Whine and Moan When is it NOT a bank holiday or a weekend at CWG casinos?

Why is it every time I make a withdrawl request there is always a bank holiday that prolongs processing? It seems like it doesn't matter if it's in the UK, somewhere in western Europe, Nordics, or Netherlands. The fact is, if there is a bank holiday somewhere, it's observed. It doesn't matter if it's just merely accepting the request and taking it out of "reversable" status which has nothing to do with bank holidays.

Throw in the no processing on weekends and the limitation of ACH as the sole remaining withdrawl option. Heaven help us if there is another royal wedding.

I've never seen a business observe more financial holidays. The one in Switzerland was apparently observed today which means my pending withdrawl request remains reversable and unprocessed until tomorrow.

It's bad enough now that QT is gone and some of us have no other choice other than ACH. This means if the request I made on Wednesday is finally processed tomorrow then it's 7 business days until I'll see it which means Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon-Tues-Wed-Thur-Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon-Tues = 11 DAYS.

That is of course there isn't another holiday during that time.

Fantastic.

I understand your frustration! I really do, but in all fairness to CWC, Monday was a banking holiday in the UK. It was the Spring Bank Holiday. It is on my calendar.

I know it prolongs things, but just try and be patient. I know it is easier said then done, but everyone gets paid holidays off no matter where on the globe you live.

Fantastic.

1. Bank holidays mean banks are closed. Casinos have funds/banks/processors scattered all over the globe. No banky no cashy.

2. People in the USA might as well get used to the WD process taking forever - holiday or no. It isn't as easy as we think getting funds from there to here. And if you think it's bad now... it's only going to get worse (IMHO).

CW is a reputable group, and you'll get paid.

That's great and everything, but they shouldn't be telling me it will be processed "the next day" and then not do it.

Withdrawl was made on Wednesday, was told on Thursday it would be processed on Friday(Today). When I contacted them today why it hasn't been processed, they said it will now be processed on Monday. So that is 3 more days where my money will just be sitting there and not in process.

Don't set the expectation with a player and then not follow through.

Yes, I agree. You are right. They should not be telling you that it would be processed at a certain time and then not do it.

I also noticed that on the CM picks, it says 24 hours for withdrawals, maybe that should be changed. It used to be within 24 hours, but lately, reading all the posts on her about how long it is taking, it has been more like 72 or more hours.

I think what irritates me most is that it appears deliberate as there is no reason to keep the withdrawl in reversable status regardless of bank holidays.

I guess my point is that by Monday, if my withdrawl finally moves beyond reversible status, it will have been 5 full days before the processing actually begins. This was supposed to be processed today since yesterday was a bank holiday and it didn't happen. So now they've said now it'll be Monday with the reversible option still in place over the weekend of course. I won't be shocked to find out that the ACH option won't be functioning by the time this actually gets around to being processed.

I just feel this is a far cry from the accredited 24 hour processing window that the CM list requires.

Sorry for the rant..

I think Mousey is correct.

Monday was a bank holiday here in the US. So in all actuality, nothing moved from Friday night until Monday morning. Then it takes then a day or so to catch up.

The way things are going in the US right now, if you find a casino that will let you pay and play you, you are dang lucky.

We, as US players, are just going to have to bite the bullet and accept delays or use your other option and not play online at all.

What irritates me as mentioned in a previous post is that they haven't updated their standard responses to w/d communications.

My last two withdrawals were processed in 7 and 8 business days after approval.

Last night I went to chat to question status of w/d at a CWG site. I was told to be patient that it is taking approximately 5 business days. I told them that I was already at 6 business days.

Then she said well there have been delays so it taking 8-9 days......

I told her that I was willing to be patient, but that I didn't appreciate the fact that I regularly get quoted different time frames. I explained that as long as you are truthful with me, I can be patient and understand the difficulties. But when I get a different answer all the time it is frustrating.

I am still not concerned about getting paid ---- I just want to know realistically what I can count on for time period.

I agree that CS should have more realistic as to the true timeframe for WD. For anyone other than US players, they may very well get processed and receive their money in a timely fashion. These are worrisome times and the few good casinos are madly scrambling to make it work.

The solution, of course, would be for all online casinos to lock out all US players. Then they wouldn't have to worry about getting money from here to there or back again, at all.

Do I think US players should just swallow it? No. I do think if a casino is going to keep US players and accept their deposits, CS should be better informed as to what is going on with WDs so they may honestly inform players. But with the current 'climate', even that may be difficult to do.
