay -- I have only played at Winward and Vega. I roughly doubled my deposit + bonus each time I played at Winward. I have a good sized gain at Vega as well.

3. Microgaming -- Somewhat mixed results. I have had fantastic luck at times and poor luck at others. Overall my gains, have been well above expectations. I have a much better record with first deposits than subsequent ones.

4. Boss Media -- Very mixed results. The first casino I ever played at was Casino.net. I had perhaps the luckiest experience I have ever had online while playing there. After Casino.net banned me from receiving bonuses, my luck seemed to change. I consistently lost at other BM casinos and stopped using this software.

5. Random Logic / Cassava -- I've only played at 888/Casino on Net and have a gain well above expectations.

6. Net Entertainment / Instaplay -- My gains were above expecations with Casino Euro and Cherry. Most of my play was at these two. My gains elsewhere were below expectations.

7. Cryptologic -- Gains above expectations

8. Grand Virtual -- Gains above expectations

9. Live Dealer via Video -- Gains above expectations

10. BTD -- Gains above expectations

11. SIA -- I played once and had gains above expectations.

12. Propriatary -- Gains slightly above expectations

13. XTech -- Gains slightly above expectations

14. Real Time Gaming -- Very mixed results. Incredibly good luck at times, and incredibly poor luck at other times. I recently made $700 in one minute by betting $100 per hand while thinking I was still in practice mode rather than real mode, and using incorrect strategy on some hands.

15. Odds On -- Mixed results. One win far above expecations and one loss far below expectations.

16. Playtech -- Overall resuls slightly below expecations.

17. Lasseters -- I played once and did worse than expected.

18. Rival -- I played once and did worse than expected.

19. iGlobalMedia -- I've always disliked this software. My gains have been consistently below expectations.

20. Wager21 -- I'm convinced their Pai Gow game is unfair. I don't know if I should call this "bad luck."

21. Casinova -- It should not be a surprise to see this one last.

NA -- I cannot play at Chartwell, Kismet, or Wagerworks as I am from the US.
