Just do as you are blooming told girl! They don't issue evac. orders for fun. Especially so close to the river. A sudden surge and youre in cold water!

Please ignore my geographical ignorance but this is further downstream from Kitchener isnt it?

I was just out on my deck and seen that the waters had snuck through the woods since I had went down for a nap. I was more worried about the road, that I wasn't paying attention out back.

No. They stayed all night pumping the streets, so now this side of the bridge is clear. The other side is still a mess. People were removed by the army, no hydro or gas until Sunday at the earliest. All the main streets and bridges are still closed. I had 2 guys knock at my door today asking if this was an evacuated area. By the looks of them, they could of been looters, so I called the police to let them know.

I saw some deer running and had a little visitor on my deck yesterday. All the animals are discombobulated

The things we take for granted.....words! Yes looters is burglars, discombobulated means.....out of sorts, not fully with it. Out of their elements.

Today when coming home they had one of the bridges and roads closed. There were huge icebergs everywhere and was wild to see. I assume the water level rose above the bridge and pushed the ice all over the place. They had crews out at the rivers measuring the water and stuff too keeping an eye on it but it all seems fine now
