William Hill wins this hands down!!!

1. Customer Service. Useless. It's probably a new system in place, but now, it takes ages to get hold of CS.

2. Software. The willhill.com site is so often "under maintenance". The software in unreliable, etc.

3. Possible cheating. Having been a "high roller" customer of William Hill for many years now, I am dismayed that a winning bet yesterday was not paid out. I have screenshots to prove this.

Conclusion? William Hill is not a safe and reputable place anymore.

I actually agree about WH. They offered me some crappy bonus not to close my account. I told them no thanks and close Im not interested in their company

1. Fair enough

3. Can we see the screenshots please? It's a serious allegation you're making.

I think it's attached.

Basically, I placed a wager at 7:55pm yesterday. 7-fold, all 8pm Europa League games. All 7 won. WH say that my bet was "settled" before kick-off at 8pm.

The odd thing? WH know me well, in fact, I placed a similar bet for the 6pm Europa League matches, among other bets. Only the winning one was miraculously cancelled. I raised this with them. They said that "I" cancelled the bet. So, I placed a bet at 7:55pm, and the somehow managed to cancel it before 8pm kickoff, for a loss. And... the cancelled bet was the one that won. All other bets (which lost) were not cancelled. In fact, another bet placed soon after (like a minute later), which lost, was not cancelled.

Very odd!

Oh yeah, and to add.....
I raised this issue with them. I was basically pissed off with their CS, who instantly placed the blame with me, without even checking things. I then made a withdrawal for 800, placed the rest on golf. Talk about childish behaviour. WH decides to "hold" my withdrawal. I checked hours later, it wasn't in my Moneybookers account. So, I had to call up CS, which is a great challenge these days. As soon as I called, it was released. If I didn't know better, I'd say that they were annoyed with my e-mail and wanted to wind me up.

I don't mind. The golf bets won, so i am now enjoying it on some casino games.

Too many issues with WH in recent times. They've become a real joke. Like my username says - fed up. Their loss.

Update:

I've looked through all my WH logs from 2007 (I save my logs monthly). There was only one occasion where I cancelled a bet - a few years ago, where I called and e-mailed to have the wager cancelled.

So, WH is sticking to the con that I not cancelled now, but "settled" a wager..... for a loss! Apparently, I settled this wager (the only one that won out of the many I placed that day and for a loss) within 5 minutes of placing the bet and before any of the football games commencing. But here's the best part of it all..... once placed, a bet cannot be cancelled (or "settled"), unless one calls in or e-mail customer support. Which I did not. It's clearly a fault on their end, or someone within WH messing around with my account. Why I say this? My withdrawal methods were all screwed up that very same day.

The gist? I'll close my account, take my patronage somewhere else. What else? I will actively urge friends, fellow poker players, etc. to stay away from them. Their loss - in every sense.
