Maybe your not quick enough to join/register? Ive never had a problem getting into them, if done right (and your quick enough) you dont usually have much waiting.
(unless your waiting for previous battles to end before you can enter a new one).

I specially ran cccleaner on my comp b4 the battles to try and speed it up but it didnt help - this game is laggy af on my comp

yeah been doing that since yesterday night lol crappy laptop the little pad is to slow.

Dunno if it helps much (might not matter to some lol) but i use a mouse- the laptop pad can be a bit slower to navigate/click etc. (at least for me).

you really dont want to see my setup lol, its a laptop with a broken screen with a pc monitor attached missing half the keys, no mouse to use as only on usb port works which is used for a keyboard which im typing on

oh dear. lol i have a wireless mouse, but the plugged in part is a large thing with a cable on it so wont lose that too easily lol I do have a stash of batteries for the mouse though, just incase.
