NetEnt finally makes a slot that seems to dish out actually big wins a decent amount of time and people are still complaining why am I not surprised. I think this game is a big improvement over many of their other newer releases and I hope they'll keep going in this direction.
A slot that actually dishes out good wins & a big improvement?
I'd have to disagree. I see one very good screenshot of 2000x, but that doesn't make it a good game at all. To make something a good game there needs to be balance to match it's volatility. For example look at DoA. It spews out wildlines that pay in excess of 2000x every single day of the year. This game isn't difficult to trigger the bonus on and has a trigger frequency of 1 in 150 spins (Or there abouts). It's a high variance game with low volitilty which means 99% of the time bonuses pay less than 10x until you finally hit a wildine; this to me is perfectly acceptable.
Now let's take a look at this POS. It has 8% RTP (Allegedly) in the Base game. It's high variance and highly volatile. The Freespin trigger frequency on this is 450 spins (Again, allegedly). So for this to be a good game these bonuses should never pay less than 10x, in fact the freespins on this should only be spewing out 100x wins 99% of the time.
But of course it's NotEnt and the majority of freespins pay less than 50x.
So how can they make such a game like this and have it plauded as "Good" just because 999 people loss thier whole bankroll and 1 person hits 2000x?
I had a nice win earlier on
Rizk and hit 500x on Lucky Ladies charm Deluxe on £0.20 bet. The thing with Novomatic is they are the only developer who can make high variance & high volatile games and get the perfect balance of trigger frequency and payouts. It's uncommon to be on the end of a Novomatic freespin round that's paid less than 100x. This is what you expect from HV games, not this utter pathetic attempt by NotEnt.
In fact it's not exclusive to NotEnt. Play n Go (With - Moon Princees, Rise of Olympus and Crapatoonz) have tried and utterly "failed" at making and perfecting HV slots that appeal to slots players and make them want to come back and play the same slot. I now just avoid PnG as most of thier games have followed this same "badly programmed" trend of just robbing players as quick as they can under the guise of HV.
Push Gaming and Merkur are pretty much the same. While Blueprint & Microgaming have a good balance with their HV titles.
Long story short. After my win on Rizk I went and blew my whole £115 at £0.20 on this crap and triggered one bonus round after 1200 odd spins and this was the magnifcent bonus round I highly anticpated for such a HV slot
So, in my opinion this is more garbage from NotEnt and shouldn't even be played with a £2000 bankroll on minmum bets, seriously!
Get used to this type of slot by the way as all the developers have been slowly tweaking and heading in this direction. High Variance, High Volatility, Long freespin frequencies and low paying bonuses.
