I just received a phone call from someone by the name of Jay.
He works for VIP lounge.
He told me that, if I make a deposit of 20 or more, I would get 250% of my deposit.
No withdrawal limit, no strings attached.
Ive played there in the past.....never won s*it.:D
What do you guys think about?

Hmm personally i dont like being bothered by phone by casinos spouting promotional offers. Whatever you decide, make sure you receive the offer in writing and not just verbally if you go for it. Plus there are far too much missing information! Wagering requirement being one of them.

I received a call today from the same casino with the same offer. I don't think its appropriate to call with such offers, unless previously given permission by player. This is especially true during normal business hours when most players are busy at their jobs.

Hi Kakata, it's the RTG VIP Lounge right? They're the only ones I can think of that would call you at home. Keep in mind that they are part of the Virtual Group, and that should give you your answer as to whether you take the offer or not. Dealing with them will probably be every bit as bad as your experience with Crystal Palace, maybe worse. My advice would be to run the other way.

I didnt even know they were RGT.
As matter of fact I said you are MG and he said yes.??????
For what I recall I thought they were an MG and I also thought they were kind of tight.....cause I never won.
Ill chech it out.

I just did.

You were correct, as usual,Pina. They are indeed an RTG were I did play at.......withouth any success, otherwise I would still be there playing.LOL
No chance.
Although, let me tell you guys,INETBET is gettin tighter and tighter.
I know thei pay............but for them to pay we have to win first.......thats the problem.
Theyr slots do not pay s*it.
Unless you win the RJ...........no way, NO WAY.:o:o:o

So, what happened to this idea that our thread was helping them get new players? This sounds like they have reached a new level of desperation:D
Jay even goes as far as pretending to be the MG one just because the player thought this. This means either that the "wrong" casino gets the deposit, or the player sees the lie as soon as they reinstall the casino.

By far, the best marketing strategy would be to PAY THE PLAYERS - the rest will then just fall into place (probably at about the same time the Pigs fly south for the winter:rolleyes:). They shouldn't forget that the eCogra sponsored survey exploded the myth that only a tiny fraction of players visit these forums, it turned out to be nearer 40% rather than around 4%. I expect this figure is growing all the time.

I do agree with kakata about Inetbet being tight. I joined a short while ago and have made a few deposits with them and their bonuses? well do they EVER come out? lol Far cry from King solomons where they come out fairly frequently. Sorry bitching over lol

Maybe you had really very much pain, because i must experienced even the opposite and i had ever much luck on iNetBet, but lost only much money on King Solomon's , because their payouts was always horrible and if you won soemtimes, you had to wait 5 days to get your money, but my patienceis not so big, that i can wait so long and that was always a fact, that i could never win anything there ;)

Lol Mike im pleased you do so well you Bleep bleep bleepity bleep lol Noo im just kidding my friend im just jealous  Well i have no idea if cash outs are quick or not ive never had the opportunity to find out yet cos i cant win lol Well heres to hoping

I hate when casinos call you! My ex didn't know I started gambling again. It was an ongoing fight between us. I got the mail everyday so I could throw away anything that was snail mailed to me but one time he answered the phone and it was Prism Casino and we split up for a few days because of it! I can't imagine that anyone would want a casino calling them. I'm sure many people are in my situation where friends or family don't approve.

No, I fully agree that can't imagine any circumstances where a casino would need to phone you. If they need to speak to you sure they can email you and ask you to phone.

I must admit that more often than not I put in a false telephone no. (all other details are genuine) as I can not been done with them phoning me. If I want to play, I will play don't need a casino to phone and offer me a once in a lifetime promotion.

I understand that and it may well come up oneday. Although for a casino to do that signifies the type of casino that they are and, as such, should probably be best avoided (a wee bit hypocritical given the other thread I have been posting on this week )

Putting the wrong no. down is not trying to defraud the casino in the same way that trying to set-up several accounts under aliases with false details is.

All my other details (Name, address, bank, date of birth, supplied documents when required) are always genuine, I just do not want casinos phoning me at home under any circumstances. My wife threatens to go after kitchen salesmen bollocks with a rusty knife so would hate to hear the response a casino would get, on 2nd thoughts should maybe give it a try :D

i never give my true phone number to anyone. i love when they ask at a dept store or walmart. i tell them all 1's please. i have about 7 or 8 numbers and some of them change frequently. so i always give an old number out.

Been there done that, god damn irritating! Sitting at the dinner table when suddenly this "mystic" call came in, not fun at all.

I have played at VIP Lounge Casino since they first opened about 1 year ago.
I have had better wins there and certainly made much more than I ever deposited. However the last month has been a problem. The normal 4 days wait and being paid has not happened. My last withdrawal from just 11 comp points was $150.00, however that was 2 weeks ago. I have not received the money.
I actually cancelled the withdrawal and lost $50.00 so put in a withdrawal again for just $100.00. Received an email to say my withdrawal would be processed within 4 working days and it is still in pending. What is more, my emails to the casino are bouncing back as well.

If the above information is correct, then VIP Lounge have nothing to do with the Virtual Casino Group of RTG Casinos
Keith.

I would appreciate feedback on what I just posted concerning the VIP Lounge Casino.
Keith.

Hmm interesting. That looks just like the casino (previously?) managed by Chris Di'Angelo of the Virtual Group. That James Bond looking guy is the same on the webpage and the virtual casino anyway.
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/17945/ if you scroll down the post you'll see where he identifies the virtual casinos, and his user name here is vip_lounge_mgr and if you go to the faxback form on the viploungecasino.com site it says,
"I, _________________________________, certify that all records of my transactions held by Weststar Accounting Limited, an International Business Corporation incorporated pursuant to the laws of Costa Rica, www.viploungecasino.com, and their subsidiaries,
"
So they might have an office in Shirley, SO15 3DB Southampton, GB. but they are incorporated in CR.

Hope that helps:thumbsup:

Chris Di'Angelo is still working at VIP Lounge Casino and also Manages CoolCat and Prism Casino as well.
I know that CoolCat and Prism are now owned by The Virtual Casino Group.
From my understanding VIP Lounge Casino is not part of the Virtual Casino Group.
I may add that while VIP Lounge is not working within the stated terms for the payouts but rather they are weeks behind, I play at the Virtual Casino on a regular basic again now and both my last payments have been 7 days for the first and 10 days for the second. They are working right within the rules they state. If anything changes, then I will report back here.
What the Hell is going on with VIP Lounge, I have no idea, but they have become pathetic.
aussiekeith.
From my understanding Chris is spending most of his time with Prism and Coolcat.

meister, do you ever post in wild cards? i'm sure there's a joke or two to be had about how large your hand looks in that picture.

That Southampton office is a smokescreen, designed to give the impression this is a UK based casino, with the higher morals that might be expected of a company sitting under the nose of the UK regulators.
Actually, it's total BS, MANY disreputable casinos have these UK offices, and they are in various locations, normally in the "bad part of town".

Shirley has a thriving shopping street, and it is very long - it also houses some less common businesses that one would not normally see in a town centre. It has at least 4 "Fruit Machine Casinos" along it's length, as well as some cheap office space above the many shops.

I would expect this "office" is nothing more than a letterbox, just enough to allow this UK address to be registered as the company HQ.

I have raised this "dodge" with the UK Gambling Commission, and the reply was:-

As you are aware, the new regime will come into force on 1 September 2007. However, the answer to your question is that in the new regime, a company will need to be licensed by the Gambling Commission if it locates any remote gambling equipment (sometimes referred to as key equipment) in Great Britain. The Gambling Act 2005 defines remote gambling equipment in Section 36 - an extract of which is copied below.

(4) In this Act "remote gambling equipment" means, subject to subsection (5), electronic or other equipment used by or on behalf of a person providing facilities for remote gambling-

(a) to store information relating to a person's participation in the gambling,

(b) to present, to persons who are participating or may participate in the gambling, a virtual game, virtual race or other virtual event or process by reference to which the gambling is conducted,

(c) to determine all or part of a result or of the effect of a result, or

(d) to store information relating to a result.

(5) In this Act "remote gambling equipment" does not include equipment which-

(a) is used by a person to take advantage of remote gambling facilities provided by another person, and

(b) is not provided by that other person.

Because of these provisions, it will be possible for a GB-owned company to locate their equipment offshore - they will of course be required to follow the rules of the relevant offshore location.

British regulated sites will be required to display the fact that they are licensed by the Commission, and their details will appear on the Commissions register, which will be made available on our website www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk

This demonstrates how this "dodge" works.

Provided the office is just a maildrop, and houses nothing to do with the casino itself, other than marketing perhaps. It is OK to quote the address for correspondence, even though the casino itself is offshore, where it must obey the rules for the offshore location (Costa Rica:D).

Virtual are sneaky though, they place this UK address in a very prominent position, whereas the Costa Rica connection is hidden away out of sight.
The intention is clear, an inexperienced player, especially one from the UK, will believe the casino to be UK based and regulated.

The only recourse is to complain to Trading Standards about the holding company, which is still legally respopnsible for any subsidiary it has a controlling stake in. Trading Standards could apply for a winding up order against Weststar holdings if it is found to be acting illegally, which would then make it an offence to display a UK address and a UK company number in order to gain credibility. (It probably won't stop them, but will make the execs "wanted" here in the UK, and may make the Gambling Commission look again at the practice of using a UK address and offshore equipment to fool players).

jeezum crow v-dub. you're always so articulate. i'm sure there are more than a couple members here who have no idea what you are saying when you post all these big english words. but keep it up though, our tongue is getting degraded daily, what with txt_spk and ebonics and 13375P34K (that's "leetspeak" to all you n00bz0rrs!!!eleven!!!!one!!!!!!111). good on ya bruv, safe!

Hi Aussiekeith,

This VIP Lounge is 100% connected to the Virtual Casino Group. You are patronizing a rogue casino FYI.
Yes I know that now Brian. I was actually told that this morning in Live Help by an operator. The Virtual Casino Group actually owns many more RTG Casinos than I realized. My suspicions were validated this morning when my payment finally arrived and not from VIP Lounge as it always used to but rather it went into to my Click2Pay account as payment from Cirrus Casino. LOL.
But I have to say that until this month I have always had prompt payments and great service from them. However I am having no problems with my account at Virtual Casino, yet. They always pay within the time frame that is stated in the payout terms. If this changes suddenly, then I will post it, in this forum.
Keith.
