Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

Noticed that one too. :(

I've won 1 single reward for 4 spins in 12 battles, I wonder how much of an effect playing on the 94% RTP has on the amount spins you win vs playing on the 96% RTP.

I feel ripped finding out about VS RTP reduction. My RTP on Book of Dead was running at 87% in over 55,000 spins before the RTP reduction.

How can yu play at different rtp you are playing in Euros not pounds and the games are predetermined.

Everyone plays the battles in Euro. The issue is Videoslots have reduced the RTP for UK, Germany, Ireland, Austria & Sweden to the 94% one instead of the 96% RTP.

And it applies to the battles. So people from Belgium will be playing the battles on the 96% RTP version while the affected countries will be playing on the 94% one. So it does have an effect.

The battles are predetermined as we know from when they crash so each spin is already known so this will not be affected by RTP

Sorry but that isn't true. Can you point me to anywhere Videoslots have told you that? If it were true then I can just enter a battle, not spin, then win a prize with 0 points?
You have always been able to win a prize with zero points if no one can play it's happened hundreds of times in evening battles also if you are in a bonus round and the time runs out you still get the bonus added at the end..

That is because since everyone has 0 points, they have to use another way to determine who is the winner. Next would be assuming there was a tie, did one person finish faster than the other? If so, that person would be in first. The next thing would be did they join the tourney first? If yes, = First place. That is how it would work.

thats a bug that there is always a table and the top ones, if everyone is on zero points, will get the prize. It doesn't show it is pre-determined. It can't be. If I enter a battle with you, and it is predetermined that you win and I come second, and you forget to the start the battle, how can you win?

The fair thing to do would be to restore the factory RTP on the games at least until the battle thing is sorted out.
Couldn't care less about real play cos I wont be doing it any more until its back to 96% permanently.

My take on it is that the help files will show the specific RTP for that player’s country, but the battle RTP is the same for every country. That is what they said and until they say otherwise, that is the only thing we can go on until they come out and confirm or otherwise.

The game files are served directly from PnG, they show the actual RTP of the game you are currently playing. There is no way the game can be playing at the higher RTP if the game file says otherwise. Unless you are suggesting Videoslots can adjust the RTP from their end for certain countries, over riding the PnG settings? Plus, they are in breach of their license if that is the case, as they are displaying the incorrect RTP for the game.

I’ve had 2 rewards so far in the first hour and ten minutes, my lowest return ever (from 12 battles).

They were both big first place wins, but the rest have been nowhere.

This was the second, already posted the first.

This is not true, or wasn't for me anyway. I had a bug where I had 37 re-buy spins left and would have gotten the 1st place, but I got booted from the game. Support could see that I had 37 left. Took screen shots etc, nothing worked. Got robbed off my first place, the spins certainly didn't finish themselves. Compensation? A €1 ticket. If you believe your theory, try yourself to not spin and see what happens.

So by the RTP logic being discussed if i'm in the UK I have a disadvantage on battles (free and paid) for play n go? Hardly seems fair if that's the case?

If you are playing at a lower RTP than other players, then they have an advantage over you.
People say a couple of % doesn't make much difference, but 3 rewards in 2 hours of playing non stop suggests different to me.

I would go on to say that it shouldn't have that much of a difference in all honesty. It's impossible to accurately calculate how much of a difference it would make without knowing exactly the ratio of players in each participating battle you play in coming from affected countries. It's all purely speculation.

The affected countries of UK, Ireland, Germany, Sweden and Austria make up a huge proportion of Videoslots market. It's highly likely that each and every battle you play will have a majority of players also playing on the 94% RTP. Outside of those you have the other 2 biggest of Videoslots Markets coming from Canada & Australia which I assume have the 96% RTP (I don't know aussies PnG RTP, but canada's is 96%).

I'd probably estimate that the affect is "minimal". So instead of averaging 5 rewards every hour, you're probably going to average 4 an hour; so you will end up losing 1 reward per hour. If you were play 24 hours straight you'd end up with 96 rewards instead of 120.

You'd lose out on 24 rewards.

I mean I guess 96 rewards is still "fine". But what isn't fine is stating

Hello Everyone,

Everybody will be playing on the same RTP’s in the Battles, meaning it will be fair for all players.

When clearly we all are not.

I’ve just managed to hit my 4th reward with another big score. That’s 4 in 2 hours.

Seems to be pence or £30+ for me. One extreme to another.

I’m off to bed.

I haven't had a result higher than 20, so never more than 100x bet overall.

The RTP sure seems to still favour you guys for the big hits. :D :D

TBH, I average the same as always: 4 - 5 rewards per hour.

I think it very much depends how the game provider is reducing the RTP. Is he taking off from the RTP part for mega wins (1,000x and more), for the base game, for the medium wins or reducing the hit rate in general. A game could play virtually similar if they take it off just from the mega win portion since we hit those high wins rarely anyway.

LOL I wonder why no one can chat in the battles; any guess?

I never chat, or maybe throw in a few words once in a few months. And never read it either, so can't say really.

People never chatted much in the short SnG battles anyway, I haven't looked at the BOD battle, could be different.

EDIT: The countries affected by the RTP change are just a part of their player base, not a small one but not everyone is affected.

Chats in freeroll and SNG are not working at all atm; its like we were all banned LOL

Honestly; I really don't care about RTP; I play the SNG for the fun of it and if I get some money out of it great :):p I have never won much from it but I enjoy heaps
