I've often wondered where all the Meister's Children live, as many posters don't have their real location in their profile.
So I'd appreciate if everyone would 'vote' your location anonymously via this poll!

Of particular interest in the light of recent events - I'd like to see what proportion of members will soon no longer be able to play at online casinos. :(

Eastern Europe = East from Czech Republic
Western Europe = West from Italy/Germany, including Scandinavia.

I put UK separately 'cos we're not quite really in Europe, are we!
(Where else does it cost over 100 to cross into the next country, as it does just going 20 miles from England to France? )

And I included 'Other Planets' for the likes of Tennis Balls, Darth Vader, etc :p

29.99 on Eurostar :)
Or free if you are a strong swimmer.

Good question though KK - I've been wondering that too

I'm still considering the move to another planet.......

You're more than welcome to check-out this new terraforming base we're setting-up here on planet LV-426. I expect BIG things from this planet, it's got the potential to someday be the next "Cloud-City", Bespin, but they've been saying that about other cities on other planets for years now...

Hey, it was a coin-toss between here and Dubai. Unfortunately, I really wanted to buy up the entire set of artificial islands named "The World" (archipelago), but the scum behind Nakheel Properties gave me the cold shoulder. Blast them all!

Do you ever recall that dream from eons ago, when Beatrice Arthur sang in the Cantina?

It really did happen! Unfortunately, I'm NOT getting any royalties on this sucker because they pulled the plug on it the same year it was released ('78).

I cant see anyone here wanting to move to LV-426 when you get better tax breaks for gambling on TY-12 in the outer quadrant. You guys are still soooo 20th century.

Eurostar not a lot of good for us non jet-setters.
When we go we are driving to Czech Republic - this requires that we take a car... :p

I am a strong swimmer - but that luggage just drags me down... :(

With budget airlines sometimes you can fly for as little as 1p+tax. :D

Yeah, we do that sometimes. But it's always nicer to have your car for getting around.
Also, by the time you pay for your (extortionate) airport parking & two lots of tickets (even though very cheap!), it's not a lot less cost than driving. Then we also don't have a car the other end - to hire one would definitely make driving our own car the cheaper option!
Anyway, it's only 900 miles door to door & only takes about 18 hours driving... :eek2:
