yep and it feels like Hold'em with the new kind of battles. the jackpot chases are 1 on 1 copied with the Event Steps structure from Poker Stars.
and the last 1€ Battle with 25x rebuy option was looking like a funny Chipleader Donk Session on a multi-sitngo to me :D

i think thats just a big beta test from VS on us to make sure if we are compatible for the upcoming new poker platform :p:eek:

I did go to VS live chat to confirme it, and its true. If you buy in on the tournaments you get zip/nada/zilts XP or anything ells.

A bit harsh for the high roller who buy in to the 605€ tournaments.
 
If we are going down the road of large number of rebuys, which personaly I dont agree with as it takes out the luck element
and those with the most cash and time will always win,as in the MG tournies, think its important that each rebuy has to be played
before purchasing another.Dont know if multiple rebuys are posssible but it looks like it as more than 100 remaining plays are shown.
I didnt try this battle so i could be talking crap

Wouldn't that be nice! I miss my poker days so much, but if this is the case, I hope they have different levels for buy ins, and not just for the "elite".

@Team.Videoslots - May I give a suggestion for a new type of battle?

I see there has been a lot of new types of battles recently. Including the €1000 one at 6:45pm every day which has €1 buy in and 25 rebuys, and all those new rounders and jackpot chase battles.

My suggestion is this :D How about a battle that has a buy in of around €5 or €10 and might even be allowed rebuys or just make it a freezeout. You could make the prizes what the actual final score is we get from the spins? you could also then perhaps make it so that the amount of winners could be a lot more than the current buy in battles the guaranteed or added ones. Maybe you could have it have the top 50/100 winners get to win the final score they got?

I hope you consider it :) Just came up with it 10 mins ago :D

Just scored a £172 Bonus round in the Vikings battle. Cant wait for my rounders ticket so i can score 400 and get Knocked out of round one. Good way to waist my best Score on there

And those 100 spins might get you a fiver, or even less. Done that, been there. At least with the ticket, you're guaranteed that fiver.

I don't get why people obsess about their scores in battles. You're playing for 50c-20 EUR prizes in most of the freerolls. Doesn't really mean a thing if you hit 5 scatters in DOA or a marvelous bonus round in Halloween Jack.
 
Okay let's get this all simple. Total chance to win money from ticket freerolls:
1800 players and 90 tickets -> 5% chance to get ticket
Round 1: 20% chance to get round two ticket: Your total chance to bet in this point is 1%
Round 2: 20% chance to get round three ticket: Your total chance to be in this point is 0.2%
Round 3: 40% chance to get round four ticket: Your total chance to bet in this point is 0.08%
Round 4: 40% chance to get round five ticket: Your total chance to be in this point is 0.032%
Round 5: 60% chance to get big money: Your total chance to be in this point is 0.0192%

I didn't count those "2 and 3rd get lower level tickets" for the total chances because my math is not so good so that calculation isn't 100% theoretical. :D But it can not influence total chances very much.

But I hope I counted everything else right and there is no mistakes.

But main point: That's the reason why ticket battles are useless for the players and VS save big money when they give those tickets and not free spins.

yeh but the tiny chance 0.0192 pays relatively huge so just because its very unlikely you get there doesnt mean VS save money by awarding battle tickets
The value of the 90 ticket freeroll is obv 90 x 5.5 euro = 495 euro . Roughly equivalent to 5000 fs freeroll on a 10c game

If anything, the fact that all the tickets converge to big payouts for 3 players prob costs VS more because players are much more likely to cashout that amount whereas if they win 5 , 10 , 15 fs etc they won't cashout immediately (or can't because of the 20 min cashout rule)

It's a drop in value if 3000 or 4500 fs freerolls on 20c games have been replaced with these , for sure , but it's not like the battle tickets are worthless

They are not useless, but I do not like the changes from "Money gets shared with many players" to "Money gets shared with few players". Same with clash of spins and the casino race, I barely - never get something from clash of spins.

Look at the battle lobby and look at the battle at 6:45pm you can not miss it cos it is in red and it says €1000 in the title, it is a different slot every day :)

EDIT: just checked now and there is not a €1000 battle today :( maybe they are only on weekdays and not weekends? @Team.Videoslots ?

Which you are forced to use on a rounders with a not very high chance of winning on, and you can't cash out the ticket.

At least with a few freespins you can spend the winnings on what you want, like a better game or even cash out if you are lucky.

Given that there is so few people winning compared to the freespins its not really a good value imo..

Good work there. I will just say the same thing in another way:
Free chance to winning is around 1/8500. With 6 battles per day it is once every 4 years.

If you try to buy from round 1 you have 6/1000 chances to get something back or 100% RTP.
Again this is not exact numbers.

I guess people have a different take on these. Like @SlotGrinder pointed out, the prize pool is effectively the same. With the tickets it's just spread around more evenly with the winners.

I see it more as reorganisation of the distribution of prizes than diminishment of the overall value.

The logic prob is that they cut the value of the freerolls (for example the 90 tickets freeroll is equivalent to a 2500 fs freeroll on 20p game) plus they add liquidity to the jackpot sng battles since people are forced to play through the rounds with their tickets
And they make it less appealing for those players who target wagering the minimum solely to qualify for freerolls and battle weekends in order to make a profit
